THE LOCATION IS GREAT!!! THE BEACH IS VERY NICE AND WE LOVED THE LITTLE MARINA RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL POOL. YOU CAN GO THERE AND RENT A BOAT FOR THE DAY. AMAZING AMAZING LOCATION STAFF IS FREINDLY AND HOTEL IS NICE. THE ONLY THING WE DID NOT LIKE IS TO USE THE HOTELS PRIVATE BEACH THEY MAKE YOU PAY TO SIT ON THE BEACH. STRANGE

My wife and I had a week’s stay at the hotel. We booked a deluxe room but on arrival were upgraded to a suite which had a fantastic corner balcony with views over the sea and towards the port. This meant we could sit either in the sun or shade during the day as required. Plus it also had a retractable awning as well which was an added bonus. The hotel is right on the beach plus has a nice pool with plenty of pool side sun loungers. The room although not particularly large was very comfortable with a nice bathroom and shower. We did not eat in the restaurants other than breakfast which ended at 10.30 am each day which had a good choice of hot and cold foods. All the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful and made our stay a very pleasant one. The location is good with the beach one side with lovely beautiful clear waters and white sand and it is also about 10-15 minutes walk into town where there are a few bars and lots of cafe/restaurants. The only negatives were our TV hardly worked (not that we were too bothered about that) and the WiFi tended to drop in and out. Plus from the 7th June onwards you have to pay for the hotel’s beach sunbeds up to €60 per day! I regularly stay in hotels all around the world and have never had to pay my own hotel for this before? Overall though a very enjoyable stay and if returning to Porto Aranci I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The reality is that only a very small part of this already small beach was private to the hotel. About 90% of it is public and very crowded. Très bel établissement sur la mer. Belle piscine et belle plage 🏖️. Par contre, je trouve décevant et anormal de payer les transats (60€/jours) vu le prix des chambres (810€/nuit avec petit déjeuner).

This was a one night and following day stay and we loved it!! It had everything, helpful smiling staff, access to a beautiful beach with turquoise water (shallow) and a fabulous swimming pool. We took the half board option and the food was delicious. The price was good value and it was quite close (30mins) from the airport. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Beautiful hotel on the water. We had a room with a nice view of the bay from our small balcony. The room was small but we made it work. The staff was attentive. Breakfast was so perfect with so many beautiful options. It get crowded but they do a great job. The bar always had some one that could make you a beverage any time you walked by. We ate dinner there only once it was good. But the variety on the menu did not suit our tastes so we dinned out the other nights. Location is nice and quiet. Staff was wonderful and the hotel grounds were pretty. super clean and well kept.

My Wife and I were celebrating our 20-yr anniversary and booked a week at the tail end of our Italy trip to wind down. The staff and hotel are amazing. We booked an ocean view room which had a patio over looking Golfo Aranci, the most amazing view. Whilst on the private beach, drink and food service was fantastic. Although there are some great sights, restaurants and shopping within walking distance, we rented a small car via the hotel and took fantastic day trips to other parts of Sardinia.

This hotel was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our room and the hotel in general were very clean and comfortable. We had a room with a sea view and it was breathtaking. Also, we ate at the Blú restaurant and the food was delicious each time. We would definitely recommend Gabbiano Azzurro Hotel and hope to stay again in the future.

Exceptional property, beautiful rooms cleaned twice daily. Outstanding staff. Breakfast and the Blu Restaurant were both excellent (we ate at Blu twice both meals and service superb). Beach lovely, we didnt have to pay for chairs as waived after September 19 till end of season. My only criticism is at this level of hotel service complimentary water is appropriate, especially as not recommended to drink the tap water in Golfo Aranci, this is what I would expect and have received from properties of similar calibre.

We were upgraded to a room with an ocean view and it was spectacular, spacious with a comfortable bed. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is five star with many wonderful choices.

Beautiful location next to beach. High standard of service. Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were comfortable and clean although beds were hard. Food was great. Would definitely return.

The view is spectacular. The pool area is beautiful but the pool is not heated. The breakfast is very good. We had a deluxe room with a large terrace and glass railings to admire the beautiful view. Loved the walk to lungomare which had some lovely restaurants and shops.I do feel, however, that the lobby could be improved upon.

