The hotel is within walking distance from the airport but quiet. Pros: The breakfast with a full range of food is very tasty. Parking is straightforward: a flat rate for the entire day, regardless of how often you enter and exit. The staff is fantastic and helpful. Location: right in the middle of everything. We bought snacks from C-Mart, 5 minutes' driving distance. Cons: Laundry. Otherwise, we were very pleased with our stay, and we definitely recommend it for families.

Convenient to airport- literally a safe walking distance. Clean. Quiet. Modern lobby. Beautiful pool. Ordered from bar- good food; decent drink. Some distance from everything else other than the airport, but comparatively speaking, given that the island is small and nothing is technically “far” . I would stay here again, for sure.

After deciding to extend our stay 1 night because of excellent weather, we checked into Hyatt Place and were Very upset to learn the pool was closed and under construction. Being on the property with children and nothing to do was a complete waste of time and money. Should have just left on Monday.

Staff was wonderful. Rooms are very large, clean, and spacious. Continental breakfast has a large variety of items and is hands down the best I’ve had. Disappointing that the pool was unavailable after our second day. When I was in it you could tell that the lining was loose and it eventually pulled away and required maintenance which made it unavailable. The validating of tickets for the parking garage also needs to be changed. Tickets in and out, must be validated every time (we sometimes had to do it four times a day). The parking garage also had maintenance which required us to have to park on several different levels repeatedly which wasn’t awful except that we were not directed as to how to te-enter the hotel from the different levels which was a bit of an inconvenience climbing stairs and getting lost on other floors. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as it is lovely and right next to the airport. Definitely rent a car for your trip.

I was in town only for a short time but my stay was great, the gym was perfect as well as the pool area. The property was convient to most everything on the island, nothing was more than a 20 minute taxi ride and I was able to walk to the airport.

I really like that a shuttle was provided to visit downtown and a couple of beaches. Taxis were expensive so this was a plus!

Perfectly located near aiport. 3 minute walk. Shuttles are complimentary, but you have to contact them a day prior or at check-in. Please note that they only provide this service from 10 am to 3 pm. So, if you schedule any early massages or tours or sunset cruises, the shuttle service won't be able to accommodate you. The next option would be to take a taxi. It's $20 to downtown and $31 to Palm Beach. Continental breakfast is pretty good. It's offered from 6 am to 9 am Monday thru Friday. And 6 am to 10:30 am on weekends. My room , hallways, and near grounds are updated and clean. My check-in experience was wonderful. However, my check out time wasn't much. Due to a hurricane arriving in the US, my flight was delayed, so i asked for a late check out. While one clerk was willing to assist us, Clerk ABIGAIL was rude and hostile.(jumped in the conversation) Regardless of any circumstances, if her tone of voice was more softer and kinder, I could have disregarded the inconvenience. But I felt like she was authoritarian and violent with a sharp tone of voice. Therefore, it was not acceptable. Due to her poor treatment, I rated this one star less. Good to note, front desk manager Winsy was helpful after the fact. Time will tell if training redirection will take place. Other than that, it is a great hotel.

Room smelled musty. Found ants in room. Booked through Expedia for King bed and pool. Get to hotel they had no King beds available and pool was under construction. If I knew this before booking I would have stayed elsewhere. Not happy at all.

The breakfast food was cold. No cleaning everyday, expect 4 star to have cleaning without having to ask every day. Have to get towels from front desk yourself. No cotton swabs or slippers or robes provided. Asked front desk for a pen, since none provided in room, they said they didn’t have one to give and ask bar for one.

Overall property is OK…. However, general maintenance and common area cleanliness not up to Hyatt standards. Room had a significant leak below my bathroom vanity/sink that absolutely flooded the floor. When I looked below I could see it had been leaking for a considerable amount of time because the cabinet work was all saturated and rotted. I even took photos and presented them to the front desk. Hallway carpets needed vacuuming and shampooing as well. Overall property is very convenient walking distance to Airport Terminal.

The staff was cordial and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. I had a wonderful time and a great experience. Very small issue was the carpet in the room. The carpet had an odor and was old and discolored. The room would look and smell so much better without the carpet.

Room had mold smell. Could not control your own air conditioning. Shampoo and soap dispensers all empty in shower. Enjoyed breakfast but no butter available for toast? We even asked. Due to location near airport taxi drivers charge airport rate even if not going far. Based on location not mileage. Only there a night due to flight delay.

1 night stopover on night before flying out of Aruba to return to the U.S. Hotel is right next to the Aruba airport so convenient and easy to walk to check-in area, no need for taxis. Staff is warm and friendly. Room was clean, quiet and well-maintained. Breakfast is included in stay. Pool was very nice but not enough lounge chairs to move into the shade if sitting there for a period of time. The only thing to be aware of is that other than a small restaurant as part of the hotel, there is nowhere to eat around there, We took a taxi into town for dinner and it was $25 each way.

The room was not ready for check-in; however, Candy, the front office administrator, made us feel extremely welcome and comfortable, which minimized any inconvenience. I am grateful for Candy's outstanding customer service, as she addressed all of our needs and concerns effectively, resulting in a stress-free stay. On the other hand, I encountered a manager named Daniella who exhibited unprofessional behavior that made me feel unwelcome. I was quite taken aback by her demeanor towards other guests, particularly when I observed her response to a guest's inquiry for information. This concern prompted me to request a discussion with a manager to bring this matter to attention. Such discourteous behavior would certainly influence my decision to consider alternative accommodation in the future.

