Tru by Hilton Idaho Falls

We stayed at the one in Ogden which was amazing and this was such a disappointment. There was actually candy on the floor in our r room, amazing views cut the windows so dirty you couldn’t see and the least engaging staff I have ever seen. We won’t give up on Tru, but won’t stay there again.

I have to say the staff was great. We had car issues and didn’t arrive until 3am! Check-in went quickly. My husband said the breakfast was fine I slept in! We were only there less than 8 hours. Overall the hotel was ok for an overnight stay.

Hotel is neat and clean seemed very nice. Then the room was hot! I turned the air conditioner on and we went to dinner. Two hours later it was still hot and the air conditioner sound like a B52 Bomber taking off! I called the front desk and was told " sorry there is nothing we can do". I asked for another room and was told they didn't have any empty rooms. In the morning I went down to see about getting a different room for that night and the young lady was very sweet and helpful she told me they had several rooms available and was happy to move us. Crappy nights sleep and working 12 hours is not fun. I will say that the young lady taking care of Breakfast was friendly and made sure everyone had what they needed and kept everything Clean and stocked up for everyone even though it was fairly busy. Pool was cold but clean and the hot tub was very nice. Biggest problem obviously was broken air conditioner and dishonest workers at night. Also I received a text from hotel manager asking about our stay and I gave him all the information and never heard back! Guess the Manager needs to be trained by the Young lady working the front desk in the morning!

Everything was very clean. The room was very small with only 1 chair. Not bad, but just different than the norm. The breakfast was excellent.
