Actually we would say this is a 4.5 stars hotel! Clean. Good location. Good quality towels. Free drinks included. Bathroom they even offer Friday entertainment night! Free movie at restaurant area. Overall. It's a good quality hotel. Would recommend. (Oh...don't forget to try the bakery store located right next to the hotel. Very good bread / pastry / breakfast...enjoy it before you start your trip in Osaka).

La habitación limpia y de tamaño aceptable. Los tés y cafés de cortesía muy recomendables. El área del restaurant/lobby muy cómoda pero la calidad de la comida en la noche muy mala. No hay bar completo (no hay cerveza draft, sólo botellas). El personal amable aunque con falta de criterio. Llegamos a las 12 y pedí agua (que tenían disponible como cortesía en el área de comedor, pero no me permitieron tomarla ya que la entrada al hotel era a las 3 pm.

The Royal Park Canvas - Osaka Kitahama is located right next to the metro station Kitahama. Its located close to other metro stations too. The hotel is very mordern and clean. During our stay, for two nights there were DJs and one night a live performance from a local singer. It was amazing. The had complementary tea, coffees till late evening. The hotel is located near Tosabori River, where we went for an evening walk along. It was beautiful and peaceful. I would definitely come back and stay here again.

Great value. Room was nice and spacious. Gym weights only went up to 20kg which was not ideal but can't expect too much from a hotel gym. Laundry machines aren't the best... whole load of laundry was still soaking wet after a long 2 hour cycle. Had to air dry everything back in room.

Great stay and amazing staff! They have a subway station right next door and that helps so much! I would highly recommend they improve their laundry service with more washing machines and dryers. Many people were waiting for others to pick up their laundry. I would also encourage they have more ironing rooms with the full ironing board. They only have one small ironing room per floor.

Excellent amenities!! Free glass of wine in lounge, free unlimited high end coffee, tea, matcha lattes in lounge. They had live music in lounge. Above a train station. Good breakfast! Also free skincare and face mask when you check in!!

I selected the hotel specifically for the gym facility due to medical condition that I needed to work out. But the gym was out of order and didn't inform customer ahead of time (or after reserved) . I informed issue but they did nothing. Sad & disappointed. Fyi, the baker next door was amazing!! At least one good thing…

We had a 5 night stay and really enjoyed our time at this property. Super well located adjacent to a subway station (which takes you to the Osaka World Expo) and above a convenience store. The 2nd floor lounge (where they served breakfast and food/beverages throughout the day, as well as DJ's on select nights) was perfect. There is also a small gym (2 treadmills, a rowing machine, a stationary bike and some.freeweights) which we used.

Overall our stay in this hotel was good however, parts of the room could do with some maintenance as there were some rather severe scratches on bits of furniture and bits of the wall from people's cases etc which could easily be remedied with a bit of paint etc. They do also have DJ sets on (noise was not an issue) but it seems you need to pay to go to the event even if you are staying in the hotel which seemed a bit strange.

Overall great service - Helpful friendly staff, room was regularly cleaned and made during our stay with fresh pyjamas provided daily! Good location, laundry available, facemasks were included as part of the amenities at reception which I thought was nice extra touch, room is somewhat spacious, hotel is close to the train station and convenient store (literally next door). We enjoyed our stay.

Hôtel un peu éloigné du centre mais plusieurs stations de métros dont une acollee à l’hôtel. Comme toujours au Japon vous faites votre vie, le personnel ne se soucie pas de vous en revanche il est présent et vous aidera volontiers et avec le sourire si vous le leur demandez. Niveau propreté et ce fut le cas partout, le ménage est fait à partir de 3 ou 4j sur place. Ils feront le strict nécessaire à savoir remplacer vos serviettes mais le grand ménage n’est fait que sur demande. Du coup en vérifiant que nous n’avions rien oublié nous avons vu des amas de poussière sous le lit…nous n’osions imaginer l’état de la moquette! Heureusement ils offrent des chaussons pour ne pas marcher dessus. Tout était fonctionnel bien qu’il s’agisse d’une petite chambre. Le petit déjeuner est bon, même si vous ne mangez pas salé le matin vous y trouverez votre bonheur. Le personnel est souriant et agréable.

Hotel is located right above the Kitahama metro station, so it's very convenient for travel down to Dotonburi and it's linked lines. My room was very clean and the soundproofing must be great, because I'm a light sleeper and I heard no noise on either night I stayed here.

