Useful location for a business trip, a short walk from a tram stop a few stops away from Messe and other key locations. Check in is automated and it seemed very efficient, though there was also someone there to help me when I checked in. They only had rooms with bunk beds left so that was fun. The staff member who helped me check in assured me that I wouldn't have to share with anyone. The room was basic but clean, though the aircon system was quite dusty. Climate control in the room was very configurable and I was nice and cool all night, which was essential in the hot weather. The mattresses were basic but perfectly comfortable. The pillows were just about the softest and fluffiest I have ever experienced - I kinda wanna ask where they bought them... The room did not have shampoo/conditioner or an iron/ironing board - I didn't contact the staff to ask about these, so I'm not sure if we could get them. The lobby is unstaffed during night time hours, so I couldn't ask in person. I think it would be useful to have a vending machine in the lobby selling toiletries and other essentials. The room had individual safes and a small wardrobe for each bunk bed. Rooms are cleaned every 2 days - the cleaners opened the curtains and switched the aircon off, so the room was very hot when I got back. Hot and cold drinks, pastries and granola were on sale in the morning in the lobby, where there's plenty of comfortable seating. Overall it was a good experience - I would stay again.

Really happy! My fiance and I just needed a 1 night stay to see Cologne while we are travelling Europe. Checking in was super quick and easy with the code to enter the hotel and the self check in on iPads to organise our room key. Can tell that a lot of thought has been put into digital self check in. The hotel and its operations have been really well designed. Did not use served brekky in the lobby in the morning (from 8am - 10am) however a vending machine is available at night for drinks including beer! Very affordable for 1 night. Bed very comfortable! Not fussed about 2 single quilts for the double bed. Towel warmer was lovely. Was very quiet, could only hear the odd ambulance sirens. Only negatives for me was the shower was not very hot, and very very simple toiletries. For the price for 1 night I was expecting more than just 2 in 1 body wash and shampoo. However I believe this is just because they are doing their best to be eco friendly Location isn’t amazing as it is on a main road with not much more around, however a 20-30 minute walk gets you to the train station and more shops.

The concept of this hotel is quite good, the 24/7 phone support solved most of the issues but a couple of notes, there were no extra pillows and when I enquired on the phone was told there are none in the restock cupboard and because there are no staff around to ask I had an uncomfortable few nights sleep. No milk with the coffee machine, lockers for luggage storage are very small and there is not enough of them. But with all that in mind its close to the underground transport maybe 3 mins walk and only 20 mins walk for all the major points of interest. If they could sort the issue with some of the most basic extras I would stay again.

A really cool hotel in a lovely part of the city, just 15 minutes walk from the centre which we always prefer, but make note of that. Great for confident travelers - app based check in / room keys, self service towels / amenities - didn’t see a member of staff our whole stay which is great for us but might not be for others (my parents wouldn’t coped for example!) Room was clean and loved the full window bathroom! Although even when froster you can see everything so if you’re not traveling with a partner maybe give this a miss. Great price too, would book again

Very nice area in the reception where you can sit at the tables and sofas with your own drinks and food. Note that there is no bar during the day - only a café in the morning. Our room was for four and the bathroom was lovely and big- very stylist. The room with bunkbeds was ok- but very very worn out compared with the rest of the hotel. But it was ok as we just slept there and then used the lobby. It was though very noisy as a lot of Young people had a party upstairs and as there is no staff nobody stopped it- and. The ac did not work and as the room was toward the big road we could not open the windows- and with four persons in the room it was very hot. But - in spite of that we liked our stay and it was good value for money

Liked the location, clean and tidy, air conditioning worked well. Large bathroom. Maybe needs a table/shelf in the room. Nice touch with the self service breakfast at a reduced cost.

Hotel itself is good value for money, with modern furnishings and a lovely cafe downstairs serving fresh breakfast pastries and coffee. We enjoyed the self-service aspect of the hotel and overall had a great stay. We did have a slight issue upon arrival with the cleanliness of our room, however, the property manager was fantastic, apologised and remedied the issue quickly so thank you!

Cool vibe at hotel, minimal staff but well taken care of. Only complaint is no parking on site, otherwise fantastic experience. Lockers to store your stuff are available until your room is ready.

