Hotel was in a good location off the main shopping street. Most sights were walkable within 20/30minutes. It is down quite a steep cobbled side street, which could be quite lonely at night. The hotel is different. I found the bed too low and not very comfortable and it was strange not having a window. It has a big shower although the lighting in the bathroom is poor. The lockers are outside the rooms for luggage, you will need a one euro coin. There is not really enough space in the box to have your case and there is no where really to hang clothes apart from a couple of hooks. Breakfast is quite basic but adequate. Croissants, rolls, fruit, scrambled eggs, tomato’s and a type of bacon. Fresh juice and a coffee machine. The roof top terrace is quite nice to relax on when not sightseeing. I had read great reviews on the restaurant so booked this for my second night. I was really disappointed. I found the menu hard to grasp. You order your meat from the kitchen area, the cut and size and then you order sides with the waiter. I didn’t enjoy the starter which was mushrooms & bread served on a bed of coffee beans. The steak was nice and the accompanying green beans and black mash were ok. You do get 10%off the bill if staying in the hotel. I wish now I had chosen a restaurant outside of the hotel instead. The hotel was very reasonable for 3 nights but I probably wouldn’t stay there again

A very unique place to stay. The rooms were great. Really dark so excellent sleeping. The rooftop was a great place to spend an afternoon and the restaraunt was very nice too.
