Hotel Serawa Alicante

Beautiful property, great staff and terrific location. Parking was a nightmare but that was the only drawback.

Pity they never had parking closer, but great apart from that

Clean but wouldn't recommend. Parking is not valet and garage is just a local one they send you to. No parking in the street in front to unload luggage. Laundry service was extremely problematic as we specifically said we needed it returned by the next night as we were leaving the following morning. Despite assurances by staff we were waiting for our laundry at the checkout. The staff seems to be one person trying to keep the ship afloat. Go elsewhere if you are looking for four star service. This place barely rates two. I know the rating for hotels is more based on the facility than service but still.....

Helt ok hotell men lite missvisande vid bokning då det är en kedjehotell och vi hamnade på den utan pool. Men när man bokar så visar det bild på pool!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is quiet. Location is good. Front signage could possibly be more visable. Would have been nice to have availability to tea or coffee in the room.

The Pros: very conveniently located in the heart of Alicante near the water and some of the city's famous attractions. No lack of things to do nearby or restaurants nearby and there's a stop for the bus that goes up the hill to the castle that's nearby, too. The bedding was also clean and the provided 2 pillows each. There is an on site restaurant and the validated parking for the hotel is not on the street, but not too far away if you have rolling luggage. There were black out curtains. Close to the beach and the Casino. The Cons: the toilet was wedged between a normal size vanity and the glass to the shower and even a normal size person would be pressed against the glass to the shower while going to the bathroom. The bathroom itself was a decent size, but two of its walls facing the room were frosted glass. The shower looked tired. The white walls of the room had been scuffed up and even had a sneaker mark on them (and some other unidentified substances here and there). At about 9:30/10 am on Friday morning (and perhaps every morning?) parked trucks lined the street and there was about 30 min-1 hour of truck doors slamming that would be a problem for sleeping at that time. There was no chair to sit in the room (or desk) so sitting in the room required sitting on the bed. There was theoretically a 12 Euro bottle of water provided (for 12 euros), but our room did not have one (just the sign saying that if one wants the water there it would be 12 euros).

Really nice hotel in the heart of Alicante, close to beach and restaurants, shops, buses. There is a parking if you bring the car, wich will have a discount. The rooms were modern, huge, mattress was very comfortable. The toilet was big and modern with all the necessary toiletries. The breakfast was tasty with healthy options. Will definitely come back :)

Very much enjoyed our stay. The room was beautiful, clean, spacious, and modern. The location was convenient, walkable to many sites and restaurants.

The location of the hotel is absolutely ideal—just minutes away from the main attractions, yet surprisingly quiet. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. On arrival, we discovered leftover drinks from previous guests that had leaked inside the mini fridge. When we tried to use the spare duvet from the cupboard, it had noticeable blood stains. We requested a replacement, only to find the second duvet was also stained—something one would not expect from a 4-star hotel. While the hotel appears relatively new, the in-room furniture such as the sofa and tables showed clear signs of neglect and were not properly maintained. Additionally, there was no iron provided, which was inconvenient. Overall, we felt the standards reflected more of a 3-star experience. The standout positives were the convenient location and the efficiency of the staff during check-in and check-out.

Great position.Generally a nice hotel but rooms weren’t cleaned as well as could have been.Hairs and crumbs on room floor on arrival so wasn’t the best first impression for the room.Also the room at the front of hotel was very noisy with the air con rattling away and noisy drains all night so asked to move to a quiet room which they did without any issue…Breakfast was good apart from getting locked in the toilet because the lock was faulty…Overall enjoyed our stay but could have been better.Great location tho.Close to the beach and everything so very happy with that

Dårlige dyner og klumpet puter. Luktet kloakk på badet, som trakk inn på rommet. Ingen nattbord lampe, måtte bruke lommelykten på mobilen. Kun en type brød til frokost som var Tørt og hardt , uspiselig. Klaget, jeg fikk da nystekt loff, min mann fikk ikke. At det hotellet har 4 * må være feil, føler oss lurt. Hotellet ligger i en bakgate uten sol og utsikt, eneste posetive var kort vei til Strand og Resturanter. Har bodd på hotell i hele Europa, men dette var dårlig. Aldri mer.

