Leonardo Hotel and Conference Venue Hinckley Island

Arrived at the hotel around 9pm, the hotel had about 50 people loitering in the lobby, getting in the way. There were another 100 or so people scattered around the hotel for a conference. All of their bags, suitcase, possessions were left throughout the hotel corridors making it difficult to wheel our luggage to our room. Once we arrived at our room, it was clear it was not properly cleaned. The toilet seat had bleach on it, clearly a rushed attempt at cleaning it. There was one tea bag stocked, no coffee replenished after the previous guest. One milk between the two of us and the mugs clearly had not been washed properly, just rinsed. On the bed, there were long black hairs on one of the pillows. Additionally, the was a section of the carpet (next to the desk) that was ripped and there were a dozen or so bugs crawling around. We went to reception to have this rectified and had our room changed. After lugging our luggage to the new room, it was clear that hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned either. There was a dirty towel lying by the door as we entered. There were 2 pillows missing and a packet of nose-strips left by the bed. We asked for the room to be checked properly. We were told they would bring us 2 more pillows right away but they never did. We also tried ordering room service but it took 20mins for someone to answer. Finally, we were told we would need to pre-book the pool. However, when I emailed the team, no one bothered replying. Very tiring and stressful stay.

Room was lovely and clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful l.

Really affordable price considering it was Grand Prix weekend. Pool facilities were lovely

Wasn’t there for long (checked in late & left early) but the rooms & hotel were clean. Looks better inside than outside. Plenty of parking (only a few electric chargers).

Big hotel spacious rooms and good amenities. Terrible red wine in the bar!
