This hotel has nice wide open lobby with decent rooms. Room interiors are satisfactory in this budget and provides all needed. Its value for money. Gym was less than what I expected, very basic equipments are available. There is scope of improvement. There is baby swimming pool 4’ on terrace can not be used by adults. Hotel is located in a small lane , quite unusual for IHG brand. Initially it was very disappointing however GRAB services was effective.

The gym was nice because it was air conditioned. One of the two treadmills was inoperative for my 25-day stay, so I wish the had fixed it. The breakfast staff was friendly and professional. Housekeeping was above average. Overall, it was a nice hotel in a fairly decent location.

This is the second time that I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Pattaya. For those who wish to experience Pattaya's famous night life, the Holiday Inn Express is an excellent hotel for the following reasons: 1. The rooms are bright, clean, very modern, spacious and very well equipped. Each room has a safe, small fridge and complimentary toiletries. The pictures of the rooms which are available online are very accurate. 2. The showers are large and self-contained. 3. The common areas are modern and spotlessly clean. 4. The Wi-Fi is excellent. 5. The rooms are cleaned and the sheets and towels are replaced each day. 6. The daily breakfast, which is served between 6-10 am, is excellent. 7. The staff are friendly and helpful. 8. There are onsite laundry facilities which are very reasonably priced. 9. LK Metro is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Walking street is a short ride away on a 10 bath bus. However, for those travellers who wish to go to bed early or who wish to be close to the beach, the Holiday Inn Express is probably not a good choice.

The location of the hotel is on a narrow side road. I feel uncomfortable walking to the hotel at night as the road is not well lighted. Breakfast is nothing to shout about. It is very basic and every morning it is the same. So after 2 morning you don't want the breakfast as it gets boring. The pool on the 9th floor is like a tiny deep pool. Gym is small and basic too. Aircon in the gym is faulty and very hot and humid inside. Not nice to work out there

Fantastic hotel, in the middle of the very busy Soi Bukow, near to noisy bars and traffic but I didn’t hear any noise in my room. It has a compact swimming pool with loungers, so you may not find a free seat. The breakfast didn’t have many traditional English options but there are lots of other choices. The room was compact and the bed was comfortable for a good nights sleep.

Only good thing is Hotel is new and everything works. Room too small; WHY IS THERE NO DOOR ON SHOWER; means water all over bathroom floor. Parking area too small for number of cars; double parked all the way up driveway. Swimming pool is a joke; tiny; size of two bathtubs

Het hotel is niet ouder dan 5 jaar maar de kamers zien er alles behalve nieuw uit . De badkamer was nogal vies bij aankomst en de douch had leterlijk schimmel op de randjes zitten . Het bed was wat aan de kleine kant voor een tweepersoons bed en je hebt geen of weinig uitzicht en geen balkon .

The staff was great! Easy to walk to the beach front road if you want. Also, easy to catch a baht bus. I would suggest using Grab rather than waiting for a taxi. The breakfast was great and an awesome value for the price. The water is hot, nice pressure and the AC in the room is cold! That’s was all great. The only issue is the elevator is slow and there is a mildew smell in the hallway on the 2nd floor. Also a light mildew smell in my room if the AC is off. Other than that a great place! I would stay again.

Pros: location, breakfast Cons: Don’t give this property your credit card, use a third party website if you dare to stay here. The staff at this location try every way they can to charge you extra. First they claimed I was smoking in my room because they found two buts in a small bag in my trash, btw they went threw my trash every day, kinda weird. The thing is my room did not smell like smoke, these rooms are very small if I smoked the room would stink, I just didn’t want to litter so I put the butts in a small bag, then I got some dirt on a hand towel and they attempted to charge me to clean the towel, the towels at this property were old, holes and strings coming undone. It seemed as if they were trying to get someone to pay for new towels and it wasn’t going to be them. They also have you and your guest fill out a form every time you enter the hotel. It’s a guest liability form. The walls at this property are paper thin, you every word your neighbors are saying. The rooms are not as pictured on the web site, they do not have the small couch as pictured it’s a small cheap chair. I wouldn’t stay here again even if it was free. Nothing like having to argue every morning with the staff on your vacation. Look around this area 10 properties with in a five minute walk with same facilities for 30 percent cheaper.

We had requested for early check-in and reached the hotel around 11.00 am. They said they will provide us an early check-in but we had to pay 1000 Baht's per room extra. We reluctantly agreed to their demand as we were tired. However, after some time they refused to give us the room and informed us that there is no room available. Very Unprofessional! They also made us check out early at around 10.30 am stating that there would be no power in the hotel due to maintenance - the did not have adequate power back-up at all. Overall it was an unpleasant experience staying at the Holiday Inn Express hotel in Pattaya.

5/5 – Outstanding Stay at Holiday Inn! I recently stayed at Holiday Inn and had such a pleasant experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, the amenities were great, and the atmosphere felt relaxing and welcoming. But what truly made my stay memorable was the exceptional service from one of the staff members, Fan. Fan went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was incredibly kind, professional, and always had a warm smile that made me feel right at home. Good - 15 minute walk to the beach. Lots of dining options. Good breakfast options. Good internet. Nice pool & workout room. Baht Bus stops in front of hotel. Great air conditioning. Comfortable beds. Pretty good sound proofing of rooms. Bad - not the best option for family because women are soliciting business right outside. Pattaya is a party town & central to expat sexploitation. As a woman I’m not offended just wouldn’t bring younger children to this area. There are VERY strong odors that sometime take over the hallway & rooms. I believe it’s the plumbing but it’s strong enough to gag you it’s smells like urine some days and other days it smells like boiled cabbage. I don’t know if it can fixed because you smell it even stronger when walking in the streets. Yes, I would recommend this hotel. It’s in a central location, Amazing price and the few negatives are pretty much out of their control.
