Clean and spacious room with kitchenette and utensils, and even an ottoman, as well as a generous breakfast offering. While the area is not at an ideal location, we did not feel unsafe inside the property (entrances need card to open up at all times) and at this price (for Boston) you can't really complain.

Easy to get to. Close to Amtrak as well as Brigham & Women's. Modern furnishings throughout. Safe pull in for ride share. Quiet with some traffic noise. Good security to entry and rooms. Spacious. Amazing hot water delivery and huge shower. Will stay again.

Hotel is beautiful and rooms are modern and well set up. As to be expected when staying in the city, lots of noise at night and there is construction going on in the lot next to the hotel. There was the smell of marijuana in the hallway. The parking rate is quite high $55 per night- valet only.

Challenging to check in, small entry, no space to park temporarily. Not a good area of the city, locked front door and security guard. Bar experience poor, no food as advertised and help inexperienced. Definitely not small bites and craft cocktails!!!! On top of that, room rate was expensive.

The hotel is well maintained and very clean. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was large and well appointed for anything you needed. I rate this 5 stars and would stay here again. There are just 2 things that I felt could be improved. The bar was closed during our stay due to no bar tender which I wish I had known ahead of time. We had selected this hotel as a central location with the intention of family joining us to celebrate our daughters graduation and having a few drinks the night before but unfortunately we couldn’t do this. Secondly our bathroom was a wet room, the central drain was useless and as soon as you shower the bathroom fills with water that doesn’t drain away. The bathroom is somewhat unusable until the maid comes in to mop. Even using all our towels each day to mop the water up it wasn’t enough. If this bathroom was used for small children or people with disabilities I feel this could be a slip hazard.

This hotel and staff were amazing. It's a tough area in Boston, especially at night. The hotel security is great and the property is very safe. Really nice workout area, and breakfast was clean and full of options. If I were to return to this area again I would totally stay here.

Overall a decent hotel. Morning breakfast just ok but staff seemed to be overwhelmed with keeping up wlth demand. Coffee pots empty, no cups, charging stations empty. Property details says there is a bar in the lobby. That has been closed for a while. Our a/c unit didn’t work that well. Thermostat was temperamental. Room was hot or REALLY cold. While room was clean, it felt a little run down. Sofa fabric looked shabby and nicely appointed bathroom needed some deep cleaning in the shower area. Overall, we got a great deal on a nice hotel close, but not too close, to Northeastern and there aren’t a lot of reasonably priced places to stay in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would stay again. It was clean, had useful amenities (full kitchen, breakfast included, decent gym) and we found free street parking in a reasonably safe location nearby! The surrounding area was not so safe at night but was OK by day. Ruggles Orange T stop was convenient and a 15-20 minute walk in another direction enabled us to dine at interesting and good places.

Never was it mentioned that we would be charged 55 dollars a night for off street parking. The mattress on the pull out couch had blood stains on it. When I asked for it to be changed or to move me to a new room I was told the mattress would be taken care of by 12:00pm. I can back that evening at 9pm only to find the room was not serviced at all. When I went to the front desk a gentleman who said he was the engineer immediately helped us and took care of the mattress. The breakfast ran out of food and coffee all three days. Overall a terrible experience

The rooms are great and pretty comfortable. What's unreliable is the service. They clean the rooms each other day, okey... but every time I went back to the room after it was refreshed, it was improperly stocked (bath mat, soap, dishwasher detergent). More than once I found trash in the middle of the room (that wasn't left there by me). Breakfast was kind of a similar thing: they ran out of something silly like yogurt and it wasn't restocked for 3 days. The immediate area is not great, but there's a lot of public transport right across both streets, and even a shared bike station, and the orange line is not far. It was very easy to get around.

Hotel was very nice. Room was lovely. Breakfast was chaotic at times and often there was very limited options, as no fruit or yoghurt were left due to them running out. Most days there was only one gluten free option, Cheerios. No alternative gluten free options for bread, bagels or pastries etc. Housekeeping was intermittent at times and had to request that the bins were emptied and ask to get towels etc as we got missed a few days. Location was good in terms of traveling into the city, 10 minutes walk to train station. Great supermarket opposite hotel. Biggest issue was that at times it didn’t feel safe with the volume of people hanging around the corners by the hotel all day and night. Also Dogs can stay in the hotel and we were occasionally woken up by them barking.

The room was nice, but they were small bugs in the bathroom and the kitchen area. I had to kill bugs every day. The house keeping cleaned the room every other day, but the room floor was dirty. The male staffs were not too helpful, only the female staffs worked well.

I have been coming to this hotel since 2018. I have enjoyed this location and the amenities it offers. I love the kitchen and that it right across the street from a grocery store. Not the best grocery store but it works. I have noticed this year the rooms dont look at good as before, the bathrooms ceiling have crack paint, the wall paper seems to be coming off to name a few. I am not saying its not clean just need some renovations.

