I think the main issue is that the hotel appeared to cater for Germans eg almost all TV channels were in German. Even an English/American channel was dubbed in German!! When we asked we were told the setting could be changed and an hour or so later, told this was incorrect! Also the swimming pool times are ridiculous. Not available until 09:00 and have to be out by 18:00 - how ridiculous is that. The pool is not big enough for the amount of residents and subsequently each morning everyone hogs the pool area so there is no space to sit anywhere. The food was delicious and could not be faulted. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Sehr gutes Hotel mit gutem Frühstück. Personal freundlich mit einzelnen Ausnahmen. Super dass man am Pool duschen kann und die Koffer bis zur Abreise hinter der Rezeption aufbewahren kann.

Excellent hotel. Immaculately clean. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food very good. Breakfasts superb and terrific selection freshly prepared and cooked. Our room was very nice and the air conditioning worked well. Only downside for us was the pool, it's not heated to a comfortable temperature and the poolside area although very clean with enough sun beds just seemed to lack a holiday vibe. It could do with some refreshing and livening up a bit. This would not deter us from visiting again though as the hotel is terrific in every other way.

First of all, the address is incorrect. Street numbers have changed and fortunately a store owner was able to tell me about it because we couldn't find it otherwise. It's a very nice place with good amenities but you do have to scramble for on-street parking. Hint: rent a tiny car, much easier to park

Lovely hotel, clean, nice staff, comfy bed, good shower and air con. Amazing breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Nice pool but small and sun loungers far too close together but we weren’t there for that so not an issue for us.

The hotel was perfect for us. It was close to the beach and situated in centrum. Breakfast buffet was very good with everything that you could dream of. The swimming pool area was not very cozy but could be used. Very limited with sun in the pool area. The room was perfect, clean and very nice beds.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in a sea view room. The hotel is new and very clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast buffet is huge with anything you could want including custom made omelets. It's a short easy walk to a beautiful beach, Old town and tons of restaurants and shops.There is a market right next door that has anything you need. Occasionally we could hear some noise from the street but it was never that bad. Beds were very comfortable. It was a great stay and we would come back again.

Overall a good stay. Lots of ants in the room even though the room was clean. We stayed in the city suite which was huge but on the first floor and you could hear everyone coming up and down the stairs it was like they were in your room. Only blinds on a couple of windows so you were awake as soon as the sun came up. Fire alarm went off during the night. Full evacuation as far as the lobby then no clear instructions on where to go if there was a fire etc. not organised.

We stayed in the city suite which was huge but on the first floor and you could hear everyone coming up and down the stairs it was like they were in your room. Although the hotel looks very good, the publicity about a “city view” is deceiving, the view from our room was supermarket and an unfinished building. We selected that hotel thinking that we will have a view of the Old City…. Very disappointing

We logeerden op de bovenste verdieping in een soort penthouse. De kamer was fantastisch. Het uitzicht was adembenemend en er was de ganse dag zon op het terras. Ligzetels zouden wel een pluspunt geweest zijn aangezien het zwembad zeer klein is en er daar te weinig ligzetels staan en grotendeels in de schaduw.

This is a lovely hotel in Rhodes Town. Loads of restaurants nearby and local bars. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice for all tastes. The highlight of this hotel are the staff they are without exception friendly and appear happy. A special mention to the Chef who always looked out for me when I was looking for fried eggs.

The staff were friendly and caring. I was travelling alone and they were very helpful with any questions I had. Particularly on the last day when my airport transfer did not turn up, they organised me a taxi. I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel and room was clean and tidy. Food was great.

Easy walk to shopping, dining, sight seeing, ocean, ferry services and the old city. Flore at the front desk was welcoming, polite and efficient at all hours of the day and night!

The hotel is definitely understaffed. We arrived before 4 pm and there was only one person who had to leave the reception to help us with the luggage. We could not have any request fulfilled simply because one person for the entire hotel. There is a need in the DOOR for the bathroom for the minimum privacy, seriously! The hotel is decent and convenient located, great breakfast, incredible balcony with the view in the island suites.

We could not have any request fulfilled simply because one person for the entire hotel. There is a need in the DOOR for the bathroom for the minimum privacy, seriously! The hotel is decent and convenient located, great breakfast, incredible balcony with the view in the island suites.

Hotel was great, nice views, decent location. However the hotel failed with my wake up call request Or didn’t ensure I had woken up after I requested at 6:30am wake up. My grandmother had to call 10 times at 7:30am to make sure I made the ferry at 8:30am.

My stay at Rhodos Horizon City was amazing. The staff were polite, attentive and welcoming. The services was 10/10 and they went the extra mile to surprise me for my birthday. Could not fault the hotel itself and the location is brilliant. I would highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay in a sea view room. The hotel is new and very clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast buffet is huge with anything you could want including custom made omelets. It's a short easy walk to a beautiful beach, Old town and tons of restaurants and shops.There is a market right next door that has anything you need. Occasionally we could hear some noise from the street but it was never that bad. Beds were very comfortable. It was a great stay and we would come back again.

Veldig hyggelig og fint opphold. Renholderne, resepsjonistene og de i restauranten/baren var veldig hyggelige. Dersom vi hadde spørsmål var alle veldig behjelpelige. Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt i byen og i umiddelbar nærhet til både strand, båter for utflukter og restauranter

We did our homework and knew we wouldn't get a sea view in a standard room, in the middle of the city. The quality of this hotel more than makes up for it. The moment you walk in you're made to feel welcome from the wonderful staff, with a glass of fizz on arrival. The reception, foyer, bar and restaurant are tastefully decorated. The rooms are airy and kept spotless and we had clean towels every day. We had a mini fridge with a beer, two soft drinks, soda and nuts on arrival (they don't replenish). Breakfast is something else. They serve an amazing variety of food and drinks. Definitely the best Breakfast we've ever had in a hotel. The restaurant also served lovely food in the evening (we had fillet of veal, delicious). The pool area is nice with plenty of sunbeds. Due to the surrounding buildings some sunbeds only get sun for a few hours but people are always coming and going and we had a sunny bed most days in late June. The hotels best asset is the Staff. Absolutely superb every one of them. So professional and so friendly. Two nights a week cocktail happy hour is a must with proper cocktails. We will definitely be coming back, loved it.

The hotel breakfast buffet has lots of choice and is very good quality. We did have dinner one evening but would recommend you eat in the local restaurants instead. The hotel was very well located, near the beach and the old town. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very kind and helpfull. But, The pool was very dissapointing, small and squeesed one to another with no view at all. The breakfast was with mixed feelings. Fresh fruit and eggs. But the coffee was of poor quality as was the bread. Lack of fresh/good products. Too many industrial food with lack of taste.

Overall this is a very good hotel The location is one of its best assets with easy walking distance to Rhodes old town, the harbour, beaches and host of local bars and restaurants. The staff were all great and went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. Would have rated 5 but the pool was not heated and even though we had enjoyed a long hot summer, was too cold. Also pool area is small and overlooked by apartments or the hotel on all sides. The breakfast was plentiful and there was a good choice, however I think the quality of some offerings could have been better, i.e. all eggs, be they poached, fried or boiled, were hard.

We have just had a fantastic couple of nights here. Absolutely great value and quality! Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are very modern and clean. Very comfortable hotel the room and bathroom were very good. Restaurant good for breakfast but less so for dinner. However, there are a number of good restaurants nearby. The walk to the old city and all of its history is only 15-20 minutes.
