We had a really nice stay, however it was disappointing that the pool area was closing at 22:30pm instead of 00:00am. Also think you should put the cigar and shisha area inside in the lounge as outside is very cold. Add Netflix to tv. Other than that the whole stay was great and my husband had a very good birthday.

The Cave was a great experience. Champagne on arrival and amazing customer service throughout. I booked a massage for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it. I believe her name is Olesea and I couldn't of been happier to be blessed with her presence. Warm, Comforting, yet also knew how to have a good laugh with us and it felt so organic. Please ask for her if you want a massage, as her massaged cured my headache and my boyfriends back pain (which he complains about everyday). The only Hiccup I would say I didn't like, is that the chef didn't separate the yolk from the egg when asked. My boyfriend hates yolks and my only request was to separate the two and I heard him refuse that request. Which I was really confused about as its such a simple task. I appreciate it's probably busy, but I felt like he could of done it, he was just being difficult. Other than that, my boyfriend and I walked away very happy with the experience and would return back again.

Amazing hotel , restaurants are fabulous. The food was outstanding especially in the firepit. Staff were wonderful. The hydro pool was lovely but it’s very small with only 4 day beds in there . But it’s a golfing hotel not a Spa so we were not too disappointed as everything else was fantastic. Thank you for a great experience.

We stayed at The Cave on Saturday night in a junior suite with balcony. Unfortunately, we were rather disappointed. The hotel is dated and is in need of an upgrade. It has a price point for amenities comparable with central London 5* hotels but it is a 4* hotel in need of an upgrade. Key points to note: 1. Spa was not operational on Saturday evening due to a chlorine issue. This meant no jacuzzi and no jet streams in the pool with extreme chlorine levels emanating through the hotel. 2. Young children running around the spa and hotel at gone 22:00 in the evening. 3. Staff are all generally nice but the majority are teenagers with limited service sector experience. 4. The room had stains on the carpet and we had to call reception for amenities in the bathroom. 5. The food menus are confusing with restaurants entitled Korean Cowgirl and courses called “the happy ending”. In general the food is American BBQ there is little to no Korean influence (with the exception of kimchi for £8) and the BBQ element is pointless as the smokehouse was not operational for the entirety of the weekend so in effect there was no BBQ. The food was just grilled or oven cooked. It should be noted that the price point for food does not represent value. Breakfast items range from £16-25 for a breakfast, comparable with places such as The Wolseley and the standard of food is not close. Overall a 2/5 for the cost.

Overall good stay, restaurant staff and cleaners were very polite and friendly. Very peaceful settings, easy parking. Loved the golfing range and price. Room was nice overall, modernised with electrical options for do not disturb, curtains, LED mirror, mattress and pillows were divine. Cleanliness (attention to detail) lacked at times, found a popped balloon under the seat upon check in, the drawers leather was peeling away and creaked whenever you opened or closed it, no toilet scrub brush, found hair in various places. Also, internet stopped working for like an hour one evening so couldn’t watch apps on tv. Pool and steam room area were well taken care of by cleaners, sweeping the water away and replacing towels etc. but the area itself is small, limited space to sit, in the pool there is only stairs to sit on other than 4 beds, jacuzzi bubbles very powerful so couldn’t have them on for long, under the stairs was quite rusty. Gym was small with limited facilities, but ok to go to in the morning when quiet. Forgot our sunglasses in the range area, they were not handed in to reception or the range staff unfortunately, so assumed to have been taken.

We stayed in September and it was perfect. we stayed in the spa for hours had a lovely relaxing experience so we was always going to go back there.. i then booked to go there for january after we had seen they had refurbished their spa area expecting the same if not better experience but unfortunately we didnt.. everything from the room to the food and the staff were really nice as our previous visit but was a massive let down to go into the spa and both the pool and jacuzzi were freezing cold.. the main reason we booked to go back was the relaxing break in the spa which we spent 6-7 hours in last time instead we spent about 30 mins in there before having to get out as it was too cold to enjoy.. definitely ruined our visit this time around as we was expecting so much more..

