Finest Retreats - Islip Mill House - Beautiful Riverside Home

Islip Mill House is a lovely property, full of character and beautifully furnished.

A wonderful old house, full of creaky floors, strange collectibles, and character in every room. The location next to the River Nene and walking trails was beautiful. And the huge, trimmed lawn area was a huge hit with the children who played cricket and soccer. And best of all - the resident Swans, Moorhen, and BADGERS!

I arranged the weekend for my mother’s 85th birthday celebrations. She has not been well lately and we wanted somewhere nice and comfortable for her and for all of us to enjoy. My brother and his wife joined us so together with my husband and our two teenage children. Islip mill house the perfect place . The house and gardens and all the surroundings were absolutely beautiful. We found the house so welcoming. Every effort had been made to make us feel at home and we certainly appreciated the amazing goodies left for us to enjoy. We all loved the house and the many interesting and quirky items arranged throughout the house.Everyone would find their favourite such as the mechanical toys in the cupboard. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable . All the amenities were in first class condition . All the family agreed that the accommodation was perfect and we all would like to thank the owners for making the stay just as perfect.

Great place for a weekend away with friends. The dogs loved the massive lawn too!

Lovely property with lots of character, the drive into the property is beautiful. Very comfortable beds and in a nice location. Host was friendly and welcoming.
