If you stay at this hotel, your room will literally be in a windowless pine box about 10X12 with a private bath. However, the rest of what this hotel has to offer is quite nice. They serve a delicious breakfast in a large, well-lit room. The lobby is roomy and comfortable. What they call swimming pools are actually two circular unheated tanks 6 1/2 feet deep and about 10 feet across. The best part of the hotel is the staff--friendly, helpful and very adept at speaking English. I probably wouldn't choose to stay here again.

This hotel turned out to be a gem. Quirky full of character in a great location with great staff , would highly commend Felix in the bar restaurant. Facilities in this hotel made you never want to leave , rooms were basic but had everything you need.

Ok, it’s literally a box, a small box with very low overhead and if people are making noise in the hallway you can really hear it. But the bathroom/shower has plenty of room the staff are excellent as is the breakfast and the kind chef. It’s a unique hotel experience that I wouldn’t mind having again as the location is excellent.

It's definitely a place to stay in porto. Central to just about all you could want. But remember it is a box hotel, but saying that, one of the best I've stayed in. Most definitely would come back.