A lovely mini weekend getaway, which I would thoroughly recommend. Greeted in arrival with a glsss of Prosecco and room was ready!! Room was spacious but slightly lacking in storage space. Spa room is lovely but can get overcrowded so maybe not quite as romantic / peaceful as you want. Lack of hanging space (robes) in the Spa. Steam room didn’t feel like a steam room, unfortunately but that’s the only down side. Staff were attentive at all times, polite and made us feel very welcomed! Firepit is a must! Lovely food! Slightly expensive but I guess that’s the going rate for quality service. Would visit again.

The room was amazing and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. Food was 10/10, had to wait a max probably 10 mins for food each time. The service was just top tier. The room was so clean and tidy, and trust me the bed was so comfortable, you could literally just sink into it. Spa was so relaxing and quiet. You can order drinks to your lounger. The cave hotel was just the best stay. I wish we booked a longer stay ! Definitely worth every penny. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you The Cave Hotel.

Our stay was really nice. Staff were hospitable, facilities were great too. We had the best sleep on that mattress, we couldn’t believe how comfortable it was. Only let down was that the special requests for breakfast weren’t upheld, so we had to reorder and we needed a spare toothbrush and even though they were fresh from the packaging, the wood had developed mould - downside of the material used, I guess.

I didn’t like the room I was in. It’s was not clean to a standard to accept paying customers. The cream coloured carpet had black spotted stains which was disgusting. The shower had items from the previous person who stayed at the hotel which was nasty, this shows the shower wasn’t thoroughly clean. Hair strands noted on the chair from the previous customer. It wasn’t worth what I paid unfortunately. It’s a shame really, so much potential from what was advertised. Overall disappointing experience.

I went to the Cave with my partner for my birthday, prior to booking I was so impressed with the visual seen on Instagram etc. When I got there the heating in the room did not work. We had to call up several times to ask for assistance. We were eventually moved after 3 hours to another room with the same issue. I was utterly disappointed, room was unclean, some staff members were rude, heating didn’t work, spa was extremely small, room service food is delivered in plastic bags with no cutlery. During checkout I was advise to send an email to express my concerns. It’s been three weeks and no one has bothered to get back to me. For the price we paid we expected a completely different experience. I will not be booking to stay here ever again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to.

me and my partner had an absolutely amazing stay at the cave, it was our first time going away together and the facilities and staff especially made our stay unforgettable. the rooms where beautifully decorated, smelled fresh and were super clean. the pool facilities also where very hygienic. the lighting all across the hotel sets a calm layed back vibe. staff at reception where really efficient and helpful. we had a mean at the fire pit restaurant and everything was perfect, the food was great quality and service was seamless. absolutely worth the money, will definitely be visiting again soon.

Generally decent . Room had a few cobwebs around and a random Dorito on the floor but otherwise decent. We ate at the Korean cowgirl . Have been to the restaurant a few times. Good is always great but although not busy the service was slow and service charge automatically added which you can remove but in my opinion shouldn’t be set up this way to avoid embarrassing the people you are with if you decline the service charge . Staff were all very friendly tho
Generally decent . Room had a few cobwebs around and a random Dorito on the floor but otherwise decent. We ate at the Korean cowgirl . Have been to the restaurant a few times. Good is always great but although not busy the service was slow and service charge automatically added which you can remove but in my opinion shouldn’t be set up this way to avoid embarrassing the people you are with if you decline the service charge . Staff were all very friendly tho

I booked a stay at the cave hotel with my wife for a honeymoon. The room itself was amazing very spacious, nice large tv and bathroom was gorgeous. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only suggestion would be for the hotel to cater more to Muslims in regards to catering, having halal food options would be beneficial as we had to spend quite a bit of money on takeaways. Also accommodating to other areas such as use of the spa possibly being able to book for a specific period of time alone in the spa due to preference and privacy purposes

Very modern and clean hotel, very attentive staff too. But, everywhere is so dark. I tripped coming out of the resturant due to dim lighting and im not a fan of mood lighting in the bathrooms either. You can not touch up makeup or find your contact lens in my case... The outside signs are not great as we had no idea which door was reception and we had to ask at the Golf Shop. I understand that being called The Cave, the lighting was to suit the Hotel profile, but i was there for a wedding and wouldnt return as a guest as this is not my scene.