Wunderschöne Lage - entgegen der Beschreibung war das Zimmer leider nicht direkt zum Meer hinaus- erst Durch einen Upgrade konnte der Meerblick erworben werden

Nu var inte vädret med mig under min vistelse och det är enligt mig helt avgörande. Ett fantastikt fint hotell om solen skiner med sin privata strand och hög service. Riktig bra frukost. Det negativa kan jag nämna att sängarna var mycket hårda och att matsalen inomhus som är helt avsaknad av ljudabsorbenter blir mycket stimmig om det sitter lite gäster och pratar.

Beautiful hotel on the water. We had a room with a nice view of the bay from our small balcony. The room was small but we made it work. The staff was attentive. Breakfast was so perfect with so many beautiful options. It get crowded but they do a great job. The bar always had some one that could make you a beverage any time you walked by. We ate dinner there only once it was good. But the variety on the menu did not suit our tastes so we dinned out the other nights. Location is nice and quiet. Staff was wonderful and the hotel grounds were pretty. super clean and well kept.

Fint hotel men tydligt at det har haft sine bedste dage bag sig. Morgenmad er lidt kedelig, ligeledes med frokost. En del af personalet kunne ikke kommunikere på andet end italiensk. Incredible property in an incredible setting. Stayed here on one leg of our honeymoon, upon telling Claudia at recpetion, she upgraded us to a junior suite. Let us check in early, and prior to our room being ready gave us towels for us to use the pool and all their facilities as we waited. Upon checking in to our room our bags were brought up to our room already and prosecco waiting on ice. These are small details but really set the hotel apart form others- great 5 star service. (Claudia at recpetion was extremly attentive, nice and overly accommodating for the duration of our stay- 5/5 service from her.) Property is clean and directly on the beach- access to private beach and chairs (for a fee). Beach is clean and private area is quiet and not over crowded- beach bar at hotel within walking distance. Food at restaurant is good- can be pricey, especially for lunch portions- but quality was very good. Hotel is within walking distance to shops, supermarket and a number of quality restaurants. 15 minute walk direclty to main Golfo Aranci pier. Overall enjoyable stay and great property- would come back.

My wife and I had a week’s stay at the hotel. We booked a deluxe room but on arrival were upgraded to a suite which had a fantastic corner balcony with views over the sea and towards the port. This meant we could sit either in the sun or shade during the day as required. Plus it also had a retractable awning as well which was an added bonus. The hotel is right on the beach plus has a nice pool with plenty of pool side sun loungers. The room although not particularly large was very comfortable with a nice bathroom and shower. We did not eat in the restaurants other than breakfast which ended at 10.30 am each day which had a good choice of hot and cold foods. All the hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful and made our stay a very pleasant one. The location is good with the beach one side with lovely beautiful clear waters and white sand and it is also about 10-15 minutes walk into town where there are a few bars and lots of cafe/restaurants. The only negatives were our TV hardly worked (not that we were too bothered about that) and the WiFi tended to drop in and out. Plus from the 7th June onwards you have to pay for the hotel’s beach sunbeds up to €60 per day! I regularly stay in hotels all around the world and have never had to pay my own hotel for this before? Overall though a very enjoyable stay and if returning to Porto Aranci I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The service was very poor - the soap/cream dispenser in the bathroom broke and we had to request them to be changed twice - even when we left they did not replace them. We requested the changes for 2 days. The restaurant service was not great either - they only tried to sell you the most expensive bottle of wine when we asked for recommendations on a dry white wine. No butter or olive oil was served with stale bread at the beginning of meal service, only after we requested it did they bring the bottles over which were sat on the serving station. The risotto was very underdone and the beef tartare was subpar, the egg yolk was fully cooked. We were charged €10 for milk to go with our instant coffee in the room. After we questioned the charge, they told us they provide milk in the room to “English guests” and missed our room. After we spoke with the manager and questioned the charge, she told us she would “sort it out”- no surprise, it was still on the bill when we went to check out. Eventually they removed the charge, only after requesting the removal due to their miss on multiple occasions. Also beware of the drinks at the hotel bar, we were charged €27 for a gin&tonic and Aperol spritz. 20% higher than any other local high end restaurant using the same ingredients and better views and much nicer service. The room was ok but nothing special for the price they were charging for food, drinks or accommodation. The location is great but that is the only redeeming factor.

Can’t say enough about the staff. Very welcoming, kind and accommodating. It was my 60th birthday they surprised me with a wonderful room and champagne from the owner Túlio. The beach area is perfect for kids and adults, beautiful views! Great shower, and toiletries, fluffy towels! Love this place and can’t wait to go back!

