HALLSTATT LAKEVIEW Apartments

We had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable, with a beautiful view and lovely scenery. The location was also very convenient, close to the bus station

The apartment was beautiful, much bigger than we had imagined from the photos. The man that greeted us was very friendly and helpful. He showed us around and gave us a welcome bottle of wine which was a nice touch.

We stayed at Lakeview Apartments with high expectations, but unfortunately we felt the price was far too high for what it offers. The apartment was clean, spacious, and the staff were friendly, but the overall value was disappointing. Check-in starts at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. We asked to extend check-out by just one hour and were told no, despite the five-hour gap before the next check-in. There is no air conditioning, fan, or mosquito screens, making summer nights very uncomfortable. The bathroom has a handheld shower but no curtain or glass partition, so the entire floor gets soaked after every shower. The property is about a 10-minute uphill walk from the ferry, which is difficult with luggage, especially for older guests. A paid luggage shuttle would be a great addition. The advertised lake view is only partial and, in our opinion, not worth paying extra for. One important tip for future guests: Hallstatt is beautiful, but most restaurants and shops close around 6:00 PM. Plan ahead and buy food for dinner and breakfast, as options become very limited afterward. Overall, we enjoyed Hallstatt, but we would not stay here again because the accommodation does not justify its premium price.

Great location - good beds - but shower was difficult to use ( no wall hook for shower). Could not find private beach…

The property could have worked on the outdoor landscape better . Ants were noticeable on the premise . It was a pricey stay . But, would not stay without a lakeside view . The bedroom did not face any mountain view as described . Only , over grown greenery is what we saw from bedroom window . The host treated us with a bottle of wine as a welcomed guest . Much appreciated .
