Fantastic property. Daniela is an excellent host, greeting us and helping us to our rooms. Very close to the old town center. Very comfortable beds. Big help with travel arrangements.

Incredibly stylish, beautiful common areas and breakfast room, very helpful and friendly staff. Being located in the heart of the Centro Storico, there is some street noise but it did not keep us from sleeping. A wonderful haven of peace after the hustle and bustle of the markets.

We stayed at Il Giardino di Ballarò and honestly it was one of the best parts of our trip to Palermo. From the moment we arrived at night and Donna checked us in, we felt looked after. Giuseppe, Aurora and her mother all made us feel like guests in a family home rather than customers. Breakfast was excellent every morning. The place itself is beautiful. The building goes back to the 1600s — it was a stable, and later housed one of the neighborhood's old bakeries — and you can still see traces of that in the stone arches and the courtyard. It's right in the middle of the old city, steps from the Ballarò market, but once you're inside it's quiet.
