The room was clean and centrally located. Bed was decent, shower pressure was good, and our room had a nice balcony. Host was communicative but signs to the property are very limited at the entrance. It would be easy to miss. Also, in Salerno taxis are a bit hard to come by to grab in the street but the hotel gave us the phone number and the taxi driver was very prompt to pick us up to take us to the train station. (And I know that’s not a hotel issue, but something to be aware of in general)

Communication with the hosts was poor and not very helpful. They did not answer our questions in a reasonable amount of time, leaving us to have to figure out a lot of things on our own. We never did see or meet a host, even though the booking site mentioned that there would be someone there. The entry system to access the unit was quite confusing. Quiet time was supposed to start at 10 pm. There were guests right outside our door using the kitchen and sitting area until 11:30. No soundproofing. On the plus side, the unit was lovely and we had everything we needed. The location was ideal, in the historic area, close to lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. However, due to lack of communication and host presence or availability, we would not stay here again.

Extremely good location. Room was standard for amenities. Couple of issues we had included the shower being broken and the window not fully sealing. The breakfast is nothing special and could be skipped for some of the cafes in the area. We also were not replied to very promptly (hours) by the host when trying to check in and out.

Underwhelming! Pictures are not representative of what you get. It’s a few rooms in a residential building in a decent neighborhood. Don’t spend the extra money on breakfast. You can get a much better one along the street nearby. The room is quite outdated.