Poorly designed rooms no consideration for luggages. We had room with three beds literaly no space for luggages. Travelled the world seen small rooms but nothing like this . Could have been a two bed and a third permanent ed was after thought.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Was mich sehr an dem Zimmern gestört hat war, dass das Zimmer (Comfort-Doppelzimmer) über KEINEN Kleiderschrank verfügt! Ich war alleine in dem Zimmer da ging es in Ordnung vom Platz, zu 2. wär es allerdings schon sehr sehr eng. Das Frühstück fand ich auch nicht gut, kann aber auch daran liegen, dass wir in Deutschland etwas ganz anderes gewohnt sind aber das sehr flüssige Rührei hat mich schon sehr abgeschreckt und ich habe einfache Sachen vermisst wie Semmeln und z.B Schinken. Sehr positiv war dass Wasser, Tee, Kaffee zu jederzeit gratis erhältlich war im Hotel. Was noch sehr gestört hat war die sehr niedrig gestellte Klimaanlage, in den einzelnen Stockwerken war es extrem kalt und in der Lobby musste man auch oft zum Pullover greifen. Positiv war auch, dass die u-Bahn Station direkt beim Hotel ist. Es gab viel positives aber auch viel negatives in diesem Hotel, ich denke nicht dass ich nochmal wiederkommen würde, da es viele alternativen gibt.

This was, without question, the worst hotel room of our entire trip to Japan. As a Platinum Hotels.com member, I was shocked by the substandard accommodations; I can only imagine what a 'normal' room must entail. The window offered a dismal view directly onto a neighboring building's staircase, forcing us to keep the blackout curtain perpetually closed. We endured three days without any natural light. Attempting to work was an exercise in discomfort, as the desk chair was barely 30 centimeters high, leading to unbearable back pain within 20 minutes. The 'closet' was merely a shallow recess in the wall, tucked inconveniently behind the bathroom door. On the sole positive note, the staff were consistently courteous

Comfortable place but the service was a disappointment. I arrived into Osaka late, though it was Saturday night with live music and bar still open. They gave me a complimentary drink voucher - good so far - but then when I tried to use it they pointed out it could only be used before 10:30pm. Why they’d put such a limit on it seems bizarre, it’s hardly happy hour, normally the bar would be closed at this time so perhaps that is why, but they were still serving and just refused to adapt

In the evening before the check-out date, I called at the reception enquiring if a packed breakfast can bb made available for the next morning because I have to leave for the airport in early morning. When many hotels can provide this as a matter of course but the male receptionist had just said ‘no’, refused directly and rudely.

I had someone banging on my door at 4am, I assume it was the person in the unit next to me. The toilets flush automatically and I guess he was angry about one flush (???) I have no idea, I was not making any noise... I asked the front desk to move me bc I didn't feel safe next to this crazy Person. I was told a manager would get back to me. No one every did.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, which made the experience even better. The location is also perfect — close to everything and very convenient for getting around. Location by metro station was convenient. Use Exit 1B if you have luggage on arrival as there is elevator to the street otherwise other exits from metro have many steps.

Lovely hotel, slightly away from the busy area but directly above Kitahama station so very convenient for getting around. The 62 bus stops nearby which takes about 10 mins to / from Osaka Castle. The breakfast buffet was good value at 2300Y. It was varied and plentiful with a good selection of food & drink. There were some nice local restaurants nearby including Lien which is great fun and just across the road. We had a triple room for 2 people which meant we had a bit of space and it was beautifully quiet. There were lots of extras included - pyjamas, slippers, a free drink every day. There were also some amazing free face-masks & beauty products - we looked 10 years younger after a 26 hour journey from the UK!

The hotel is located above the Kitahama station, making it so easy to get to anywhere you want to go - from Dotonburi to Kyoto, Kobe or Nara with easy connections. I disliked the breakfast options for the price but it was a must on some days because this area is more of a business area than a hotel or tourist area. I preferred this quiet neighborhood to Namba becuase it is much cleaner and quieter than Namba. My American sleep schedule had me awake and hungry in the middle of the night - so I went to the Family Mart and the Fresco grocery store in order to have some food on hand during my late night hunger. There is a deli that opens at 6:30 AM within .10 miles. The only challenge for me was the lack of early morning options for food but that has more to do with me than the hotel. I will ONLY stay at this property while in Osaka.

The room is small but still in reasonable size. You can see it is a bit dated from the walls. The staff is ok but they don’t know much English. The highlight of this hotel is the location, which is just next to the metro station and the metro line is convenient to go to most places like umeda, airport, kyoto etc. The area is safe and quiet, but it is not close to shopping if you like it. The breakfast is nice but they need to change the dishes very often, I stayed for 6 days and it’s a bit boring to eat similar dishes every day.

Do not book the breakfast. If you are from overseas and think the breakfast sounds like a good deal, it is not. The eggs were watery and the hashbrowns freezing cold. Food in Japan is actually really cheap. Even a family mart breakfast would be better and only cost like $6... the hotel in all other aspects was good however. The elevator always stopping at level 2 was a tad annoying and became a running joke

Really well located hotel for public transport. Quiet area. Comfortable beds. Good showers. On the downside, our room was much smaller than a room we had in Tokyo that cost the same (the throw pillows on the bed were just another object that we had to find space for and got in the way). The breakfast was OK but the choice was more limited than we’d have liked. Stay away from the scrambled eggs they were basically liquid. And the “toaster” is useless.
