Beautiful view of the pool and beach from balcony. While not in the heart of Phu Quoc, it was nice to be a short distance away in the quiet and was a cheap taxi to anywhere. Still had easy access to shops, atms, night markets. The hotel and surrounds were very clean and well-landscaped. Staff were very friendly. I had the half-board option and it was a three course meal either lunch or dinner. Food was delicious. Pool bar was great and foam party and entertainment for kids was great. Rooms were well-equipped and house cleaning was wonderful. Definitely recommend Best Western Sonasea.

The lobby makes a great first impression. Spacious, nicely decorated, helpful check in staff and clean. Our room was clean, stocked and had a lovely view of the grounds and the ocean. The landscaping and pool were well kept and the towels fluffy and clean. We managed to snag one of the covered day beds on the beach and enjoyed the day hanging out and drinking cocktails. They have bikes to rent so we went for a bike ride along the path that runs along the beach for several km so you can check out all of the other properties in the area. A couple of reasons for only giving it a 'good' rating: 1) given that it accommodates between 1k and 1500 guests, there are only about 150 pool and beach loungers. And several have no shade or umbrella. There are also several bean bag loungers, but again, they are not covered. Second, the coffee station at breakfast is located at the front door and always congested. The number of people standing in line waiting for clean cups and coffee was staggering. While that may seem insignificant, when you hear people complaining in several languages, you get it. Lol. Lastly, as a non smoker, it would be nice to have some designated "smoking only' areas, so the rest of us can breathe healthy air as we eat or meals and enjoy the property.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Best Western Sonasea for a month. We highly recommend this resort. The Best Western is in a great location. It’s within walking distance to the night market, which has some of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. The hotel is clean and modern. Ms. Thuy took personal pride in being our housekeeper. The Cview Sky Bar has beautiful sunset and nighttime views. We saw the green flash twice. Trong was a great bartender there, taking music requsts for us to dance. The beach was nice, only a short walk from the hotel, with plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. The two pools were always immaculate. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of foods, from traditional brunch fare to Vietnamese specialities. The staff was wonderful. At the breakfast buffet, Miss Vy was the first to make us Vietnamese coffee. After that, Mr. Thuong’s entire staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Mr. Rau & Mr. Hiep were also very attentive, often serving us themselves.

とても快適な滞在でした。ホテルでゆっくりすることを目的とした旅で宿泊しました。オーシャンビューの7階の部屋を利用。バルコニーは居心地が良く、ベッドからも海が見えます。プールも広く、プライベートビーチもきれいです。シャワーはちゃんとお湯が出て排水もスムーズ、水圧も問題無し。上の階で椅子を引きずる音は響くので、耳栓があると夜は安心です。朝食バイキングはベトナム料理、洋食、中華、ハラルが揃い、デザートも豊富で4日間飽きませんでした。夜は部屋にクッキーのお届けもありました。ドゥオンドンのナイトマーケットまでは、grabタクシーで15万ドンほど、20分くらいです。ドゥオンドンと比べるとホテル周辺の店の数はかなり少ないですが、徒歩圏内にスーパーもあり、ナイトマーケットもあり、おいしいレストランもあり、ゆっくり過ごすには充分でした。ホテルの方も街の方も親切で、安心して過ごせました。おすすめできるホテルです。

Our second visit here as we enjoyed so much last year. A great hotel with large swimming pool and other lagoon pools taking you down to private beach with good beach bar and lunch menu. Very well set out and beautifully landscaped. Walking Street is directly opposite the hotel providing several dining options from restaurants to street food. Also shopping stalls and even entertainment on Weekend evenings. Easy enough to get a taxi to Long Beach and other beach bars/restaurants. Very good buffet breakfast in the hotel. Location was good for families. Beautiful beach. Food was great. Free shuttle was a plus. Never understood how cleaning rooms worked. I was requesting a cleaning at 8 am and most of the time room was not cleaned till 4 pm even though they cleaned one room before or afer us or across from us ( this was every single day for 11 days in a row) sometimes our rooms were not cleaned at all even though we requested that service early in the morning. Cleaning quality was not good either, balcony was never cleaned in 11 days. Another thing we were not impressed was the line at the coffee machine in the morning and watering the flowers at the roof top or some balconies and dripping water on us while we were eating breakfast. I hope they improve this little things.

