Hilton Garden Inn Kansas City Airport

My family has stayed here many times now and hotel is always clean and smells nice. Free shuttle to airport is helpful and the pizza restaurant is top notch and prices are great! Saltwater pool is always clean and a good place to entertain kids.

Nice place to stay, close to airport. Shuttle service was A FYI-Doesn’t run after 10pm. Uber from airport takes 10 minutes but few available at midnight. Waited over an hour for pickup. Hotel was spotless, nice little “store” in lobby for drinks and snacks. Bar was nice also. A all around for price.

The pool heater was not working when we stayed and they charged our card for parking when we were told it was free.

This hotel was great . Very nice.. comfy rooms . An Old Chicago restaurant connected to it.. great food!! It's a very quiet hotel.. you do not even hear the highway next to it!! The pool is nice.. salt water pool.. my granddaughter enjoyed it!!

Great shuttle service to KCI!!

Almost no parking (had to circle over and over again for 30 minutes before someone left). The restaurant/bar closed at 930. My room wasn't ready when I arrived after 4pm. There was a power outage the next morning at 7am that forced me to pack and leave three hours before check out.

Overall, this is a solid spot to stay near the airport. The bedroom was modern, fairly spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom comfortably fit two adults as we got ready. The hotel is nice and clean. It does not offer complementary breakfast and you must pay for it. The biggest we had was transportation to the hotel. It was a very busy Friday evening at the airport due to the Beyoncé concert, so there was difficult getting any peer to peer transportation. We called the hotel to see if they offered an airport shuttle and they said they did not have one for the hotel. Although it was 11pm, we saw numerous competitors with their hotel shutters still running (Marriott, Hampton Inn, another Hilton). Upon arriving at the hotel, we saw their shuttle in front. It took us over an hour to get any transportation to the hotel. This is a Hilton that is approximately 1.8 miles from the airport, so I would presume they target customers who are landing at the airport and need lodging nearby. As such, it’s reasonable that you would offer a shuttle for pickup on a Friday night.

Clean and newly renovated

Nice vibe. Sticky floors could use some cleaning and the shower was on a massage setting which wasn’t preferred with children.

Property is always clean, pool is nice, rooms and beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly!

The hotel was great, service was great, hotel bar was filthy. Table they seated us at was dirty, moved to the bar that was also dirty including standing liquid under the stools. Brought my drink that had a dried colored liquid drops all over it. We returned it to which the bartender just replied "ok". We took a lyft elsewhere.

Wonderful staff, eager to please. Room was super clean except the microwave. However they made it right by comping me several items of my choice from the concession area. My family always stays here when in town and this is the first time anything was amiss. Overall, amazing, peaceful stay. I plan to be back. We stayed here the night before my grandmother's funeral. The place is clean and the facilities are nice and so is the staff. But the air conditioner in our room was unbearably loud, and it was also just far too hot that day to be in the room without AC. I couldn't sleep at all that night because every time it kicked on, it would be like a jet engine running next to my ear. I'm not sure if it was just our room or if it is something for every room in the hotel. I suggest bringing earplugs or you'll regret it

The flashing light in the smoke detector was quite annoying when trying to have a very dark room before a bery earlyflight.

Nice clean and updated hotel. Would stay again. Needed to keep air conditioner fan on in room for thin walls while trying to sleep, definitely can hear a lot.

Everything was clean and as expected for our stay. We parked there and took the shuttle to fly out of KCI. The hotel manager called us on the second day of our vacation to tell us that a Kindle was left in our room. He put it in a lock box and we picked it up when we returned at the end of the week. Thank you to the staff for being honest and holding it for us.

The person working when we checked in was extremely rude and condescending to me which I did not appreciate at all! I don't know if he thought he could talk down to me because I was a woman or just because I happened to try to get into the second set of doors not realizing that they were locked and I interrupted his television viewing so he told me to get my hands off the door as he hurried back to the check in counter to press the button to open the door!! He literally yelled "don't do that" like a was a child!!! It was late, I was tired and had been traveling since 6am that morning and was too tired to drive 3 more hours to my home in Nixa, MO so decided I was safer to get a good nights rest and drive home this morning. He asked me if I had a reservation and I said yes. He asked my last name, which I told him and then rudely questioned did you book through a 3rd party? Like Expedia? Again I was taken back by his question and said "yes, I did, is that a problem!" His abrupt response was "no, I just wanted to know."! Why did it matter to him how I booked it? He's getting paid regardless of who I booked my room through right?? He said very little else as he handed me the room key. I had to ask if we could have 2 room keys. So even though the room was very nice, quiet and clean being treated rudely late at night after a long day of travel was very unprofessional and I don't think I would stay there again because I don't want to deal with that employee and his poor treatment

Front desk management could have been nicer!!! Rushed me through registration and I walked to my room feeling unwelcomed.

Great place to stay the night before an early flight. Check-in was a breeze. There's a walking trail behind the parking lot and it was very clean.

We did not eat breakfast, but our check-in was less than desirable. When we arrived around 6 PM, there was no one around to check us in. I waited at the desk for about 20 min. Finally, someone carrying a crockpot came in from outside and asked if I had been helped. I said no and asked if anyone was there? Finally, someone came out of the back, and he had a limp (don't remember his name) and said he had a bad toothache. I know because he mentioned it several times. Not to say anthing about his health but I could of cared less I just wanted a room.

The front desk staff member wouldn't allow us to purchase anything as the cafe even using cash because the system would not allow him to set me up as receiving merchandise, which I don't understand. He was generally unapologetic and it was frustrating for us as we arrived around midnight and this was the only food/drink option. Other than that the room was good.

Nice place to stay, close to the airport. There is an old Chicago attached to the hotel, and there are lots of places to eat close by also.

I, particularly liked the walk-in shower where the controls were far away from the showerhead. The location, just off the intetstate, was ideal for us. I also liked the every other day maid service. That makes sense.

We booked this hotel because it was close to the airport and offered a shuttle service. We flew in from LA to see the Dodgers play in Kansas City. It was only a 30 min drive to the stadium. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and updated. The food on site at the restaurant was also good.

Property is in excellent condition in a quiet area convenient to MCI. Old Chicago Pizza adjacent. Perfect location to catch an early morning flight.

Just an overnight for an early flight. The restaurant was very chilly, otherwise it was fine.

The breakfast was not free but was on the level of the free breakfast that most other hotels offer. At $11.00 a person it was far from being worth the price. Should have been offered as a free incentive like other hotels. This should breakfast should have been free. Tip, skip the on scene breakfast as it is a huge disappointment.

It was a good stay for Thanksgiving. The hotel is nice and in a food location for our needs. There is a 24 hour self service snack area and restaurant on site. Breakfast was expensive and is what most hotels offer for free (waffles, eggs, cereal). Pillows are very soft. Bed is comfy.

Nice location. I didn't like the fact that guests are being charged $11.95 per person, for a continental breakfast. The breakfast was very basic, and if there was special options, I would not be bothered.