Exceptional property, beautiful rooms cleaned twice daily. Outstanding staff. Breakfast and the Blu Restaurant were both excellent (we ate at Blu twice both meals and service superb). Beach lovely, we didnt have to pay for chairs as waived after September 19 till end of season. My only criticism is at this level of hotel service complimentary water is appropriate, especially as not recommended to drink the tap water in Golfo Aranci, this is what I would expect and have received from properties of similar calibre.

My Wife and I were celebrating our 20-yr anniversary and booked a week at the tail end of our Italy trip to wind down. The staff and hotel are amazing. We booked an ocean view room which had a patio over looking Golfo Aranci, the most amazing view. Whilst on the private beach, drink and food service was fantastic. Although there are some great sights, restaurants and shopping within walking distance, we rented a small car via the hotel and took fantastic day trips to other parts of Sardinia.

The photos of the hotel look much better than reality. We knew the beach was small, but from the photos and the description it sounded like the beach was private. The reality is that only a very small part of this already small beach was private to the hotel. About 90% of it is public and very crowded. In addition to that, the hotel charges 40 euros a day for a beach umbrella and 60 euros if you want to be in the front row. The location is not great either. It is about 45 minutes drive from Costa smeralda. The staff was very nice though and the rooms were cleaned twice a day, which was nice. Overall it was ok, but would not stay there again.

The view is spectacular. The pool area is beautiful but the pool is not heated. The breakfast is very good. We had a deluxe room with a large terrace and glass railings to admire the beautiful view. Loved the walk to lungomare which had some lovely restaurants and shops.I do feel, however, that the lobby could be improved upon.

This was a one night and following day stay and we loved it!! It had everything, helpful smiling staff, access to a beautiful beach with turquoise water (shallow) and a fabulous swimming pool. We took the half board option and the food was delicious. The price was good value and it was quite close (30mins) from the airport. We would definitely return to this hotel.

The staff in the hotel was very attentive and friendly. Breakfast selections were excellent. Lunch by the beach was very good and dinner at Blu was delicious. This hotel is superb!!!

Also beware of the drinks at the hotel bar, we were charged €27 for a gin&tonic and Aperol spritz. 20% higher than any other local high end restaurant using the same ingredients and better views and much nicer service. The room was ok but nothing special for the price they were charging for food, drinks or accommodation. The location is great but that is the only redeeming factor.
The service was very poor - the soap/cream dispenser in the bathroom broke and we had to request them to be changed twice - even when we left they did not replace them. We requested the changes for 2 days. The restaurant service was not great either - they only tried to sell you the most expensive bottle of wine when we asked for recommendations on a dry white wine. No butter or olive oil was served with stale bread at the beginning of meal service, only after we requested it did they bring the bottles over which were sat on the serving station. The risotto was very underdone and the beef tartare was subpar, the egg yolk was fully cooked. We were charged €10 for milk to go with our instant coffee in the room. Exceptional property, beautiful rooms cleaned twice daily. Outstanding staff. Breakfast and the Blu Restaurant were both excellent (we ate at Blu twice both meals and service superb). Beach lovely, we didnt have to pay for chairs as waived after September 19 till end of season. My only criticism is at this level of hotel service complimentary water is appropriate, especially as not recommended to drink the tap water in Golfo Aranci, this is what I would expect and have received from properties of similar calibre.

Beautiful hotel on the water. We had a room with a nice view of the bay from our small balcony. The room was small but we made it work. The staff was attentive. Breakfast was so perfect with so many beautiful options. It get crowded but they do a great job. The bar always had some one that could make you a beverage any time you walked by. We ate dinner there only once it was good. But the variety on the menu did not suit our tastes so we dinned out the other nights. Location is nice and quiet. Staff was wonderful and the hotel grounds were pretty. super clean and well kept.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful\! This hotel truly feels like a 5\-star resort\. The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived, and the food was delicious throughout our stay\. The pool is beautiful, and the beach is simply amazing\. For Sardinia, it’s surprisingly large and absolutely worth visiting\. There is a beach fee of $40 per day, but in our opinion, it’s completely worth it\. They also have a great beach bar where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful views\. This is the perfect place for families with kids\. From the front desk check in with Matteo, to breakfast, lunch or dinner service with Emanuel and cocktails service overlooking the ocean with Mercedes we couldn’t have been more looked after and pampered!! The property is absolute paradise and the people who work there are so sweet and wonderful, add to that the food is delicious. Hopefully we will be back again!
