We couldn't get a street near y to unload bags, all the streets had been dug up!! We had to park far away

It has a very convenient location there is a 24/7 supermarket around the corner, 3 places to eat and a bar. The place is super clean, beds are very comfortable, hotels.com didn’t mention it has a washing machine/dryer. The only bad thing about it is that hallways smell like grease from a restaurant nearby, and that it doesn’t have a parking.

The apartment was clean and accessible for city outings. Parking is difficult but manageable. Communication was awful. For instance, we needed more toilet paper and none responded to our email.

Amazing property in a great location. Super clean, modern, and new. Very nice size with all the amenities. The only issue we had which is completely out of the control of the property is they are doing a lot of road work right next to it currently and several of the roads you would normally take to get to the property are closed and not updated in the GPS. We were able to park a few blocks away and still get to the property which was not that big of a deal. Once construction is finished this will not be an issue any longer.

Clean and very quiet. They don’t have parking but we parked down the road for free. It was very easy to check in. Only issue I saw was construction around the apartments but that didn’t bother us.

Amazing suites, a fully functional kitchen it's like a jr 1 bedroom condo. We loved it. The main street around the hotel was closed and it caused us a lot of headache to figure out how to park. We always routed to Jorgensens Kitchen and parked in that lot after paying. Also instructions were not clear as to how to access the entrance. Once we figured it all out it was awesome. We would live here compared to any 5 star hotel. Excellent place with a fully functional kitchen where you can bake and cook. Loved the rooms and bathrooms! Fully updated and excellent quality. It's a 5 star quality property without any human interactions which would only be the downside. We had zero issues and a very comfortable stay! Highly recommend!

Great property. A lot of shopping and dining options around. Very well maintained. Parking is a bit of walk from the unit. There is no area to drop off luggage due to construction.

We stayed in a 3-1 which was perfect for our needs. We were on the 4th floor, so the street noise was fairly faint, though I could see it being a bigger issue on lower floors. Note that there is major road construction happening near the building so figuring out how to get there via navigation apps was a challenge (we ended up parking 2 blocks away and walking).

Access was simple and straightforward. Room was clean. We used the kitchenette for breakfast. There is a 24/7 market nearby where we bought foodstuffs. The outside construction made access a little inconvenient. Looks like the city was upgrading underground utilities. Good place to stay otherwise.

Popular day tour gathering points and public bus stops nearby (2mins walk), restaurants of different prices and a 24/7 convenient store just downstairs, safe, just 5-10mins walk to the rainbow street & church.

We loved our stay! Close to restaurants, shopping and grocery. Very quiet, easy check in and great communication from the host. The place was very clean, I would highly recommend.

Good location, looks like just remodeled ，looks like new, but little dusty, but they have big kitchen, I am very happy that, we can cook myself good food, when I come back into town, I like to be stay this apartment hotel again.

The lack of a microwave proved problematic during our first night because prior to checking-in, we were out and about trying different food in the city. As a result, we had quite a few takeaways we wanted to save for later only to find out our unit had no microwave to reheat them with upon settling in. I’m sure a larger unit might have them available, but for the smaller studio style apartments, be wary of takeaways. The other thing was the lack of an exhaust vent for cooking. We cooked breakfast in the unit but was worried that the smoke might set off an alarm. Also, we could only open one tiny window to let out the smoke. It got a little smoky in there at times while we were cooking breakfast, but it didn’t prove to be too much of an issue. Also, the exterior trash room outside the building was extremely messy and nasty and full of flies. We’re not sure how often that room gets cleared, but during our stay it was filled with so much garbage and smelled extremely bad. We did not like going in there at all. Other than these things, we would definitely consider Hlemmur suites for a future visit and we highly recommend them.

There was construction close to the apartment and also noise from night workers or party people in the early hours of morning. Very clean and comfy.

Place could use a microwave

I recently stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment suite in Reykjavik and was thoroughly impressed. The suite was spacious, with modern decor that gave the space a fresh and inviting feel. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to prepare meals, making it easy to enjoy a home-cooked meal after exploring the city. The bathroom was clean, large, and well-designed. The suite’s layout provided plenty of room, making it perfect for families. One of the standout features was the location. Situated right in the heart of downtown Reykjavik, it was within walking distance of numerous restaurants and attractions. Whether we wanted to grab a bite, visit a museum, or just stroll around, everything was easily accessible. Overall, Hlemmur Suites was an excellent choice for our stay in Reykjavik, combining comfort, convenience, and style. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

We rented the 3 bedroom apartment, with a kitchen and one bathroom. Very nice facilities, modern and clean. Could be perceived as almost a bit sterile compared to some hotel rooms that have art or a particular decoration, but I liked it. Easy and simple. We do wish that the kitchen would have had some more utilities, a microwave oven, more than 4 sets of cutlery, etc. If you plan on cooking many meals here you might get frustrated. The 24/7 store in the building right next door was very convenient.

