The first room we were assigned was full of ants. All over the table and wall. Took about 2 seconds to notice since there were so many. The front desk staff was very helpful. Got us another room thankfully. Hotel is old run down and considering the ants i have doubts about cleanliness. Would not stay again

Stayed 1 night

I arrived in the early evening to this 3 story property on a warm day in early June. I was advised to take a room on the first level because the 3rd level was hot with limited AC. I didn’t want to stay on the first floor (even though they have many cameras on the property). The elevator and 3rd floor in general creaked—especially the tub without a stopper. It was still pretty warm at midnight with the AC running full blast for 5+ hours. Room was otherwise ok—artificial flowers probably made it seem more dated/dirty than if they weren’t there. It had a very small patio, but it didn’t help cool the room that night. In the morning, I rushed down to eat the breakfast by 9am on Sunday morning before it closed. There weren’t many amenities to speak of otherwise—not even a place to fill water bottles when we left for a hike. The location is near a Walmart/food, which is good—we bought a jug of warm drinking water for our hike there. Parking was free. I know that I didn’t pay a fortune to stay here, but I don’t think that I got my money’s worth and I left wishing that I’d picked somewhere else.

Property was well-maintained and attractive. The room was more than adequate, very clean and quiet. Breakfast nook was well-stocked; staff gets five-stars in my book!
