Incredible new build hotel, with great access to the Brisbane shopping areas. Was no more than a 5 minute walk. The swimming pool in this hotel was amazing with the swim up bar. I could have spent the whole day on this level!!

The hotel is very clean and fresh. Male staff member at front counter was unfriendly and not helpful. Room was not ready in a timely manner and they could not advise when it may be available, we were turned away 3 times being told to ‘try again later’. One of the reasons we booked the Westin was for its swim up bar however this was closed even though it was advertised as being open all year round.

Room was clean, but dusty in some areas. Was disappointed about the pool. On the weekends they hire out the cabanas to non-hotel guests that hotel guests aren't allowed to reserve! Double dipping and the high paying hotel guests have nowhere to sit and the pool was very busy with noisy drunk outsiders. Not relaxing whatsoever and I chose this hotel specifically for the pool. Otherwise, classy hotel with excellent service and beautiful rooms.

The pool was basically unusable. First day told unavailable from 4pm. Second day large group of revelers basically made the pool unusable. Dirty plates and drink glasses everywhere. Roudy and dangerous behavior. Pool rules ignored and no policing.

The concierge staff, front desk and Room Sercive staff were excellent. Our room was very modern with quality appointments and clean. Breakfast in the Club Room was a god send as the main restaurant was noisy and jam full. The swimming pool and swim up bar on a Saturday felt like a Bali club. Over run with noisy kids, every lounge, seat and possible space occupied. It felt way over capacity and the poor staff looked exhausted. We left them to it and exiting the hotel for the afternoon. Sadly, the hotel does not serve cocktails at 9pm because they were expecting to get busy - even though there were 3 behind the bar of which, 1 barman was polishing glasses and the other was cleaning the coffee machine. For a quality hotel chain, this was unexpected and very disappointing. For this reason, I would pick another hotel next time.

Facilities and room was amazing. Breakfast 10/10 Pool is heated, so can swim all day, but only gets sun for a couple of hours and constant moves around the surrounding high rise buildings so don’t expect to sit in sun for very long. Lucky the water is heated!

Great hotel and location, very clean and modern. Was a little disappointed with the housekeeping as they missed one of our rooms. Even after we spoke to reception only our towels were replaced. The beds were not made and toiletries were not replenished which was disappointing for a highly rated hotel.

The drains in the bathroom smelt like mould, unfortunately it seemed to be a common issue in the hotel with other people also experiencing the same stench The poor was poorly cleaned by house keeping, empty chip packet remained on the bedside table as well as a empty water bottle was left in the bathroom and not replaced

Everything was great, however there was a very bad strong smell coming from the bathroom drains and toilet. When we mentioned it we were told someone would look into it. When we came back they said the issue had been resolved, but there was no change. Also, the bill was not prepared correctly at checkout time, so I have been charged for the full stay twice. I am still trying to resolve the issue.

A really exceptionally nice , brand new hotel. Very quiet in the rooms, great sound proofing . Comfortable beds. Showers decent power and large TV which had the facility to chrome cast from personal phone etc eg watch Netflix . My son loved it. Very convenient for the CBD and the Botanic Gardens. Just across from Southbank parklands and close to future Star Casino and all the restaurants and footbridge to Southbank theatres and museums. Good value . Never had the opportunity to use the heated outdoor pool but will be back I am sure

The bed in the suite was terrible, as it was not even flat. One side of the bed is lower than the other side. And shaking! The suite included 2 breakfasts but only 1 bathrobe.

The staff were lovely from the outset. Allowed me to check in to my room early as I was attending a wedding. Made the whole process so much easier. Assisted with baggage and went above and beyond to ensure all guests were taken care of. I live in Brisbane but would definitely sign up for a staycation here !!

Overall all good. But checkout is not smooth and breakfast is not as good as 5 stars. The hotel defaults to charge credit card fees via online booking hotel.com . But I said my card is not a credit card so I don’t wanna pay for $16 fees. The staff told me I have to pay again for two night $1000 plus use another card ( saving or cash) then they can release the online booking payment with no fees. Which means I got $1000 plus on hold cannot be released until a few days later. I told her I also need to do other things so I don’t wanna be held for $1000 plus. She ask me which bank I am with. She doesn’t know Australian one of the big four banks name which surprises me. Then she talk to a supervisor who even more ridiculously said she doesn’t control the bank. The supervisor/ manager told the staff she can manually adjust the system and change to No credit card fee charge. And told me that I don’t understand their hotel system. Sounds like customer is stupid and my fault and I don’t understand how online booking works. I told her I stay in many 5 star hotels , and many online booking never charge credit card fees as my card is not credited card even the system default shows is credit. So she know how to manually adjust their system. If the hotel cannot train the staff especially the supervisor or manager how to talk to customer, then they should not work at the front desk and assume customer is stupid and they cannot control the bank. I never ask if she can control the bank.

Amazing hotel with comfy beds and spacious rooms. My only complaint is the food - ordered an in-room dining dish which came half cold, there weren't a whole lot of options at breakfast compared to other 5 star hotels and people in my travel group had problems ordering coffee at breakfast (waiters got the order wrong 3 times). Other than this the staff at the counters and valet were all very friendly and I would stay here again.
