Comfy bed. From the moment you get to the property, the staff are fantastic. The pool area is clean and towels refreshed throughout the day. The restaurant is good and the bar lovely, with lots of spirit options. The rooms are very clean and modern and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was not too noisy.

Really lovely luxury hotel. Staff could not have been more helpful. Lovely pool and bar area, restaurant great for breakfast and dinner (didn’t do lunch, but did bar snacks which were great). My room was lovely and quiet despite being so central. WiFi worked great. Take the address as it’s a little tricky for rickshaws and taxis to find, but once you are there it’s easy to get rickshaws round Delhi. Walking to Connaught place is easy. Quick rickshaw ride to New Delhi station too.

There was no electricity in the morning for about two hours, generator was not working 😞 No landline phone options in the room to connect with front desk staff. Room was not clean properly. Overall not a good experience.

Clean and beautiful rooms, excellent staff- all the way from front to the back of the house, staff was excellent and did everything to ensure our stay comfortable. Breakfast Buffet is great. Airport shuttle available upon request (paid). Pawan kumar helped us. Everyone is exceptional and it’s a great location as it falls in middle of many sight seeing places. Thank you for the great service. Greatly appreciated.

Everything was absolutely great. The hotel is beautiful. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable, and the flooring in the room was very nice. The room is spacious and has everything you need to feel completely at ease. The bathroom is large, perfectly clean, and everything works very well. The service is incredibly good. I especially want to highlight Sona, Anil, and Satish, who were always attentive, kind, and ready to help with a smile. Thanks to them, my experience was even more special. I would definitely come back!

We got to the hotel after a long drive from Haridwar. Check in was efficient. They took almost 30m to bring our bags to the room, after 2 phone calls. The rooms are a good size, and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is small but comfortable. We had booked with breakfast, and had to leave early - so they packed us a to go pack. Lovely hotel, highly recommend- the only issue was the towels which need to be replaced- thin and off colored.

The room was small. But that’s not the main point. The bedside ‘tables’/space was very limited. Worst thing was that the shower area had just half a door - there was no shower curtain, so the water from the shower would flood the bathroom. I have to call out Sakshi for a great check-out experience. It was early in the morning but she was alert and offered to pack me breakfast the night before. So kudos to her for her efficiency and thoughtfulness. The hotel manager was very friendly and conceded to the bathroom flooding issue and offered to send up extra towels to block the water from flowing onto the main floor. In any case, given the price I paid (Expedia said it was a 5-star hotel, which it was not, and definitely not what I expected from the Taj brand) the hotel could have been better. I am fine with the quirkiness, but the price did not match the amenities.

Quite and right in the centre of the city, this hotel is a gem. Polite staff, very clean premises, extremely comfortable beds, very peaceful. The only problem was that they don't have an enclosed shower stall and therefore the water floods at the entrance of the bathroom after a shower. The cloth mats get totally wet. If they can put rubber mats there, the problem will get solved. Otherwise a fabulous hotel

Room was awesome, we had complimentary fruit and chocolates in the room. It was quiet, staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and plentiful, we were walking distance to many hotels and shops. There were a lot of street dogs and people seemed to care for them, give them food and shelter, not chase them away.

Stay at The Connaught was better than expected. There was never a moment I could not find somebody to speak to if I needed help or wanted my room to be taken care of. Checkin and checkout was smooth. Everybody in the staff right from the gateman to security to the servers and cooks were very helpful. I remember the names of two of the associates who I interacted with at the front desk - Harsh and Vibhor who were very helpful, humble and professional. Overall, any stay at a hotel is a combined effort of the entire team at all levels and I could see how well they were managing the property and experience of their guests. Kudos to the Hotel and their staff.

The Connaught’s team made us feel special from the very second we stepped foot in the lobby all the way to the moment Anil helped us put our bags in the taxi to catch our plane back home. Everyone was super thoughtful and helped us get the most out of our stay in Delhi. The rooms may be small, but it was plenty for us. They are cozy, very well designed and super clean. Location is also great, it’s a 10-minute walk to the subway station at Connaught Place and 20-minute walk to the railway station (careful for the tourist traps, some guys will try to start a conversation with you the second you step out of the hotel, unfortunately). Anil and Himanshu were the true heroes of our stays, but our gratitude goes to the whole team who worked behind the curtain to make our last week in India one to remember. We can’t recommend this place enough, we would go back any minute.

Staff was very moody. No “welcome to Delhi or welcome to Connaught”… not a smile in sight. It felt like an interrogation. Same lady at checkout - same attitude. (Sakshi) Rooms small, corridors dark, no ambiance… like a haunted hotel. Abysmal.

I arrived here on my birthday. Sona the receptionist was very friendly and thoughtful. She allowed us to check in early and prepared a birthday surprise in the room. The bed was decorated with balloons and Happy Birthday bed cover. A birthday chocolate cake was also presented. This is the best surprise I've received from a hotel. Really appreciate it!

Lovely slightly low-key hotel just off Connaught Place. Modest lobby but stylish in a good way. Formal but polite service. Slightly dated room but well-maintained and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood, and walkable. Fabulous buffet breakfast. Booked a return trip since I liked it.
