Garage is nice when cold out. Would be nice if they served breakfast and have a pool. But very nice accommodations.

Very nicely set up for our visit to Mayo clinic. Ability to have and prepare some meals to avoid the restaurant meals 3 times a day. A refreshing option. The underground, heated, parking was a great and very welcome option as the weather dealt us a cold snap with temperatures at zero and wind chill reading of double digit below zero. Taking the elevator to the garage level and getting into a car that was 65 degrees was one of my favorite features of this property. Very pleased with our stay

Excellent room. Clean. Nice layout. Front desk service was great. Only complaint is they have handicapped parking but no easy way in for this with a disability. There are curbs all around entrance. One inside it is wonderful, but getting there was rough.

We very much appreciated a 2:00 extended checkout so it reduced the hours we needed to spend at Mayo for a 4:15 appt. The hospital shuttle is a very convenient perk for patients and family. Free parking underground or in a well illuminated outdoor parking lot.

We loved that in the cold, they had heated and under ground parking. However, the TRASH in the underground parking garage was awful and was over throwing terribly. Great stay inside though and very clean!!!

The lobby area and our room were very clean and nicely decorated (modern, up-to-date). The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accomodating. One cool thing we had never seen before were the 'Lending Lockers' where there were items including books, puzzles, small tools, etc. that guests could borrow. We hadn't realized that breakfast was not included, but the Perkin's restaurant about one block away fulfilled that need very well.

Loved the underground parking!

The stay was nice and the area was very good. It was about 5-10 minute drive to Mayo Clinic and they offer a shuttle bus as well with frequent times. The front desk staff I worked with on PM’s was so friendly and accommodating and I really wish I remembered her name, but I want to shout her out. I just remember she had really cute nails and I want the color lol. I loved that Caribou Coffee was a hop and skip away from the hotel. The only thing I did not love was that the area was not salted properly after the snow that fell the night before. The area was very icy and slippery and for people who are here for medical reasons, this can be a big safety issue. Also the main entrance where the doors are at has a large curb and the only ramp is off to the side where the handicap parking is at. This makes it difficult to navigate the luggage and moving it inside. The main entrance curb should also have a ramp so anyone can access this area instead of having to walk around to the side. The room itself was clean and quiet and spacious. I appreciated the office chair and the reclining chair. I loved the full fridge so i can store my medications etc. The bed was comfortable and it was easy to control the temperature. The TV options were nice and the office space was spacious. I appreciate the staff and the facility for being clean and quiet and helpful!

Honestly one of the best accomodated Hotels ai have ever stayed in. Very clean, courteous staff...accomodations amazing. Traveling for basketball tournaments gets a bit hectic so to be able to come back to a room with exceptional comfort and service is always a plus. The laundry mat, fitness room, pantry...even having you own mini kitchen in your room...i mean come on...for a reasonable price at that.

Very satisfied with our stay and cleanliness of the room. I was visiting because of a Mayo Clinic visit and had to leave 1 day early because of a winter storm. The hotel and staff were very accommodating. Next time I will definitely stay at the Candlewood suites and hotel!

Our room had a distinctive mildew smell, not sure where it was coming from. If not tired from our long trip, would have requested a different room. Also, they ran out of disposable cups so could not take advantage of their offer of a free cup of coffee in the morning.

Clientele has changed at this facility. Used to be very clean and mainly Mayo patients were staying here. Now it is mainly construction workers who congregate and smoke by the entrance. Not something you want to walk through when you’ve just gone through surgery. Further room smelled funny and didn’t appear clean. Smelled like someone just took a dump in the toilet and hair on the toilet seat. In addition shower had a ring in it and there was a big chip in the shower. Unfortunately this was my fave property to stay at when we would come and likely we will not be going back.

Excellent choice when staying in Rochester! Hotel is extremely clean, service was excellent, room was very large and had all the necessary amentities. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Rochester!

Service was great and easy check in. The room was very spacious and it was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We plan to stay here again.

The shuttle service to Mayo is great, beds comfortable. Three of us in the room but only two towels for a week and two sets of utensils and flatware. Asking for more was a big ordeal with the sloppy front desk workers. Hair all over bathroom. No breakfast and the “pantry” was poorly stocked. Asking for anything, including coffee was an argument.

We were very comfortable in our room. The location was perfect for us. I had an appointment at Mayo the next morning. Would suggest to change out the shower head. It was limed up and did spray very well.

Underground parking, large rooms and bathroom

Very comfortable beds and pillows in our room. Room was bigger then we were expecting. Could have had more then 2 bath towels in a room ment to sleep 4 people.

Beautiful place lots of room

The beds and pillows were so comfy and didn’t deflate like normal hotels. The rooms were roomy and fit our family perfectly.

We liked being able to bring our own food and cooking it in the room. The one thing we did not like was the weak water pressure in the shower.

I live this hotel and its covered parking. the rooms are great with the exception of the TVs seem a little small and there is a gap at the bottom of the bathroom door that when I turn on the blow dryer it wakes my husband. Both which I would rather deal with than stay somewhere else.

Location was good. Tv didn’t work, channels kept freezing up. Very annoying…

staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. bathroom was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Noise was not a problem. Underground garage was a real plus. We will use this place again and recommend it to our friends and family.

For a Hotel that is only a couple years old the service is not very good. Almost never anyone at the front desk. All they ever had was decaf coffee 😤 said they were waiting on more in the mail. Was told by a coffee shop next door that the hotel routinely ran out of hot water. We always had hot water. They did get regular coffee from the Caribou coffee shop next door and put what wasn’t used in the fridge and heated it up the next morning. Really 😳 Not a way to run a hotel.

The lady that checked us in got me signed up for their points program. She also gave us directions to Grandma’s Kitchen restaurant and suggested the little drugstore next door. She thought we would like that sort of thing. She had a smile on her face and really cared about us having a great experience. I hope you take care of her cause she took care of us.

Everything was fine except receiving 3:00am wake up call when I asked for 3:30am wake up. Not good.

Service was great and easy check in. The room was very spacious and it was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We plan to stay here again.

Very spacious and comfortable room. Bed excellent. Full-sized refrigerator, cooktop, pots and pans, dishes and silverware all appreciated. Great service. I called the front desk for a shower chair, and it was brought and installed in less than 5 minutes. Allowing earlier than normal check in was greatly appreciated, as I was exhausted from my travels. I wished for a breakfast if some sort, but everything else was great.

The staff were not very friendly. Our room was a little dated and rough!!!

Unable to reach anyone by phone from 6:00 am until 1:00 in the afternoon. Sheer curtain on window was not attached at top and was hanging on floor. Other than lack of attention to room condition, the rest was comfortable. Great icemaker in freezer and good shower, but needs additional hand rails! Also toilet way too low to ground unless your a child. No breakfast at all, unless you want to buy an apple or tiny wrinkled mandarin orange

The room was really nice. The staff were friendly and parking was good. The coffee was really bad but there's a coffee shop across the parking lot.

Basic over night stay. Parking lot view, no breakfast offered. Friendly staff and clean room.