The property has its charms. The spa isn’t large, but the staff are great in particular, Hai and Trang . In terms of the front desk we are very grateful for the help we received from Quoc. The floors in our rooms weren’t very clean, nor were the floors on our entire floor, leading to our room and elevator. The staff in the restaurant are friendly. We had difficulty with one person who didn’t quite seem to believe that my daughter was under the age of 11 for the buffet. So that led to frustration. The next day, just to eliminate any issues, I showed our waitress her passport. Felt sort of demeaning to have to resort to that. We were at the main pool often and thought it would be nice if we could have had poolside service. Overall it was a nice stay. The balcony is a nice touch, especially to dry off wet clothing and the night market right across the street is nice to take a stroll, shop and eat.

Overall a great stay. The pool,beach and garden areas are outstanding. Plenty of sunbeds.There is a huge choice with the breakfast buffet but it is very busy at all the different times we went. Lots of dining options across thd road. Slight disatifaction with cleaning where something was wrong most of the 14 days we stayed. Small niggles - no bath towels,no towels. Robes taken but not replaced. In room dining trays (not ours) left in the corrider for 3 days before we asked for them to be removed.

We had such a wonderful experience here! From the moment we were picked up by the shuttle all the way to check out. The service was amazing! Everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a birthday in our group but didn’t let anyone know and yet they still surprised us with a slice of cake and a handwritten card. It was such a thoughtful gesture. I feel like the bathrooms could be a little cleaner, the corners and walls need a scrubbing. The hallways need some air conditioning and an air fresher since it was a bit stale. Overall the rooms were big and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had an amazing variety! The pools were great too! The beach was alright. There was some trash in the water but that’s on the guests for not practicing “leave no trace”. Highly recommend the hotel!

The hotel is good, no hot water. Staff at the Sonasea Beach Bar is extremely unprofessional, too many people behind the bar talking amongst themselves rather than waiting on the customers (both times I came here). One particular woman manager (daytime) creates a toxic environment for others. Several employees sneezing into their hands then continue to make cocktails and handling food. Overall, I would not come back because of this service.

I stayed over the Tet holiday, so naturally the hotel was full and there were a lot of children around. In saying this the hotel is designed to accomodate for children and it dose it well with pool access and game for them as well. All ocean view rooms have great sight lines of the waterfront and a nice sized balcony for two people to watch. I can recommend watching the sunset from the rooftop bar or the beach. Only one problem I encountered was the noise from the hall way, the walls between rooms are quiet so you will not hear your neighbours however once In the hallways you will hear the noise of bags and screaming children or yelling parents like they are in your room. Breakfast was a good selection of both western and Asian foods however recommend you go early to beat crowds. Can recommend this hotel!

Our first night we arrived we were out in a suite with no functioning air conditioning. We told staff right away because it was reading 29° in the room and it was so stuffy. They sent an engineer to fix it but did not fix anything in the end. After three attempts to fix it and several hours later we requested to be switched to another room. We asked to speak with a manager and we kept getting promised that they would make that happen but it never happened until I reached out to The hotels app customer service… All of a sudden they were able to get a hold of the manager and we were put into a new room within 30 minutes. We were asked by the manager what they can offer in order to make things right in our eyes. I suggested that because we lost out on our first nights plans due to the issues with the air conditioning, I suggested one free night at the hotels expense to make up for our plants having to be canceled for the initial night and the Manager said they will have to talk with the GM. The GM declined it which is disappointing because I thought it was a very fair request. In the end, we were switched to another room that was a slight upgrade in size.

We stayed here over the Christmas break and although the hotel was at capacity we could not fault it. The staff, especially Quin at reception, was extremely helpful and kind. No question was left un answered and the hospitality staff were amazing. We did not have to wait very long for anything. Would definitely recommend this place again. This is the third Christmas I stayed at this property. I must say, I think the service has slipped a bit, the staff at the front desk had limited English ability, and the quality of the Christmas Eve gala was nit as good as in previous years (no Turkey). That said, we still enjoyed the stay, great weather and good location make this an attractive option.