This is possibly my favourite hotel I've stayed in. From arrival to check out, it was seamless and the staff were wonderful. The bedrooms have lots of modern technology (giant smart TV, mood lighting, automated curtains) but still felt plush and luxurious. The bed is the best bed I've ever slept in, to the point my partner and I are thinking of buying the bedding for our room at home, and the plush carpet is a real rarity in hotels these days. The pool and spa area is small, but still has enough for a quick dip and relax, and is truly gorgeous. Our dinner at the Firepit was the best meal I've ever had in my life. The tasting menu was incredible, and I don't think I'll ever stop thinking about the Voodoo shrimp. The staff were wonderful. Friendly and accommodating. We are already planning our next stay here. Truly an incredible hotel.

Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. The food is very much American asian infusion and is fantastic. Not massively vegan friendly menu but they made the effort to cater for me. Everyone one was really friendly and nothing was too much of an ask. They also have amazing cars if you want to be chauffeured!

Overall good stay, restaurant staff and cleaners were very polite and friendly. Very peaceful settings, easy parking. Loved the golfing range and price. Room was nice overall, modernised with electrical options for do not disturb, curtains, LED mirror, mattress and pillows were divine. Cleanliness (attention to detail) lacked at times, found a popped balloon under the seat upon check in, the drawers leather was peeling away and creaked whenever you opened or closed it, no toilet scrub brush, found hair in various places. Also, internet stopped working for like an hour one evening so couldn’t watch apps on tv. Pool and steam room area were well taken care of by cleaners, sweeping the water away and replacing towels etc. but the area itself is small, limited space to sit, in the pool there is only stairs to sit on other than 4 beds, jacuzzi bubbles very powerful so couldn’t have them on for long, under the stairs was quite rusty. Gym was small with limited facilities, but ok to go to in the morning when quiet. Forgot our sunglasses in the range area, they were not handed in to reception or the range staff unfortunately, so assumed to have been taken.

Everything was excellent apart from the bed. The mattress was so soft and so uncomfortable I’m glad that I didn’t have another night booked. Everything else such as the food, the spa, the service was superb and I would recommend this hotel.

A lovely mini weekend getaway, which I would thoroughly recommend. Greeted in arrival with a glsss of Prosecco and room was ready!! Room was spacious but slightly lacking in storage space. Spa room is lovely but can get overcrowded so maybe not quite as romantic / peaceful as you want. Lack of hanging space (robes) in the Spa. Steam room didn’t feel like a steam room, unfortunately but that’s the only down side. Staff were attentive at all times, polite and made us feel very welcomed! Firepit is a must! Lovely food! Slightly expensive but I guess that’s the going rate for quality service. Would visit again.

The room was amazing and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. Food was 10/10, had to wait a max probably 10 mins for food each time. The service was just top tier. The room was so clean and tidy, and trust me the bed was so comfortable, you could literally just sink into it. Spa was so relaxing and quiet. You can order drinks to your lounger. The cave hotel was just the best stay. I wish we booked a longer stay ! Definitely worth every penny. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you The Cave Hotel.

The Cave was a great experience. Champagne on arrival and amazing customer service throughout. I booked a massage for my boyfriend and he absolutely loved it. I believe her name is Olesea and I couldn't of been happier to be blessed with her presence. Warm, Comforting, yet also knew how to have a good laugh with us and it felt so organic. Please ask for her if you want a massage, as her massaged cured my headache and my boyfriends back pain (which he complains about everyday). The only Hiccup I would say I didn't like, is that the chef didn't separate the yolk from the egg when asked. My boyfriend hates yolks and my only request was to separate the two and I heard him refuse that request. Which I was really confused about as its such a simple task. I appreciate it's probably busy, but I felt like he could of done it, he was just being difficult. Other than that, my boyfriend and I walked away very happy with the experience and would return back again.

