I like the size of the suite; it’s big. Also, the hosts were quick to reply and provide what I requested. However, the AC needs an upgrade and maybe add more toiletries. Overall, a nice place to stay.

I tried getting ahold of hotels.com when we checked in. Very very disappointed it was a very hot week, we checked in to find that there is no air conditioning in the apartment and only one fan to accommodate. Even another fan would not have done any justice. We were sticky and not comfortable the entire time. Also stunk of old food. Unfortunately wouldn't go back. Maybe in the winter! Nothing against the owners. Just not the place for us.

Very clean and well-appointed property. Instructions were clear and parking provided. Walking distance to restaurants meant we could park up after a long drive and walk to dinner. Nice dining area in kitchen would have provided a comfortable space for enjoying a takeout, too. Friendly hosts. Highly recommend.

The owners were amazing easy to get along with and were accommodating, the place was spotless and there was lots of room for parking,the beach and water front was onlyv a 5 minute which was beautiful. I look forward to the next time we are in the area and staying there

Very clean and lots of space, I had unit 2 which is really a large 1 bedroom apartment. Very minor concerns are steep stairs to second floor, squeaky floors and there could have been more TP.

Overall the stay was wonderdul. Cleanliness was not so great. Used soap in shower, black hair in shower, front of vanity cupboards really dirty, dusty living room furniture, needed a vacuum as there was little hairballs around.

We loved how spacious it was and we enjoyed the quiet. The backyard was lovely. The owner lived on site. However, sometimes he was delayed in getting back us. It could have been cleaner. The carpet and couch needed to be vacuumed better(under the cushions). The bedside tables and dresser had quite a bit of dust. The smart TV had the YouTube app, but we then couldn’t get it back to cable because the exit command on YouTube didn’t work. Plus, with every commercial the volume jumped up to full blast and even after we lowered it, went back to full volume when the program resumed.

Was very happy with my stay. Room was clean and quiet. Maid service was there when we wanted it, but not when we didn't. Kitchen was everything we needed for the week to eat. All in all, very happy, and quite likely to return.

The property as a whole for the most part was clean and it was nice and quiet and there was a lovely restaurant within walking distance it was called Baccio Trattoria deffs recommmend! The bed was very soft and comfortable and we had a great sleep. The only thing there were a couple flies in the bathroom and there was a bug in the bathroom when we first arrived, I think that was because there’s a lot of grass and bushes around the area, not because it wasn’t clean. The other thing I would recommend is just making sure all the garbages are emptied because one of the garbages was not emptied when we first arrived. Overall it was a nice place to stay for our short trip it was conveniently located.

This was an amazing stay. This was tbe best, highest rated, cheapest property in the area. I booked it last minute due to weather and the owners were professional, considerate, prompt, helpful, and thorough. The place was great! So much larger and nicer than a hotel. Owners were very responsive and helpful! Booked a room for my special needs brother that was travelling alone and the owners helped me make sure he got to his room safe and sound. So convenient specially when arriving very late 10/10. Love the personal touch of dealing with real people and not call centre or robot.

The property was actually lovely. But we were caught in an ice storm that killed the power so we spent the night in the cold and dark and our food went bad. In the early morning we wanted to leave but an iced-up tree had fallen on my husband's car and another over the driveway. Insurance stated that the proprietor was responsible for clearing the trees. We tried for over three hours to send messages, phone calls and knocked on the owners' door with no luck at all. Meanwhile there was a family emergency up north we had to get to urgently. The manager finally emerged hours later, and yelled at me, saying he didn't think this was an emergency. He was rude, and totally absolved himself from his innkeeper's responsibilities. I was appalled and shocked at the unprofessionalism.

Firstly, this is not a hotel it’s an apartment building as registered with the City of Barrie. There is no sign out front or instructions on where to park. I received an email to offer a 5% discount if I booked directly with them. I sent feedback on my experience. At 0413 I received an incoherent message. I commented that this was very unprofessional and received the text below.

Mark and Steve were great hosts! Very responsive and super nice. The unit we were in was one of their smaller units and it was very clean and actually cozy and spacious at the same time and quiet. Definitely would go back without a doubt.

We stayed one night at Parkside. It was very quiet and relaxing, the bed and pillows were great. I slept better than I do at home. The last time we stayed at a hotel in Barrie, we had trouble sleeping due to noise. The location is convenient, walked to a grocery store (15 min), there were also lots of restaurant choices nearby. Overall we had a wonderful experience, will definitely be back in the future.

Friendly and helpful owner with great communication prior to arrival as well as on arrival. Large apartment with a comfortable lounge and dining area. Convenient for downtown and all shopping and dining facilities. Walking to and from station is possible.

Very clean and well-appointed property. Instructions were clear and parking provided. Walking distance to restaurants meant we could park up after a long drive and walk to dinner. Nice dining area in kitchen would have provided a comfortable space for enjoying a takeout, too. Friendly hosts. Highly recommend.

We stayed one night at Parkside. It was very quiet and relaxing, the bed and pillows were great. I slept better than I do at home. The last time we stayed at a hotel in Barrie, we had trouble sleeping due to noise. The location is convenient, walked to a grocery store (15 min), there were also lots of restaurant choices nearby. Overall we had a wonderful experience, will definitely be back in the future.

The property as a whole for the most part was clean and it was nice and quiet and there was a lovely restaurant within walking distance it was called Baccio Trattoria deffs recommmend! The bed was very soft and comfortable and we had a great sleep. The only thing there were a couple flies in the bathroom and there was a bug in the bathroom when we first arrived, I think that was because there’s a lot of grass and bushes around the area, not because it wasn’t clean. The other thing I would recommend is just making sure all the garbages are emptied because one of the garbages was not emptied when we first arrived. Overall it was a nice place to stay for our short trip it was conveniently located.

I tried getting ahold of hotels.com when we checked in. Very very disappointed it was a very hot week, we checked in to find that there is no air conditioning in the apartment and only one fan to accommodate. Even another fan would not have done any justice. We were sticky and not comfortable the entire time. Also stunk of old food. Unfortunately wouldn't go back. Maybe in the winter! Nothing against the owners. Just not the place for us.
