This was a cute boutique hotel in a revitalizing area of Santa Rosa. Staff were the most friendly I have ever encountered. Valet was super helpful and quick. The room was a bit small, but since I was solo, it was perfectly fine for me. There were a couple of cleanliness/upkeep issues, but nothing drastic. I did try to clean the dirty remote better and the coffee maker could use a cleaning as well, but the overall room was clean, comfortable and amazingly quiet. And the area was full of walkable places to eat and shop. Would stay again for sure!

I thought I would try because the reviews were so great and this place was spot on! - staff goes above and beyond to help and super nice - great location to walk to lots of restaurants and bars, parking is easy and have valet for a decent price that is hassle free. Definitely staying there again when in Santa Rosa

Fun, trendy, remodeled hotel in the heart of downtown Santa Rosa. Very walkable with lots of nearby restaurant options. Street parking was easy, with lots of availability. Rooms were small but clean and modern. Free breakfast was great. Excellent communication, they accommodated our 12:30am arrival time from San Farancisco. We’d definitely come back again!

I only stayed one night, but I know I'll be back. You walk into their bar area, which has been done up nicely. People were gathered for the evening and having a great time. Location is perfect, in the middle of Santa Rosa's fun little downtown. The room was surprisingly quiet, despite a restaurant basically outside the window. There was also a loud festival across the street the night I was there and didn't hear it at all. Bed was comfy too. Only downside was the achingly slow elevator, so I took the stairs. There is street parking, but you have to pay before 6pm.

Modernized historical building in downtown Santa Rosa- many walkable dining options. This was a very quiet hotel, very clean and comfortable.All staff very warm and welcoming. Our room did not have a comfortable chair but a bench for the desk. Nice lobby with wine bar and plenty of comfortable seating. Appreciated the continental breakfast. Valet parking was very efficient.

The check-in was quick and easy. Rhe sraff were friendly. I liked the look of rhe room, it was clean and neat and the bathroom was spaceous. However at about 4am, I heard water dripping in the bathroom. I thought it was the shower releasing. When I got up around 6am I stepped into a cold puddle on the bathroom floor and while I washed my hands at the sink, water dropped on my head. I looked up and noticed the ceiling was wet with water dropets forming around an access cutout.

The good: Staff was friendly and room/bathroom were exceptionally clean. Bed very comfortable. The wine bar downstairs was a nice place to unwind. Why I docked a star: housekeeping was uneven; sometimes i got a bathma, sometimes hot; sometimes I got a bar of soap, sometimes not. The sink had a faulty drain stop mechanism (I rigged up something so I could wash a shirt) and then I discovered that the sink had a bad leak when the basin was filled. I didn't want to deal with it and putting a trash bin under the pipe was an easy solution. The noise level was quite bad at times. Huge private event at the place next door kept me up as did early morning garbage/delivery truck(s), leaf blowers, random street noise. I'd seek a room on an upper floor near the back next time. The breakfast offerings were slim. Full-sugar yogurt, mandarins, cellophane-wrapped bagels. The little muffins were good but if you wanted fruit or protein you had to go elsewhere.

We liked the convenience of the location. It was close to great restaurants and shopping. What was disappointing was they had a problem with housekeeping and our rooms were not cleaned or refreshed during our stay. Every day we had to ask for clean towels and for someone to take away the trash. They even ran out of washcloths.

Carpet was dirty, visible spots would benefit from a cleaning or replacement. Property has a very unique feel, enjoyed the private small patio. Great location, good restaurant right next door. Parking was conveniently across the street.

Loved the staff and proximity to our race. Cleanliness was very poor! Elevator ! Stairwell and even rooms were below ave! Breakfast was fine. Coffee 4/5 days was weak! ( poor) Staff kind and considerate. Would book again

The staff was great!!! I'm not much of a TV watcher, but love to watch a movie when I travel alone. The TV system was terrible, noisy on-screen sound, odd navigation. Impossible. I couldnt even listen to the music channels. Most of the experience was just wonderful. I recommend updating the TV systems is all.

The staff at Hotel E is amazing. Everyone is helpful and friendly. The rooms are quiet, clean, and well stocked with all the necessary bathroom accessories. The downtown stores and restaurants are just a short stroll away from the hotel. Complementary coffee and a light breakfast are served in the morning, and there are tables and seating in the lobby area where you can enjoy a glass of wine, beer, etc. This hotel deserves a 10 rating and we well definitely stay there again when in the Santa Rosa area.

My stay at hotel e was terrific until I received my car from the valet & realized that they not only went digging through my center console but they stole some credit cards & left the center console a mess. That ruined the whole experience for me. I will mot be staying here again.

When we arrived at Hotel E we immediately got greeted and asked if we want to valet our car. The two men working valet, check in and bar are super nice, helpful and knowledgeable.

Location was great & staff very friendly. It’s a good use of a historic building & very walkable to many restaurants around. It was unfortunate that there was a small group of preachers using loud speakers right outside the hotel in the open area. Hopefully they are not there all the time, otherwise it’s not very pleasant

The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel location is excellent for a center to do wine tours and also has a lot of options for dining within very easy walking distance. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Only unfortunate thing is the park out front seems to be a gathering point for homeless people at all hours. For anyone not used to that, it can be quite intimidating to walk out when it is quiet, but that wouldn't be a reason to not stay here, and we will again for sure.

Stayed here for an overnight work trip and it was so comfortable that I didn't want to leave or wake up. Did wish there was non-dairy yogurt as an option for their continental breakfast but otherwise, location was perfect. I arrived on a Wednesday in May so I was able to take advantage of their farmers market which was right outside in the courthouse square so that was a huge bonus and a nice surprise.
