Hotel Bahia del Sol

Mycket bra hotell fina bufféer, bra gym ett spa som säkert är kanon, men hela hotellet är ett spa. Mysiga områden att nyttja. Tråkigt att hissen gick sönder två gånger på fjorton dagar, men inga problem att få hjälp med att ta ner väskan från rummet vid avfärd.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. Great value for money. Great gym facilities, and lovely pool. The food was standard for a hotel like this, we enjoyed. The room was lovely, clean and spacious. Lili on reception was very friendly and helpful, thank you!

I was very disappointed in my stay. Unfortunately from the start to the end. Besides the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet there weren’t many positive things I can say about my stay. Our room needed repairs to the bathroom so our whole stay we had difficulties showering, even after expressing it to staff and asking to be moved. We were told multiple times that they couldn’t move us as rooms available needed repairs as well. We had noisy neighbors who were screaming up and down the hallways and in their room all hours of the night and nothing was done about it. Parking is NOT free, despite saying on our reservation on Expedia it was so we were charged 10.00 night. The only positive thing I can say is the resort is closed to the beach and walking distance from all the local stores.

Honestly everything was great once we got there but the service before? Was awful. AWFUL. I wanted to add a guest to my reservation and I could not get in contact with them. I travel a lot and this was the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I tried to reach out to the hotel 6 times. I called and they answered but once I said “Hello?”, They hung up on me immediately. I then got a friend who spoke Spanish and they continued the conversation. This happened 3 times and refused to help me with my issue. I used the contact form on the website, I emailed them all over a month in advance, and no response. I even asked Expedia for help and they refused to amend my reservation or offer assistance. So when I got there, the lady working did not apologize nor offer kindness or regret about what had happened. Instead she charged us more than we paid for the initial booking and more than the Bahia Del Sol website price for a double room for two people. This would not had been such a hassle for any other hotel I’ve been to. Nor would it have been such a steep fee when the room already held space for two people. I’m thoroughly disappointed especially since it is a beautiful resort.