Really good value for money - the room was stylish, as was the bathroom, with a comfortable bed. I checked in online which made it easy to use the iPad to get my room key. I took advantage of the lockers to store my baggage as I arrived in the morning. It really wasn’t an issue having no staff

Die Unterkunft war bis auf ein paar Mängel top. Fangen wir mit dem Check-In an. Hier lief alles reibungslos. Als wir auf den Aufzug ins Zimmer gewartet haben ist und wertvolle Zeit verloren gegangen, da es nur einen einzigen Aufzug für das komplette Gebäude gibt. Angekommen im Zimmer war alles auf den ersten Blick super. Auf den zweiten Blick ist uns besonders das Bad aufgefallen. Hier hätte ruhig mal wieder der Entkalket eingesetzt werden dürfen. Die Dusche hatte nicht nur ein paar, sondern echt viele Kalkflecken. Des Weiteren ist die Dusche beim benutzen sehr oft aggressiv geworden. Der obere Duschkopf war nicht richtig montiert, weshalb von der Decke direkt das Wasser raus kam. Die Handbrause konnte nicht richtig befestigt werden da diese ständig runter gekommen ist. Ansonsten war das Bad top. Der Rest der Unterkunft war weniger der Rede wert. Das einzige was bemängelt werden kann ist das die Räume alle sehr hellhörig sind und das die Straße sehr laut ist sofern man das Fenster auf macht. Wir würden das Hotel nochmals empfehlen wenn man mit einer 4er Gruppe anreisen sollte.

My fiancé and I had a great time at your hotel! The only thing we noticed is that the shower wasn’t really clean, or it’s just a little old. There was heaps of like scale build up that we managed to clean out and the shower head was a little broken! But otherwise all of the amenities and everything else was fabulous ! We will definitely book again

The interior of the hotelroom was perfect and the location is fine. The check in is online, so without any staff, that was okay. Unfortunately the hotelroom was quite dirty. The toilet seat was dirty, hairs in the shower, hairs on the bed and a dirty carpet next to the bed. We called to have an extra clean after arrival, but after that the same hairs were still in the shower... We did get some drinks and chips to apologize. Also we missen a little fridge, a water boiler and a little closet or something else to hang up your coat. I would not recommend this hotel for a stay longer than one night and/or if you care about hygiene.

Very clean. The quick and easy check in process was perfect as we were only staying one night. Room was small which was fine for us because we were not spending much time there. We appreciated the easy contactless system.

Absolutely no frills here. We appreciated the breakfast cafe, and the communal spaces, especially with the rooms being so tiny. Rooms lacking basic amenities - like a table - shower somehow managed to soak the entire bathroom because of inadequate shower screen. Rickety bed. But main issue was noise. Paper thin walls meant everything was audible - including neighbours in room above.

Enjoyed the space and the ease of entry without keys- beds were comfy and the bathroom facilities like rain head shower and towel warmer elevated the experience. Appreciated the hairdryer that actually worked and mirror lighting- felt like I could wash and dry my hair nicely. Thanks

The room showed signs of wear. There was marks on the walls and on the two small fabric seats. The shelf within the bottom sleeping compartment was also heavily stained. This was a shame, as we stayed the previous week in the same type of room and it felt new

Rooms are very clean and modern. Checkin not so straightforward. No reception. Next to a busy road so it’s loud, the rooms are also not well isolated so you hear every person walking past your room and the days we stayed it was noisy. It was overpriced.

Great room for a budget stay. Room was clean and comfortable, and very quiet despite the main road outside (good double glazing). Close to an underground station, and onlly 10 minutes' walk to Neumarkt - a big shopping area with a Lidl and Aldi. The "no staff" element seems a little odd, but the check-in worked well and there's a large, warm comfortable lounge area downstairs. WiFi is rapid. Only downside - linked to no staff - was who to contact with requests (we didn't have akettle in our room, for instance). Other than that, would definitely stay again, and will look out for more Koncept hotels around Europe.

I’d stay here every time I visit Cologne. It’s convenient for transport with a tram link literally across the road to the shopping areas (one stop) and the main hbf train station (three stops). The staff are scarce but the ones we did speak to were helpful and friendly. We arrived a couple of hours early for check in and they stored our bags free of charge in their secure office. The staff member even checked to see if there was a room available for us for a free early check in. Comfortable beds, all amenities you’d expect in a budget hotel room. Very clean and nothing broken in the room. We paid £250 for three nights and we definitely got value for money!

Great concept and idea with self-service check in. Comfortable beds and overall nice room. Great locatoon close enough to the main sites and cathedral. I would not stay again, only due to feeling disappointed in the customer service received during our stay. After just a few hours in our room, the roof was leaking through the light fitting leaving a large puddle on the floor. We weren’t given the option to change rooms and were handed a large pile of towels to clean up the mess. After contacting customer service again the next day and expressing our concern were we changed to another room. Staff were aware of the issue and were not apologetic at all. We explained our disappointment in the service received and overall experience however no follow up or compensation was given.

Really liked how it was self service, very easy, beautiful rooms felt so fancy. We had a small issue with our TV, emailed the help desk at 10.30pm and by 10.35 we had a staff member there helping us. Incredible.

There is no front desk attendant, and you need to have an internet signal to receive the code to enter the building the initial time. If you are traveling, be sure to have cellular service.

