I've had great experience at B'mine Frankfurt and wanted to try Düsseldorf. Sadly, it was not the same. The check-in proccess was among the longest and most manual for us, being directed by receptionist to check in by self-service. The receptionist assisted us using the self-service tablets and printed out documents for us to sign... but it was the most annoying check-in among 20 hotels we stayed at during our 3 week roadtrip. The receptionist didn't really make us feel welcomed either. Our room was clean, but the lights in the shower was hanging loose by exposed wires. Didn't feel very safe finding that out while showering. Also the shower drained very poorly so after a short shower it was about to flood the room if I didn't pause my shower. The shower head looked damaged and was a big downgrade from the rain-shower in Frankfurts B'mine. The breakfast was decent but the complain is about the cleanliness of the plates and bowls... like half were wet and had dirty spots on them still. The scrambled eggs were dry. The concept with CarLoft is amazing, love it as a car person... but Frankfurt is a way better version of this. It's an OK stay in Düsseldorf for 1 night.

Lovely hotel very close to a local metro station & a rail line station ( both less than a 10 minute walk away) Very modern hotel with only negatives being the rooms are quite small so if you have big luggage you are cramped for space & also there is no safe or fridge in the room but that's fairly common in Germany Hotel itself is lovely with a nice comfy bed , good wifi & a nice hot shower Staff are excellent throughout the hotel

- Room type: Standard - Good points: * Excellent breakfast (plus, the view from the window is stunning) * Modern room * 24-hour access to the gym and sauna * Friendly and professional staff * Special requests were reflected well * Great views (Room facing away from the road) - Pain points: * Self check-in may be difficult for older guests (although one staff member is available at the front desk, check-in can take longer if several people need help at once) * Standard room is very small: it may be uncomfortable for those with claustrophobia or taller than 185 cm * There is a faint dripping sound from the toilet or air conditioner throughout the night, but possible to sleep * Room lighting is quite dark * Expensive (especially during exhibition periods)