We checked in and had to wait then the girl gave our room keys to another guest. We had lunch and had to wait for service! I ordered just French fries and the waitress questioned that I just wanted fries like it was unacceptable! I had also requested extra pillows at check in as my husband has RA and has to sleep elevated and I had to go to the front desk 4 hrs later as no one answered the phone when I called down. We wanted to get food to bring to the room so I went down to bar to order and had to wait granted they were busy but there was only one person working. Finally I ordered and he told me 20 mins and he would call when it was done. I went back to the room and about 35 mins later I went back down and it still was not ready. Finally he came out with the hot food and said the chocolate cake we ordered was frozen and to leave it out and it would thaw. We checked in and had to wait then the girl gave our room keys to another guest. We had lunch and had to wait for service! I ordered just French fries and the waitress questioned that I just wanted fries like it was unacceptable! I had also requested extra pillows at check in as my husband has RA and has to sleep elevated and I had to go to the front desk 4 hrs later as no one answered the phone when I called down. We wanted to get food to bring to the room so I went down to bar to order and had to wait granted they were busy but there was only one person working. Finally I ordered and he told me 20 mins and he would call when it was done. I went back to the room and about 35 mins later I went back down and it still was not ready. Finally he came out with the hot food and said the chocolate cake we ordered was frozen and to leave it out and it would thaw. I said absolutely not take it off, he said I have carrot cake and red velvet but the red velvet is crumbly so I would not want that. We took the carrot cake. I bit into my well done ordered burger to find that it was pink in the middle so I said heck with it at this point it was too much of a hassle to deal with them downstairs again so I would just eat the cake…Well that tasted like soap. Needless to say the whole experience at the Hyatt was horrible from the minute we got there. When we go back to Aruba next year we will just stay downtown the final night. We booked at the airport because we had an early flight.!

Abigail at reception was a God send in helping us when our flights were cancelled and I booked Expedia accidentally putting in the wrong date. She worked with Expedia and made the whole experience less traumatic during a difficult time. The staff were incredibly friendly our whole stay. It’s the perfect place to stay while dealing with your airline each day.

My complaint isn’t about the hotel facilities, but about the wrong charge on my credit card and the lack of assistance with us. Since 3rd August, I’ve been complaining by email, and the answer, after almost two weeks, was just: “Hello, let’s take care of your problem.” And nothing more. No more answers, no solution, even after many emails sent to the hotel. We called the Hyatt Central Help Desk, and the call ended before the problem was solved. We are very disappointed with such a big group and the lack of care with your customers.

1 night stopover on night before flying out of Aruba to return to the U.S. Hotel is right next to the Aruba airport so convenient and easy to walk to check-in area, no need for taxis. Staff is warm and friendly. Room was clean, quiet and well-maintained. Breakfast is included in stay. Pool was very nice but not enough lounge chairs to move into the shade if sitting there for a period of time. The only thing to be aware of is that other than a small restaurant as part of the hotel, there is nowhere to eat around there, We took a taxi into town for dinner and it was $25 each way.

Perfectly located near aiport. 3 minute walk. Shuttles are complimentary, but you have to contact them a day prior or at check-in. Please note that they only provide this service from 10 am to 3 pm. So, if you schedule any early massages or tours or sunset cruises, the shuttle service won't be able to accommodate you. The next option would be to take a taxi. It's $20 to downtown and $31 to Palm Beach. Continental breakfast is pretty good. It's offered from 6 am to 9 am Monday thru Friday. And 6 am to 10:30 am on weekends. My room , hallways, and near grounds are updated and clean. My check-in experience was wonderful. However, my check out time wasn't much. Due to a hurricane arriving in the US, my flight was delayed, so i asked for a late check out. While one clerk was willing to assist us, Clerk ABIGAIL was rude and hostile.(jumped in the conversation) Regardless of any circumstances, if her tone of voice was more softer and kinder, I could have disregarded the inconvenience. But I felt like she was authoritarian and violent with a sharp tone of voice. Therefore, it was not acceptable. Due to her poor treatment, I rated this one star less. Good to note, front desk manager Winsy was helpful after the fact. Time will tell if training redirection will take place. Other than that, it is a great hotel.

Out of beer on first night there, server at dinner totally ignored us after delivering menus, another server served us after realizing we were being ignored. There was only one other table occupied. Took 1.5 hours and had to track down server to get our check. Very nice hotel with some very nice staff members…some were rude. Free breakfast was good, don’t recommend the coffee creamer or yogurt. BTW, I am not one to normally complain, this was just not a pleasant experience.

Jennifer made our stay wonderful! She was the only one that was truly attentive and genuinely friendly. I would say that the menu at the restaurant could be expanded. If you do not eat meat, the there is very little for you to order. The only other food complaint I have is that during breakfast one day, there was mild in a slice of cheese I had in my plate. I let someone know and they were very apologetic and took the plate away… The rooms are lovely and quite comfortable.

I liked that this hotel was close to the airport, affordable, clean and they offered breakfast. I did not like that the breakfast was barely edible, there was nothing to do within walking distance, there was no entertainment in the hotel and one night they ran out of the fries that went with my order and they never refunded me or tried to give me the fries. I did like that they provided a free shuttle to downtown and the beach but you had to schedule it the day before.