The room was well equipped with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, etc. We liked the convenience of the location, and always found parking on the street at night (just had to move by 10 am). Security seemed good, and you need a room key to enter in the evening. The one issue we had with the A/C. It was very warm in the room, and to cool it, we had to turn on the A/C (vice heat), which then blew on the bed.

The room was nice. Yet the pull out bed was the most uncomfortable thing to sleep on. The area was AWFUL! Having to see the strung out drug addicts directly across the entrance of the hotel was pathetic! As much as we liked the staff & room…we will NEVER stay here again.

I did a lot of research and ended up choosing Residence Inn. I love it—clean, offers free breakfast, and has excellent staff. The location is very convenient, right across from a food market. Most importantly, you can park on the street from 8 PM to 8 AM Monday through Friday, with almost no restrictions on weekends, saving you $55 plus tax and tips per day. Highly recommended!

Although the General Manager worked to resolve it after I mentioned it, whoever charged my credit card at the start of the day, before I was even there, miskeyed the amount, and maxed out my credit card... they realized it immediately and sent a credit. and then charged the correct amount. While the initial charge, and the second charge, and a subsequent charge for incidentals were processed quickly, the actual reversal of the charges took 5 days to process... it was my only credit card on me, and created quite a bit of havoc on my trip. Again, the manager tried to assist but the credit card company wasn't having it. So the little error of mischarging my card really put a clink in my trip. It was unfortunate. They upgraded my room, to a higher floor with a "view" and gave me bonvoy points for the trouble, which was nice. The hotel itself was clean and fine. Location was a bit challenging. Super close to the bus stops, but walking down the street at all, even in the middle of the day, met me with homeless and druggies. The "view" from the hotel was of the Boston skyline in the WAY background, but the foreground was a half-completed/renovated park with construction materials and equipment all over it. I came back to Boston 10 days later to fly out, and stayed at a different property.

This hotels valet system is horrendous. They gave my keys to another hotel guest and on another occasion lost my keys for 40 minutes. The hotel staff nor the valet staff seemed to care. Further, the valet staff did not check the assigned car number for valet parking when requesting a car. Additionally, the valet staff allowed any and all people into the hotel premises regardless of their guest-status. Not a great staff and really terrible experience with valet.

This property is located on the outskirts of the city in a very inconvenient location. We had a very unpleasant experience with the receptionist who could not be bothered. We were locked out of our room for multiple hours, while neither the maintenance crew or head engineer could figure out how to get us in - all the while sitting around in the hallway without even being offered food/drink/water. In the 3 nights we were there, despite directly telling the housekeeping staff to clean our room, it was never cleaned even once. This hotel tries to cut corners by trimming payroll - clean less frequently, maybe they hire low quality employees to pay them less. But I would not recommend this hotel.

We had an overall nice stay—until the last night, which unfortunately left a negative impression. We had opted for a room turnover that day and even reminded the staff as we headed out. After a long, exhausting day, we returned to find that our room had not been serviced. When I called the front desk to ask what had happened, the staff member told me she doesn’t control housekeeping—and then abruptly hung up on me. I called back to request fresh towels but received no answer, so I had to go downstairs in person. The front desk confirmed that I had been hung up on and then, surprisingly, told me to “learn how to talk to people.” We brought this to the manager’s attention the next morning. He was receptive and understanding, and I appreciated his willingness to listen. I’m hopeful that Marriott will address this situation appropriately. I’ve come to expect a higher standard of service from this brand, and I hope this was an isolated incident. An official complaint has been lodged with Marriot headquarters as well.

The room was clean and in good condition. However, the service was terrible. The hotel employees, particularly those at reception, were unhelpful. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I requested a late checkout the day before, but I didn't receive a response until a couple of hours before the original checkout time. Ultimately, I had to check out without an extension. The rear entrance near the bus station was out of order and has never been repaired. This was very inconvenient.

Great hotel and amenities. The kitchen was stocked with a full sized refrigerator, microwave, stove top, dishes and a dishwasher. Great for families. The location wasn’t the best, but not bad. A little south of the touristy parts of Boston, and about 1/2 mile from the closest Transit, but there’s a couple of bus stops just outside the hotel.

I arrived and checked in after 11pm but it was no problem, the colleague on the desk whose name I cannot recall (possibly Robert) was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was super clean, was very comfortable. The included breakfast was good, mixture of cereals, muffins, waffles as well as some hot options such as scrambled eggs and sausages. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel checked all the boxes except for breakfast. I am a breakfast person and look forward to eating breakfast every morning but the breakfast offered was so limited, repetitive and stale. I was beginning to wonder it some of it was just reheated. Even the fruits had seen better days. I was almost torture having the same things every morning. Unfortunately my stay was 8 nights and it was already paid for. It is a new looking and fresh hotel and the staff seems very nice but they need to fix the breakfast.