Went to Cologne for weekend. Bit of trouble getting into the lobby as had been text a doorcode, but it didnt work. Another guest in the lobby opened the door. There is no reception staff, a fact that's not clear from the front page of website. Couldn't check in, as was too early. The lockers will only fit a small cabin size bag, not a standard suitcase, again this is not mentioned on the website. There is no other storage. We left and came back once emailed received confirming room number. We checked in and created 2 door cards, which was hassle free. Got to the room and it hadn't been cleaned from previous occupier. We found a cleaner on the same floor and she said she would contact the management. Waited in the lobby, then a woman with a laptop appeared and assigned another room quickly. Why she cannot be at a desk in the lobby instead of hiding in the back I dont know. The room was nice, decorated well and was clean. No kettle though, just a coffee machine. Paid for a King size bed but it was twin beds. Couldn't turn the air extractor off in the bathroom. The breakfast café was ok, just sandwiches and pastries, coffee and juices. Reasonably priced though. Overall an average stay, just don't think the 'no staff' is the right business model in my opinion. There needs to be better access to all sorts of information. There is a tel number you can call though. Just not convenient. Hotel is near the U bahn, so made getting around very convenient, especially with KölnCard.

The app worked fine until the final night. We came back around midnight to find we couldn't open the hotel door. At this point the lack of staff did feel like an issue

Nos gustaron mucho las instalaciones , pero no había personal al entrar y hacer cheking en el hotel; cuando apareció una de las recepcionistas perfecto pero no hay personal para ayuda todo el tiempo. Imposible comunicarte si no sabes inglés o alemán, nada de español.

Check in gestaltete sich etwas schwierig da es über das Terminal nicht funktionierte und kein Personal vor Ort war. Nach 30 Minuten mit dem Callcenter telefonieren hat es dann endlich geklappt. Zimmer waren schön und hat alles gepasst für eine Nacht :)

This is a great hotel, with large comfortable rooms, comfortable beds, innovative solution and modern design . Love it and will definitely come back . But it is a no service staff hotell and 20 min walk from the central train station (hauptbahnhof) and Cologne Cathedral, which for me is a small price to pay for everything else the hotel has to offer . Highly recommended . Will definitely come back

This hotel is very close to one of the tram stations. You could walk to the main station as well. The hotel was clean and the rooms were sufficiently large enough.

Wat een super fijn hotel! Als je alle mails volgt met inchecken dan gaat het super makkelijk. Ik heb een parkeerplaats naast het hotel geregeld. Helemaal fijn. Hotel is op loopafstand van de stad (circa 15 minuten). Hele fijne bedden, fijn kussen, ruime kamer, nette en grote badkamer. Overtrof mijn verwachtingen!

We stayed at this hotel as we were attending a trade show in Cologne. The hotel is immaculate and a really good location - just 5 minutes walk from the underground station then less than 10 minutes to the centre - we would certainly stay here again

Otel temiz, hoş aksesuarlarla göz ehitap ediyor. zevkli bir şekilde döşenmiş. online check-in yaptık ve herşey yolunda gitti. hatta saat 14.00'de odamıza giriş yapabildik. u bahn ve otobüs durağı çok yakındı. katedrale yakın,otobüsle 2 durak, nezih bir semt. kahvaltı sandviç ve yulaf ezmesi şeklinde ücretli bir şekilde sunulmuştu. fiyatlar dışarıdaki gibi. 1 bardak sıcak su için 2,5 euro vermesek daha mutlu olabilirdik. odalara su ısıtıcı koymak çok şey kaybettirmez diye düşünüyorum. gecelik 125 euro ödediğimizi düşünürsek bu istek normal. odada twinbed, king boy yatak var yazıyor ama öyle birşey yok, iki ayrı tek yatağı birleştirmişlerdi. tek yatak yazmasına aldanmayınız. temizlik personeline sorduk onlar da tüm otelin yatakları iki ayrı tek yatak dediler.

El check-in lo tiene que hacer uno mismo, yo lo hoce online y no me sirvió para nada,cuándo lo hice en el hotel, creo todo el rato un fallo, a otra pareja que iba con nosotros le cambiaron el segundo apellido por el primero y tampoco pudo hacer el check-in. Al final por teléfono en alemán o inglés pudimos solucionar el problema lo cual nos costo 40 minutos. Las habitaciones son grandes y están bien, cama cómoda, baño grande. Lo que no supimos al hacer la reserva que las habitaciones las arreglan cada dos días por cuestiones ambientales. "Yo creo que hacer una cama no tiene que ver con el ambiente, lo de las toallas se puede entender" Se puede desayunar, pero no es buffet y te ofrecen poca variación, pero eso va por gustos, la persona que nos atendió es muy agradable. El hall del hotel es agradable, si quieres tomar algo hay una máquina de bebidas que tiene casi de todo, incluido cerveza a 2 €. Al alrededor no hay mucha cosa, pero el hotel es más céntrico de lo que parece, en 12 minutos caminando estas en una de las calles comerciales del centro. Y a dos minutos tienes el metro que te lleva hasta la estación central.

Beautiful hotel with everything we needed! The breakfast cafe was incredible and had great vegan options too. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Köln!
