The hotels page says parking available. What they mean by that is there is one tiny lot and it's ALWAYS full no matter what. Which means you will pay for parking but there is no guarantee as to how far you will have to park away from the hotel. I traveled to the area alone with my son and ended up paying an additional $42 to park my car both the days i was there. Not only that i had to walk in the dark with my child back to the hotel from where we parked. Every single time i asked if parking had opened up i was told no the lot was still full. I did not budget for paid parking as they insinuated they had parking so that was a huge hit to the very limited budget i had. When i asked the lady where i could park i was told i would figure it out, there was nothing they could do to help. I spent over $500 on 2 nights here and had to pay for my own parking and walk in the cold dark with my child. That is absurd. And be forewarned that if you are not the front car pulled in for check in you will sit and wait. I waited in the entry for 40 minutes before i got to spend an hour driving around to find over priced parking. If i had known these things before booking i would never have booked here and i couldn't just not stay there as all the other hotels were fully booked in the area. 0 starts and a huge thumb down! The air conditioning and housekeeping is top tier though and for that they get a start.

Room was fine, staff was friendly, breakfast was good. Just be aware, parking is $20/night and is in a city surface parking lot, a block away from the hotel, and with no access control. The parking lot is well lit, and I had no trouble, but if I had known this in advance I might have chosen another hotel.

Please read! The hotel is nice. However, the parking lot is another story. It costs $20 per night. The lot is not secure and the hotel is not liable for anything that happens in it. Our room had a view of the parking lot. We stayed 2 nights. Each night we literally watched multiple cars being broken into. Like, watch a car pull in, someone get out, break into a car, then drive off. And not just once per night. Multiple times. The first night we reported it to the staff and they called the cops. But, I eventually went and sat in my car as no cops ever came and I sat there just watching cars circle in the lot, break into a car and pull off. It was pretty amazing. Luckily since I was sitting in my car no one broke into it. The second night, we watched cars pulling in and people getting out checking if cars were locked or not. When we came home after being out that night, multiple cars had busted windows and I assume had been robbed. So while the hotel is nice, and I didn't feel like walking the streets were an issue. You seriously need to park somewhere in a garage somewhere and not in the open. You've been warned!

Loved our stay! Loved the area! Staff was great! Only one elevator worked and that slowed everyone’s ascent/decent to their rooms. It wasn’t horrible but also kind of sucked. Breakfast was great as usual.

While the hotel itself was fine. The hotel provided parking was not safe and not monitored. My car was broken into almost stolen. I had a window smashed and wires pulled out from under the dash. We paid the hotel to park in this lot and had to display a pass. It was supposedly equivalent with cameras but that made no difference. The same night another woman staying at the hotel had a trailer stolen. I would recommend a safer location.

I liked this building and it seemed like a good area to celebrate my birthday, when we first got our room there was an issue with the cleanliness of the room (I won’t go into detail on specifics) but front desk quickly rectified it by giving us a different room along with a Starbucks gift card and they comped the parking fee. We were very pleased. Our new room was nice on a higher floor, the balcony had some decent views. Later in the night we ordered some Grubhub and our driver was lost, we were in the lobby and tried to ask a younger guy at the front desk for directions to help the driver, he wouldn’t look at us and kept playing on his phone, I was actually quite shocked to see how much he didn’t care about assisting us, it almost seemed like he was under the influence. The next morning we had breakfast and it was good, eggs, potatoes, sausage, oatmeal, fruit and waffles.

we checked into the room 325. There were no towels. The trashcan had not been empty. There was dental floss in the trashcan and there was a used rag in the shower stall from the previous guest in room 325. Unacceptable.

Our room was spotless upon arrival! Staff we over the top friendly and helpful. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip. Plenty of shopping and restaurants withing walking distance. Really fun area of town for sports fans.

We had a great corner balcony with an amazing view of the city. We enjoyed having our breakfast and coffee out there every morning. We were walking distance to many great restaurants and night life or you could hop on the street car right outside. Only 20 minutes from Arrow Head and within 10 or so minutes from Union Station. We had a great stay and look forward to our next trip.

Clean, spacious room, well-appointed, plenty of outlets for plugs and power cables. Comfortable bed and pillows, plenty of towels, nice personal hygiene items like shower soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion. Balcony was wonderful, though I did not use a lot due to cold snap. Appreciated having a mini fridge, until it froze the food I put in it. The temperature control was not set too high, but I ended up with cucumbers and leftover chicken frozen solid. Cheap coffeemaker with cheap filtered pods made tasteless coffee. Shower head was a tiny adjustable one, set up so high on the shower wall that I had to stack towels to reach it to adjust. Barely had any water pressure, no matter what setting I tried. Desk chair sat too low for height of desk, would have helped if it were adjustable. Overall a good spot, but fixing the shower issue especially would upgrade the experience.

we arrived Saturday, the 5th at 3pm for check in before our concert. The person checking us in, took my card for payment but told me my $456 room was not ready. Our concert was at 6, and we had not showered. We were forced to get ready in the bathroom, and had to go to the concert like that at 5:30, our room still not being ready. We checked in after the concert and were told that 3 of the 6 housekeepers had called out for the day. We've stayed at this hotel before, and am really disappointed. I chose a king suite with a balcony because I wanted to check in at 3pm, relax on the balcony (I'm 9 months pregnant ) and take a shower/nap before the concert.

The parking was expensive, but a well lit open lot. The staff were all friendly and competent. The main areas and halls and room all were clean and mostly fresh smelling (some cigarette smoke on the main floor, possible blown in from outside). We walked across the street to a great sports bar, and though it was late and dark, it felt safe. The breakfast in the morning had adequate options, but the eggs and potatoes were both pretty bad, and I’m not picky. The attendant was working hard to keep everything clean and was friendly. Breakfast by far was the least good part of the hotel.

Check in was quick and room was nice, however, our room was on a high floor (7) and at the end of the hall and was not serviced once for a 3 night stay. Reported a toilet leak so that was fixed while we were out and our hand towels and trash were left in the hallway all night and the whole next day. On day 3, Housekeeping stopped by at 4 pm while we were getting dressed for a wedding…. I told her we needed about 10 minutes and she never came back. We saw her jumping on the trolley at 4:15. Room was very noisy (not much sound proofing) and breakfast was very basic. Would not stay here again.

We went for breakfast at 8am and they out of coffee, orange juice,fruit, eggs, and bacon. we wait for over 40 min and the never bring eggs, several people complain at front desk of this, but people on the kitchen were not very helpful, if they know the hotel is full they should have extra help the n the kitchen Hundred percent

Very beautifully decorated and clean hotel!Our room with balcony was awesome! Staff was welcoming and helpful.The breakfast area was beautiful as well.Ample breakfast selections from mini omelets to make your own waffles! Juices,bagels,toast sausage.All served very nicely and hot in the spacious and clean breakfast room!Ample towels and hot water for showers in our room too!Would definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves in Kansas City again!
