Hotel is nice. When we stayed there’s only 1 elevator that’s working which makes it very inconvenient. The pool is so small so we didn’t even end up trying it. The shower could be cleaner.

I loved that we could see sunset from the pool and the Grasshopper game! it was great! Strolling to dinner downtown was also super convenient..and we found street parking with no issues!

A beautiful spot across from Grasshopper Stadium. The hotel is nice with accommodating staff, but the workout facilities and room are a little beaten around the edges. There is no shower soap in the dispenser, the rug is frayed where it meets the floor, grout missing in the shower stall, no towels in the gym, and the equipment is in non-working condition. Nice breakfast but doesn't overcome its many shortfalls.

This was a great hotel for what we needed. Spacious and clean. It always smelled clean no matter where we were in the building. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. The breakfast ladies kept things clean and always full and coffee hot and were just all around nice. We will definitely stay again if ever in the area.

The front desk employees working there were wonderful. If there was an issue, they would investigate and handle it. I wish I would have gotten her name.. but she was working so hard and remained so polite the entire time. All of the employees i encountered were so nice. The room was large and very clean. The area was very accommodating for me and my small dog. I felt safe taking my dog out for late night potty break. I really appreciated the dog release area at the front of the location. I will stay at this location from now on. Great service! Don’t think about it… just book here. You won’t regret it.

The room was fine. However, the bathroom more specifically the shower curtain was dirty and had multiple stains that looked like mold. In addition, the bathroom obviously had been painted or something and there were three spots were the paint was either peeling off or patched poorly.

Room had not been cleaned due to the biohazardous “object” my child found left behind by a previous guest. Clearly this room had not been cleaned due to the location and obviousness of the “object” had to move rooms after getting unpacked and settled, next day they turned water off 12-9:30 pm. Absolutely horrible stay. They did make things right with the first issue but then I couldn’t shower or flush the next day. Very disappointed because I travel every week for work and typically have good stays with Hyatt but this Hyatt in downtown Greensboro was far from ok!

We stopped in Greensboro on a long road trip and wanted a place that was secure, clean, and allowed dogs. We were really happy we located Hyatt Place and spent a night there. Is is well located and incredibly clean with spacious and comfortable rooms. The hotel and parking are also very secure. A bonus was taking our dog on a nighttime walk and seeing incredible live music outdoors at a nearby brewery!!

Overall the experience was great staying here. I would have given a higher rating but found that the cleanliness of my room could have been better. The toilet wasn't as clean as it could've been (scrub under the inside rim) and there was hair in the show that didn;t come from me. Overall good but could've been better.

The staff was nice and the room was spacious. I wish the cost of the parking was advertised, as i had no idea there would be that additional fee untili was checking in. The parking garage was horrible - could barely fit our van between the post and the next car. Horrible.

Checking my son into college. We stayed two nights. The front desk staff was very friendly. The cleaning staff was attentive. Had a great stay. The only thing that would make it better is to have microwaves in the rooms.

Awesome view and immaculate room. I didn’t know the baseball games were so lit I had a direct view of the game from my room and I was able to explore downtown and walk home safe.

They wanted to charge us $25 for an early check-in. I never heard of that before. The bed was very comfortable. My friend paid for our parking and they charged me too! I specifically asked them not to and told them that she was paying. Very frustrating!

