The pros: very clean bed and comfy. Breakfast was decent although a bit greasy. Cons: Our room was very small and in dire need of a deep clean and refurbishment. The walls, carpet and woodwork were dirty, tired and scuffed. We couldn't use the shower because of the foul smells coming from the bath when we ran the water. I'm glad we were only booked in for one night and will definitely look for another place to stay if we return to Stroud

We had a good experience. Staff was really lovely. The free cooked breakfast was really good. I would definitely visit again, that being said there were a couple of things that could be improved fairly easily if the staff was to read this: The room smelt quite strongly of bleach, and there was an automatic light in the hallway outside of the room, that would intermittently shine a bright light group the gap under the door all through the night.