Kändes som ett nytt, fräscht hotell. Perfekt läge. Nära till allt. Sköna sängar och ett stort badrum, med jättesköna handdukar och toalettartiklar, för det som behövs. Det finns dock en nackdel - ingen stol/fåtölj att sitta i. Det saknade vi. Frukosten kändes spansk, och var helt ok. Inget överflöd, men goda, fräscha produkter.

Boendet hade ett bra läge, vilket var ett stort plus. Personalen var trevlig och gav bra service under vistelsen. Tyvärr lämnade städningen mycket att önska – det var väldigt dammigt och smuts från tidigare gäster låg kvar på golvet. Det verkade varken vara dammsuget eller skurat ordentligt. Sängkläderna hade dessutom fläckar som såg ut att komma från sminkrester. Frukosten var okej, men inget utöver det vanliga.

Stilig rom. Noe slitt. Døren til badet var ødelagt. Frokosten var god. Personalet kunne vert mer smilende og imøtekommende. Og det hadde vert fint om de passet på å fylle på frokost buffeten når noe gikk tomt. ( måtte vente på både juice og eggerøre)

La localisation de l’hôtel est super pour faire la ville à pieds ! Tout est neuf et assez propre ! petit points négatif c’est le bruit de la circulation et des gens la nuit mais sinon tout est top

Great location and very helpful staff. Modern, comfortable room (standard, 2307) with a good bed and nice common areas. No breakfast included. The air conditioning did not work, making the night uncomfortably hot. I was offered a new room for the last night, but it came too late to be useful. I was given a fan instead. A water station in the hotel would also have been appreciated.

Rent ig fint, men veranda uten stoler og det samme im rommet. Savnet en pult. Det damme i resepsjon området, inhgen stex om du må jobbe litt. Så vil vurderer det til ner 3 stjerner enn 4

Petit déjeuner très qualitatif lit confortable et très belle salle de bain Par contre, ni bureau, ni chaise, ni porte bagages dans notre chambre, juste un banc au pied du lit donc ok pour un court séjour Ce n’était pas le cas dans la chambre de notre fille, donc ne pas hésiter à demander une grande chambre… Les chambres sur la rue ( vue sans intérêt) sont bruyantes, privilégier plutôt celles sur cours L’emplacement dans Alicante est parfait

Vores første værelse var meget koldt, da den centrale varmekilde ikke var slået over på vintertilstand, og vi frøs om natten. Efter vores klage fik vi et nyt værelse, hvor varmen fungerede, men generelt fremstår værelserne meget triste og lever ikke op til standarden for et 4-stjernet hotel.

Very sanitised atmosphere. no character. Expensive looking TV, but most of the channels were not available, including no English-speaking channels. No flat surface in room upon which to place items.

Very friendly helpful staff. Breakfast adequate but needs good hot plates as the ones they have not effective food was cold . Spacious suite. Hotel centrally located

Nach probleme in der ersten nacht durch einen anderen Gast , wurde vom Management der gut reagiert und der Gast zum Glück vom Hotel verwiesen. Als wieder gutmachen wurden uns seitens der Hotelverantwortlichen ein Zimmer in einer wesentlich höheren Preiskategorie zur Benützung überlassen. Hut ab von dem Management , hab Fehler von einem Gast sehr gut wieder gut gemacht . das einzige was vielleicht verbesserungswürdig ist ,ist das eher spartanische Frühstück

Juan was very helpful and professional as our reservation upon arriving had been canceled by Expedia in error. He calmly assured us he would find a room. Not too crazy about the parking garage -a little hairy in a SUV!