Hotel had no atmosphere. Bar staff had no personality or warmth about them. Didn’t know what/how to make an Irish coffee! Firepit restaurant food was very nice but overpriced. Staff friendlier but again quite functional-messed up bill so we currently have 2 payments out and awaiting a refund of incorrect bill! Bar was closed by 11pm. No perks - no breakfast deals so all in all not Particularly impressed with our stay.

I went to the Cave with my partner for my birthday, prior to booking I was so impressed with the visual seen on Instagram etc. When I got there the heating in the room did not work. We had to call up several times to ask for assistance. We were eventually moved after 3 hours to another room with the same issue. I was utterly disappointed, room was unclean, some staff members were rude, heating didn’t work, spa was extremely small, room service food is delivered in plastic bags with no cutlery. During checkout I was advise to send an email to express my concerns. It’s been three weeks and no one has bothered to get back to me. For the price we paid we expected a completely different experience. I will not be booking to stay here ever again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else to.

Our hosts Alex and Chloe did an amazing job making our stay perfect and making it everything we wanted. We will definitely be staying at the cave hotel again in the future.

A very pleasant visit. Initial reaction was one of awe. We ate in the Korean Cowgirl and the food was amazing if a little pricey! The room was of ample size and the bed incedibly comfy. We put put Do Not Disturb light on the door but house keeping knocked once, left a card under the door and whilst we were playing golf, had entered and left cookies. Whilst their intentions were good, we found the Do Not Disturb light redundant. The hotel is very well presented and staying two nights, we got a real taste of the experience.

Trendy hotel. Only gripe was they gave me a receipt for £357 yet I paid £473 via Expedia. When I questioned this they said that’s expedias commission should’ve booked direct, I said I checked direct immediately before booking and direct was dearer. No one could explain the mystery. Did leave me a bit frustrated that I could’ve got the room for £357 make sure you shop around for this hotel! Oh and don’t be fooled by the pool pictures like we were it’s tiny in there we felt like sardines in a tin, no where to put our towels. They perhaps need to limit the numbers that can go in at anytime. Korean cowgirl food was divine and the bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. The sheets felt amazing!

Amazing venue with great service. We loved chilling on the deck having a drink watching the world go by. Food at the Firepit was delicious! We had the tasting menu and would totally recommend it. The beds were soooooo comfy! We will definitely return!

Amazing experience, very different which makes it more exciting and in the middle of no where, so very peaceful. Shout out Ryan for his amazing hospitality and customer service. It’s the small things like that make the experience much more better. Will definitely recommend to visit The Cave.

Overall good stay, restaurant staff and cleaners were very polite and friendly. Very peaceful settings, easy parking. Loved the golfing range and price. Room was nice overall, modernised with electrical options for do not disturb, curtains, LED mirror, mattress and pillows were divine. Cleanliness (attention to detail) lacked at times, found a popped balloon under the seat upon check in, the drawers leather was peeling away and creaked whenever you opened or closed it, no toilet scrub brush, found hair in various places. Also, internet stopped working for like an hour one evening so couldn’t watch apps on tv. Pool and steam room area were well taken care of by cleaners, sweeping the water away and replacing towels etc. but the area itself is small, limited space to sit, in the pool there is only stairs to sit on other than 4 beds, jacuzzi bubbles very powerful so couldn’t have them on for long, under the stairs was quite rusty. Gym was small with limited facilities, but ok to go to in the morning when quiet. Forgot our sunglasses in the range area, they were not handed in to reception or the range staff unfortunately, so assumed to have been taken.