If you want to stay in a hotel with amenities stay somewhere else. The front desk is friendly but that is where our experience with Hyatt Place Greensboro stopped working. It was downhill from there. Our room was spacious but needed renovations. There are NO USB ports on the walls or lamps, or even the desk, so be prepared to bring a an outlet brick if you want to charge your phones or laptops. There is no room service, or hospitality service so if you need anything you have to be prepared to go downstairs to get it yourself. The complimentary breakfast bar was pretty good, but watch out for a blonde kitchen staff. She sighed constantly around us and other guests when we were making our plates and made us feel extremely uncomfortable with angry glances. Maybe having a bad day. The tipping point for my husband and I was when we were drinking our coffee and reading the paper and without any mention or courtesy explanation, the kitchen staff turned off the restaurant lights! Breakfast ends at 10am, (and we were finished, but just relaxing with coffee and the paper), but it was 10:07am and some guests were still eating. We were gobsmacked. The least you could do is allow your guests to finish their coffee or for others their breakfast. It was incredibly rude. The hospitable thing to do would’ve been to say, “Hey, just so you know the kitchen is closed, but you can relax and finish your coffee.” For $264 we expected much more, and will never again choose Hyatt Place.

We arrived Wednesday evening. The bar staff, Ms Pat and another woman that worked Wednesday and Thursday night were excellent. We have the best customer service experience. I was so impressed. We were in town for college visits and selected this hotel. It far surpassed our expectations. The room was clean, the Southern Lady drink at the bar was excellent, the staff was friendly and engaged. We have booked another stay for August. Please in some way recognize this phenomenal team.

Location in downtown, near baseball stadium, is very good. Good breakfast, nicely presented, with many seating options -- outdoors and indoors. Most staff were gracious, thoughtful, and friendly. Have stayed there before and will again. Only negative thing we experienced was on Saturday morning. It did not reoccur on Sunday morning; at least not while I was eating breakfast. On Saturday, a staff member (perhaps head of House Keeping) was seated at a table near the front desk and in the bar/breakfast area with her radio on communicating regularly and loudly with house keeping staff. The front desk staff member also had a radio on as well. House Keepers radioed as each room was ready and clear for check-in. As things were announced on either radio from either end the communication could be heard throughout the main lobby and eating areas. With 2 radios receiving messages, each announcement was multiplied. In addition, the house keeping "manager" was eating at a table that appeared to be one that was supposed to be for guests. All of this was irritating, unprofessional, rude, and just plain noisy.

Very pleasant downtown location snuggled amongst modern apartments and across the street from the Grasshoppers ballpark. Nice Greek restaurant down the block as well as food at the hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms. Seemed very reasonable for a prime location and included parking. Breakfast was very acceptable and included indoor and outdoor dining areas.

Friendly, great staff. Very clean room. Perfect location with lots of good restaurants to choose from for evening dinner; all within walking distace. We went to a Tanger Center evening performance -- short walk from the hotel!

Terrible experience. Paid for a room with view and staff said they don’t have that yet I paid extra for it. Staff and front desk unpleasant and unhelpful. Breakfast next day was the worse of any hotel property I have been to. Out of coffee, eggs, sausage , french toast, plates, take out coffee cups. I am not exaggerating about this property. I choose this due to what was described and closeness to event. Poor choice.

This was the first Hyatt we had stayed at in quite a while. The location was great, it was nice having parking as well. The hotel was very nice, the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was MEH at best. It was not very good and it was not just me as many people were throwing theirs away. They definitely need to update that. The pots were so hot I burnt my hand trying to take the lid off. The large bowls of yogurt and fruit should be replaced with individual servings. Not a deal breaker, but definitely worth noting. The staff was very friendly. Also we had the option of checking in early but we did not realize there was a $25 charge until after we did it.

How do you call that a bar or a restaurant? No signs to say where or what the Placery was?! Certainly not a dining experience! Staff very inadequate with regard to making cocktails. Breakfast on Friday very sparse - better selection on Saturday

Great place to stay right in Greensboro across from the ball field. Pool was great! Breakfast was great, only downside is that the kitchen was not open so there were no food options and everything closes by 10!! Be sure to get food early.

We enjoy the view from the suits. This hotel is very convenient to all our family down in NC. The staff is always pleasant and very helpful. The only thing is the breakfast was disappointing this stay as the food was not refilled timely and if you weren't down early enough, most things were empty. All in all, this is a friendly, clean and welcoming hotel.
