The staff are friendly and helpful. There is charging for our electric vehicle. I forgot a brita water bottle that was a gift from my daughter and they found it and emailed me so I could get it back. That action by all the staff meant so much. Great hospitality

The breakfast was very basic. The hot options were were kinda gross. The pool was cold and cloudy. Everything else about the hotel is very nice.

Beautiful suite and comfortable. Pool looked a little murky and no hot tub, so we passed on the water.

Nothing unique about the property, worn out facility. elevators not working❌ Soaps, tissues in the room, empty!!‼️ staff at front desk, not helpful❌ We asked for extra pillow, blanket, their response "we are out of blankets"⁉️ really?? a marriott hotel and out of blankets? Most hotels offer free laundry, its paid here. Bar - closed❌ we prebooked and paid, but still were given a room that wasnt as per our requirements and the staff was like yeah this is what we have‼️ so dont stay in this hotel unless you have to have to and have no choice❌❌

Pool was green and looked unclean. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was serviceable.

Beautiful room but. was dirty. Glass was not clean in the shower, stains on the walls, wipe marks all over the microwave and the carpet was dirty. The pool was green. Also the breakfast was cold and tasteless. We had to use plastic forks instead of actual steel utensils. Really? Never again.

I love that the kitchenette is usable, and there is access to BBQs and outdoor seating spaces. The pool is clean and salt water. The rooms are clean, functional, have enough space, and many things have been thought of that I find convenient. For example the desk is on wheels so it can be moved to whatever location is best. There is ample storage. The couch has a nice reclining option and there are many options for surfaces to use. This is now my preferred hotel to stay at in Brantford.

Great check in. We arrived early but our was ready so got to check in. Pool was cloudy and cool.

Took the family for a road trip to Brantford Ontario, this hotel was very clean, free breakfast, decent gym, it has a swimming pool and the room was very nice, with a small kitchen, free wifi. I would rate the property a 9.5/10; if I had to leave some feedback it would be that the pillows were very flat (being picky) and the swimming pool was quite cold, in fact I believe I discovered an Oprah singer in me I didn’t know existed. I would highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

Upon initial entry into our room I brushed by the dishwasher with my bare leg. I found it to be extremely hot. Opened the door to find it filled fill with pots, dish ware, glasses from prior guest. How disgusting! A violation of our sanitary expectations. It was so revolting that my wife nearly threw up upon this discovery. It felt like our privacy was invaded.

My children and I stayed at TownePlace Suites Brantford for what was supposed to be a two-night stay during a hockey tournament. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected. On the first night, as I was settling into bed, I discovered a silverfish right beside my head. This was unsettling, but given the late hour (close to midnight) and the fact that one of my children was already asleep, we had no choice but to stay the night. We decided to leave a day early due to this incident. I shared my concern and photos of the bug with the front desk person. She was very apologetic and saId she would be emailing the manager with rhe concern. She let me know he would be in touch on Monday. While I was only charged for the one night (as expected), my follow-up with the hotel has been incredibly disappointing. I called two days (Monday) after our stay to share my concerns, as by mid afternoon I hadnt heard from the manager. The manager assured me he would review my booking and follow up with a resolution, potentially involving a refund. However, it has now been a week since that conversation, and I have received no further communication. The manager has not returned my calls or attempted to reconnect as promised, which adds to my frustration. While I understand that issues like this can happen, the lack of accountability and proper follow-through from management is unacceptable. Given that we were staying for a hockey tournament, this added unnecessary stress.

Our bed sheets had not been changed from the previous guest. They had hair and pieces of nail clippings. It was so gross.

The room was spotless quiet , excellent shower

Hotel room was dirty and filty. Manager was rude and did not offer to clean the room when i asked. He was like i cant refund or help you the room is what is. Bed sheets had blood stains and bathroom tub filled with hair.

The breakfast buffet was quite good and offered a nice variety of options. The room was not properly cleaned when we checked in. The floors needed vacuuming, the faucets were spotted and smeared and we had to repeatedly request towels and face cloths as there were not enough provided.

Room is not clean in some hidden area. Entry area is sticky. House service is excellent.

TV not working, no hot water and very soft and uncomfortable mattress.

Perfect suite. The only things were tv image quality is not hd and the room’s A/C needs repair(noisy)

Only complaint was we could hear the roof HVAC units turning on and off during the night, kept waking us up.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. The only issue we had was, the fan did not work in the bathroom, leaving it steamy after a shower. Also, no cable TV in the bedroom, only local channels.

The property was nice and clean. Staff was good but blared the lobby music which also played outside the entrances and could be heard in our room at night when we were trying to sleep. The room was a missing ammentities. No hooks in the bathroom. only the pullout couch. If I am getting a suite I expect a chair in additon to the pullout couch. And the couch was so very weird! A blue cushion that was so hard was on one of the arms. And the mattress in the pullout couch had seen better days. Come on!

While quiet time was set for 9PM, there were hoards of kids running up and down the hallways being obnoxious and carrying on. This was well after 1030PM as their parents gathered in the lobby (presumably a hockey or basketball team). Tried contacting the front desk three times with no answer… my husband finally went down and asked them to do something about the noise. He was told they would send security up. Did not get any quieter and it was next to impossible to get into a deep sleep.

Pros: The staff was beyond exceptional and amazing. Different variety of breakfast choices daily. Laundry room on the property was a plus, due to staying there for a week. Check in was fast and smooth. Cons: There was dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, upon my arrival. I didn’t check in until 9pm, therefore, I didn’t even bother contacting housekeeping. Check in was a little different. I waited almost 30 minutes at the counter for someone before I just left the key in the basket on the desk, but I received a final receipt later. Will stay again.

The property was good. Check in was horrendous, they need 2 staff on the desk, or at least put up a notice like "back in 10 minutes" as example, if nobody available. The desk clerk had to leave the desk to attend to other matters, so we waited for over 10 minutes for his return.

I’ve stayed here in the past and all was great. This time made me change my mind about returning. We booked 2 nights through hotels.com. I had to cancel due to a family emergency. I understood I would have to pay for the first night. Hotels.com did call the hotel to advocate for me but without any success. I called the on duty manager to explain my situation. He was very short with me, said there was nothing he could do would keep the room reserved in case we changed our mind. At the time we were in the middle of a family crisis. I told him to cancel it completely as I did not want to be charged 2 nights. The next day I was shocked to get an email asking about my check in. The room was never cancelled at all and we would have been charged both nights. We ended up going the second night as my family member had become stable. The tv in our room did not work. We advised the same on duty manager of this at noon. We returned back to our room later in the evening and it was not fixed. No indication that anyone even tried to fix it. I called the front desk and they suggested we move rooms at 10:00 pm when all we wanted to do was watch the news and go to bed. We were compensated 20% which we appreciated but still an expensive stay. Not sure I’d come back and would probably choose another hotel nesrby which is less expensive. I do plan on speaking to the GM but I don’t expect much from them.

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. The only critique would be that there is no amenities around this location so it's ok for a short overnight stay. Also.. I found it odd that the bathroom in the room did not have an extra tor fan.

the breakfast was horrible, tasteless or over cooked and nothing was ever replenished you were lucky to get a croissant after 8 am. the pool was murky and cold the rooms were nice and clean

Very clean and good breakfast

Staff were friendly, property clean, rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing, everything was empty from coffee to eggs, had to ask them to fill it uo and by the time they did, there was a line uo, so had to wait a while to get food.
