Casa Skouteli with Private pool

We had a lovely stay at casa skouteli. The house and the pool are clean. The check-in and check-out are really flexible and really easy. In a view minutes you walk to the beach, supermarket or nice restaurants. It’s next to a busy road, but we did not experience any inconvenience from that. To see more from the island a car is recommended.

The property is a great location from which to explore the West side of Crete. A car is required if you want to do more than sit by the pool. There are grocery stores and restaurants close by but the sidewalks are very uneven and somewhat hazardous. The house has two bedrooms and a pullout sofa. It comfortably accommodates four adults. Unfortunately, we arrived at the property at a time when the downstairs A/C was not working and it had to be replaced. The owner got the A/C replaced in about three days including a holiday weekend but it was very hot so it wasn't a great situation. We did have A/C units in the bedrooms. We also had a couple of issues with cleanliness as one of our party got a glass shard in their foot (we did not break any glass while there) and there was bird poop on the upstairs linens when we arrive. These issues were corrected.promptly, and the owner was very apologetic. The pool is lovely.
