The staff at the Dog & Crook were excellent, very attentive and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the ensuite was also spotless with all facilities in good order. We ate in the pub and the curries we had were the best we've eaten in quite some time. Good choice of beers too. Breakfast was cooked to order. Basically, a great place to stay!

Room as described, excellent shower and hot water. All staff incredibly helpful and welcoming. Food options dinner and breakfast really well cooked. Especially the curry options

Pleasant location and the pub had a super selection of food. Good for a pint in the sun. Room had nice view over the fields. Bathroom had not been cleaned and had hair, along with other reminders, from the previous occupants. This let down the experience as then noticed other parts of the room being fairly unclean.

The room was clean, bright and very nice. The cold water didn’t work in the shower so it got way too hot, but otherwise perfect. The pub was nice too but we only had onddrinthebecause