Ubicación maravillosa, con fácil acceso a pie a todos los puntos importantes de la ciudad. El espacio es bonito, pero el servicio deja bastante que desear. El desayuno es flojo, tanto en sabor como en atención. El café no tiene gracia y la sensación general es que te están haciendo un favor. El primer día, el trato en el desayuno fue directamente malo, e incluso con cierta mejora en dias posteriores, seguía siendo poco profesional. La reposición del buffet también era deficiente. La habitación es simpática, pero sin nada especial. No hay una mesa para trabajar ni una superficie cómoda para colocar un portátil. Para ser un hotel de 4 estrellas, se parece demasiado a hoteles de cadenas básicas que nem siquiera tienen estrela — con a diferença de que aqui o preço é bem mais alto. No lo recomiendo.

Hotel correcto en pleno centro de Alicante La habitación que nos dieron al principio hacia el interior nos la tuvieron que cambiar por olor a desague. La que nos dieron a la calle sin problemas y mejor. Personal atento y servicial.

Great location close to ocean front and main restaurant and bar streets

The location is super convenient for exploring the city. Lots of nice restaurants nearby.

Good location. Hotel and breakfast are fairly basic and located in a narrow street. There is an excellent Michelin tapas restaurant close by which we visited twice. Also good situation for the Marina and airpiort bus route (Plaza del Mar). We did not visit a winery during our city break.

Hotel is located in a great area nearby many bars and restaurants. Hotel is quiet and rooms are as described.

Top Lage, alles fußläufig erreichbar. Schön- modern eingerichtetes Hotel. Größte Flop: Frühstück. Viel zu Wenig auswahl, teilweise kalte Warmgerichte. (Wenn überhaupt vorhanden). Eier werden maximal 3-5 Stk. zubereitet und hingestellt, Kaffee kann man nur beim Kellner bestellen. Brot gab es maximal 2 Varianten, frisch waren sie aber nie. Obst und Gemüse auch nur was sie gefühlt noch im Kühlschrank gefunden haben. Wir waren eine Woche im Hotel. So ein Frühstücksbuffet (für 25€/person) haben wir noch nie gesehen. Tipp für das Hotelmanagement: Verbessern Sie dringend die Qualität des Frühstücks, da es das Niveau des ansonsten angenehmen Hotels schadet.

Snyggt och rymligt rum. Väl genomtänkta detaljer och perfekt inrett, vilket är viktigt för mig! Rent och fräscht. Frukosten var väldigt enkel men det är ju inget som utmärker just detta hotell vid Medelhavet. Trevlig personal. Vi fick tillgång till vårt rum fem timmar innan incheckning.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay in the Junior suite. The location of the hotel is fantastic, close to the beach, dining, sights and transit. In particular we loved the young lady working the morning breakfast shift at the restaurant. She was super welcoming and remembered our drink orders from day one. The breakfast was very enjoyable featuring a lot of local items such as pan tomate and a traditional tortilla. The design of the hotel is stylish with a lot of great wood elements. Our room was spacious with a practical layout and a comfy bed. Where the hotel falls short is attention to detail in housekeeping and upkeep. We found an open sugar packet in our room’s coffee station, left behind presumably by previous guests. The toilet had no toilet paper hanging on the roll holder when we entered our room but we did find extra rolls under the sink. The shower needs a better design or seal. The positions of the shower head and the door along with a poor seal around the door ensure a puddle on the floor after a shower. To use Wifi you need to register with room number plus Instagram, Facebook or email. The latter feels completely unnecessary and 2/3 didn’t work. Serawa would easily be excellent if it works out a few of these links.

Dinner in Alasazon excellent

Bra frokost, Ikke spesielt stort utvalg, men alt var delikat og velsmakende. Vi var uheldig med været, rødt farevarsel, det var flom, og vanninntrenging også på hotellet. Heisen måtte stenge pga av fare for kortslutning, og det var masse vann i trappeoppgangene, men rommet vårt var tørt, og personalet var fantastisk, så led ingen nød.