We stayed at this property for 1 night. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a great vibe to it. The included breakfast is comprehensive and tasty. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel our accommodation. What we thought was a more than reasonable situation to request an advanced exemption for a refund due to a very recent health diagnosis, we were surprisingly declined. This hotel is very nice to look at, very clean...but very dull. Its clinical in its presentation and it doesnt have much of the vietnamese culture included. In other words this hotel could be put anywhere in the world and it will fit in enough. Its also quite a distance from anywhere with character. Luckily taxis are so cheap in this country. The staff, i found to be okay but you will find much better hospitality elsewhere in vietnam. The island is definitely worth visiting and was the highlight of my trip.

とても快適な滞在でした。ホテルでゆっくりすることを目的とした旅で宿泊しました。オーシャンビューの7階の部屋を利用。バルコニーは居心地が良く、ベッドからも海が見えます。プールも広く、プライベートビーチもきれいです。シャワーはちゃんとお湯が出て排水もスムーズ、水圧も問題無し。上の階で椅子を引きずる音は響くので、耳栓があると夜は安心です。朝食バイキングはベトナム料理、洋食、中華、ハラルが揃い、デザートも豊富で4日間飽きませんでした。夜は部屋にクッキーのお届けもありました。ドゥオンドンのナイトマーケットまでは、grabタクシーで15万ドンほど、20分くらいです。ドゥオンドンと比べるとホテル周辺の店の数はかなり少ないですが、徒歩圏内にスーパーもあり、ナイトマーケットもあり、おいしいレストランもあり、ゆっくり過ごすには充分でした。ホテルの方も街の方も親切で、安心して過ごせました。おすすめできるホテルです。

Fantastic hotel in the perfect location with a market bustling with restaurants and shops right across the street. The beach at the hotel had super calm water, great for relaxing. Pool was wonderful too, warm water and a lazy river where you can enter in at many spots. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely beachfront hotel with a great location. Just across the street, you'll find a a few restaurants, and a night market, many of which offer delicious seafood. We really enjoyed the convenience of the location. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering a wide variety of options. However, we were less impressed with the dinner buffet. It didn’t feel like it provided good value for the price we paid. Overall, it’s a great spot to stay if you’re looking for a resort-like experience with easy access to dining and shopping. It’s especially suitable for families our group of friends.

The lobby makes a great first impression. Spacious, nicely decorated, helpful check in staff and clean. Our room was clean, stocked and had a lovely view of the grounds and the ocean. The landscaping and pool were well kept and the towels fluffy and clean. We managed to snag one of the covered day beds on the beach and enjoyed the day hanging out and drinking cocktails. They have bikes to rent so we went for a bike ride along the path that runs along the beach for several km so you can check out all of the other properties in the area. A couple of reasons for only giving it a 'good' rating: 1) given that it accommodates between 1k and 1500 guests, there are only about 150 pool and beach loungers. And several have no shade or umbrella. There are also several bean bag loungers, but again, they are not covered. Second, the coffee station at breakfast is located at the front door and always congested. The number of people standing in line waiting for clean cups and coffee was staggering. While that may seem insignificant, when you hear people complaining in several languages, you get it. Lol. Lastly, as a non smoker, it would be nice to have some designated "smoking only' areas, so the rest of us can breathe healthy air as we eat or meals and enjoy the property.

체크인하자마자 방에 들어갔더니 전에 묵었던 사람들이 두고 간 쓰레기가 치워져있지 않았어요;; 좀 쾌쾌한 냄새가 나긴했지만 수영장, 풍경, 걸어서 1분거리 야시장은 좋았습니다. 숙박에 디너쿠폰이 있어서 먹었는데 너무 별로였어요. 그냥 야시장에서 해산물과 돼지요리 드시는게 좋을듯요.

Breakfast was fresh and each day specialty items were different. Many options to choose from. Staffs are friendly and helpful View from the balcony room was amazing. Room was very clean and spacious for the executive suite

The Hotel has a good location and the swimming pool was very nice. But I have stayed at many 5 stars hotel and this hotel feels more like a 4 star hotel and not 5 stars hotel. The hotel room need to be upgraded and the training room and the food. Overpriced food at the hotel and bad Quality.