No sheets, pillow cases or duvet covers provided for the sofa bed. While we understand that these things do happen, we were disappointed with the response to our problem. They do have a 24 hour help line but when we called in the evening to ask for bedding the person stated that they would call us back and never did. Therefore two of our party did not have pillows or blankets or a bottom sheet for the bed. No attempt was made to correct the problem the next morning either until we called again. At this time they seemed to know nothing of the issue. Poor communication, problem solving and PR.

Great location, top modern and shiny new appartment. Easy access with code recieved by phone. So satisfied with our stay. Information on how to operate TV (Chromecast) and wifi was missing, but phonenumber provided by mail was working on all requests. Good customer service!

Hlemmur is a very neat, clean and newly remodeled modern suite. It is self service, meaning there is no lobby to check in. You will receive access codes online, so make sure you receive them before your stay. We could not check in until late afternoon, so we had to rent a storage locker at the bus station and arrange for it to be transported later. This was a bit of an inconvenience so just be aware if you are flying in early in the morning. The suites are near a food court with a variety of great foods. It is a in a good location. It is a short walk to the harbor for aurora watching and shopping in town. Due to road construction and closures, there was some confusion with taxis finding us. We felt safe and very comfortable at Hlemmur. Communication with Hlemmur Suites was also very good with quick and helpful replies. We highly recommend it and would stay there again.

Unreliable, rude, unhelpful staff and shortage of towels. One staff said I can keep my luggage on the messages but that day there is no one who keeps my luggage. I called the phone. Another staff takes the phone, they can't keep the luggage and yelled at me that who is it( about keeping luggage). There are so many stories but it is too long story. Shortly l, they confused their policy and yelled at me but never apologizeed it. Lastly, I'm not a good English speaker. When I didn't undersatnd their speaking, they annoyed to me. I visited a lot of countries. No one has ever been rude to me for not speaking English fluently.

Great location, close to everything! Just a few steps away from Bus Stop 9. The apartment was nice, spacious, and clean. Property Management was very helpful, they responded promptly to emails if you have any questions or requests. Great stay and would recommend!

The apartment interior is new. It is a very stylish studio with all black kitchen cabinets & fittings. The bathroom is well appointed and efficient. Guest services were not flexible and a bit rude. The accommodations were very good, customer service not so much.

Very nice location at end of shopping district. Loved having space to spread out and 3 bedrooms was fantastic. Bathroom was very spacious. Only problem we had was limited toilet paper, and when we called to ask for more (1.5 rolls for 5 people with 4 nights stay), they advised would be dropped off next morning… and none was ever dropped off. Thankfully convenience store across street had for highly inflated price.

I would like to say that this was a nice place and well worth the money in very expensive Reykjavik. The directions to place were not clearly updated with current major construction in the area which was very frustrating. Even our local cab driver could not make out where we were staying. The television was not hooked up, and considering it was relying on client to use their own Netflix or YouTube accounts, it made for no service. When we contacted the owner we were assured someone would take of it first thing in the morning. Never done! So two nights with no TV…not earth shattering but part of the price of room. I asked for a price adjustment to accommodate for this and have been ignored. I guess they have enough business.

We stayed at Hlemmur suites in March and loved it. The location is perfect for exploring many of the great restaurants that Reykjavík city center has to offer and taking day trips during the day. The suites are newly renovated and have all the necessities that we needed during our holiday. With a nice view and neat design. Check in was quick and easy and everything was very clean.

We loved our stay, area is walkable distance from the bus stops and major attraction and downtown shopping center.

The location is ideal for exploring downtown Reykjavik. It´s located on a square called Hlemmur that is on the main shopping / walking street in downtown Reykjavik called Laugavegur. There are restaurants all around the apartment hotel and a supermarket across the street. There is also great burger place and a bar on the groundfloor. Everything was perfect, it´s brand new and clearly designed as more luxurious than I thought. I wished I had booked an apartment with ocean view and balcony. I will surely do that next time.

I loved my stay at Hlemmur Suites. The location is unbeatable. Situated in the heart of the city, surrounded by array of restaurants, bars, and art museums. Whether you're a foodie, an art enthusiast, or simply seeking vibrant cultural experiences, you'll find everything you need just around the corner. The apartment is super comfortable, great bed and every detail seemed to be meticulously thought out not to mention the beautiful view to the ocean. Also loved the super easy check in experience and the high ceilings. Highly recommended.