Lovely hotel and grounds. Very comfortable room and amenities in the room. The spa was perfect for an early morning wind down. The Firepit and Korean Cowgirl restaurants served great food. Especially The Firepit. My only gripe was with the cocktails on the decking in the evening. London prices are fine if a mixologist is making them. The only decent one was the Lychee Mojito. Amazing venue with great service. We loved chilling on the deck having a drink watching the world go by. Food at the Firepit was delicious! We had the tasting menu and would totally recommend it. The beds were soooooo comfy! We will definitely return!

We stayed at The Cave on Saturday night in a junior suite with balcony. Unfortunately, we were rather disappointed. The hotel is dated and is in need of an upgrade. It has a price point for amenities comparable with central London 5* hotels but it is a 4* hotel in need of an upgrade. Key points to note: 1. Spa was not operational on Saturday evening due to a chlorine issue. This meant no jacuzzi and no jet streams in the pool with extreme chlorine levels emanating through the hotel. 2. Young children running around the spa and hotel at gone 22:00 in the evening. 3. Staff are all generally nice but the majority are teenagers with limited service sector experience. 4. The room had stains on the carpet and we had to call reception for amenities in the bathroom. 5. The food menus are confusing with restaurants entitled Korean Cowgirl and courses called “the happy ending”. In general the food is American BBQ there is little to no Korean influence (with the exception of kimchi for £8) and the BBQ element is pointless as the smokehouse was not operational for the entirety of the weekend so in effect there was no BBQ. The food was just grilled or oven cooked. It should be noted that the price point for food does not represent value. Breakfast items range from £16-25 for a breakfast, comparable with places such as The Wolseley and the standard of food is not close. Overall a 2/5 for the cost.

Went here for my boyfriends 20th and we had a nightmare! No space in the space as there is only 4 chairs to sit on. The food wasn’t pleasant at all and we waited 30 minutes for our drinks which came after our meal

Beautiful hotel. We were greeted by a glass of prosecco whilst we checked in. We had a standard room which was more than adequate in size and it has the softest bed and linen I think I have ever stayed in, the room had a balcony looking out over part of the golf course. We played golf and used the spa after which is intimate in size but well worth using. We ate in both restaurants and had breakfast on the terrace both mornings. The food is very much American asian infusion and is fantastic. Not massively vegan friendly menu but they made the effort to cater for me. Everyone one was really friendly and nothing was too much of an ask. They also have amazing cars if you want to be chauffeured!

Lovely comfy bed and lovely sheets - defo a place for a great night's sleep. Design of room not practical - no wardrobe, no drawers. No where to hang your towel. Spa very small, very disappointing. The fusion theme food does not cater for special diets. Ordered breakfast to room and it never came.

Trendy hotel. Only gripe was they gave me a receipt for £357 yet I paid £473 via Expedia. When I questioned this they said that’s expedias commission should’ve booked direct, I said I checked direct immediately before booking and direct was dearer. No one could explain the mystery. Did leave me a bit frustrated that I could’ve got the room for £357 make sure you shop around for this hotel! Oh and don’t be fooled by the pool pictures like we were it’s tiny in there we felt like sardines in a tin, no where to put our towels. They perhaps need to limit the numbers that can go in at anytime. Korean cowgirl food was divine and the bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. The sheets felt amazing!

A lovely mini weekend getaway, which I would thoroughly recommend. Greeted in arrival with a glsss of Prosecco and room was ready!! Room was spacious but slightly lacking in storage space. Spa room is lovely but can get overcrowded so maybe not quite as romantic / peaceful as you want. Lack of hanging space (robes) in the Spa. Steam room didn’t feel like a steam room, unfortunately but that’s the only down side. Staff were attentive at all times, polite and made us feel very welcomed! Firepit is a must! Lovely food! Slightly expensive but I guess that’s the going rate for quality service. Would visit again.

We had an amazing stay for my partners birthday. The little touches that the hotel did were so lovely. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Make sure you eat at the Korean cowgirl as it was great potion sizes and good value for money. The only thing I wish was a bit better was the spa, if it was a bit bigger and had more loungers.
