Good overall, but parking (advertised as free) was actually $20 per night, and the car park didn’t have enough spaces for our second night in any case, apparently due to a concert, As we’d booked based on needing a decent car space, this aspect was disappointing.

Parking was tricky and a bit inconvenient. The property was quiet, convenient to shops and public transport. Walkable distances to shops, cinema, trains and cafe on site excellent. Need to go to Toowong or Auchenflower or CBD for better eating/dinner options. Overall good place to stay, we would stay again.

1.The parking issues when leaving the property for the day were an issue- needs to have something so you dont need to validate your ticket with reception each time you leave, especially when you have paid in advance. 2. No dropbox or anything to leave your room keys if leaving early. 3.Sundays are especially an issue as reception does not open till after 9am.....so validating you parking ticket is a problem if wanting to leave early. This needs to be advised prior or a new system for patrons staying with vehicles. The cafe was great and staff very polite efficient and friendly.

Begrüsst hat uns im Badezimmer eine Riesen-Schabe. Da es bereits nach 21 Uhr war, war niemand an der Rezeption und wir wurden telefonisch auf den nächsten Tag vertröstet. Vor der Ankunft im Hotel hat uns niemand informiert, dass das Hotel aktuell renoviert wird und dass mit Baulärm zu rechnen ist. Wir wurden (trotz 3-fach-Verglasung) jeden Tag um ca. 06:30 unsanft geweckt (Bohrmaschine, Klopfen der Seile auf das Fenster). Bei der Reservierung und bei der Bestätigung haben wir keinen Hinweis gefunden, dass in diesem 4-Stern-Hotel die Zimmer-Reinigung nicht im Standard-Preis enthalten ist und dass wir das Housekeeping nur gegen Aufpreis erhalten können. Das Hotel-Restaurant ist nicht immer geöffnet (z.B. am Mittwoch ist es am Abend einfach zu). Kurz gesagt: Wir bedauern sehr, dass wir dieses Hotel (über hotels.com) gebucht haben. Hätten wir alles oben Genannte gewusst, hätten wir mit 100%-Sicherheit ein anderes Hotel gewählt...

Room was much smaller than advertised, no cleaning service during our entire stay and the room smelt of sewerage with very little ventilation. Had to open the door to the room to ventilate. Exit of carpark is very difficult with a very sharp 90 degree turn required to exit the carpark requiring you to turn wide which means navigating/blocking cars entering the carpark!

Beds were only ok, bit too spongy. Views were great. Bathroom was for a disabled person or elderly. Not appropriate for anyone else. Water from shower flooded the floor due the enlarged curtain set up and poor tiling arrangement. Central drain top was In disgraceful condition and should be replaced.

The Essence Suites were ideal for a quiet, well appointed, spacious room which I needed to focus on work. With Taringa train station, great cafe downstairs, Coles supermarket and nail salon a short walk away- it was a convenient location. The staff were lovely and very welcoming, cafe staff were also very friendly & food/coffee was great, recommend.

Very impressed. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the parking was easy to find and plenty available and reasonably priced. Beautiful clean rooms and hotel. The main reason I would book again would be the staff. Very kind. I was outside waiting for a car in the rain and was offered an umbrella to take with me for the afternoon. Simple things go a long way. Very happy.

We came as an excited/loud group of 7 from Sydney for an event in Indoorpilly. The apartments were very convenient for our stay. Everything is comfortable, clean and tidy. Cafe downstairs means you don’t need to search for a coffee or breakfast. However the standout for this properly is the staff. Their service is next level. Super friendly and extremely helpful. Would highly recommend

The Essence Suites were ideal for a quiet, well appointed, spacious room which I needed to focus on work. With Taringa train station, great cafe downstairs, Coles supermarket and nail salon a short walk away- it was a convenient location. The staff were lovely and very welcoming, cafe staff were also very friendly & food/coffee was great, recommend.
