Full disclosure; booked in a rush and didn’t read reviews properly. My bad The place is newly refurbished, spotless and tidy, but it isn’t a hotel. Our room was like a standard European hostel; one double bed and a pair of bunks with very little storage or sitting space. No way that four people could get dressed at the same time. The photos definitely give the impression of more space. The microwave and fridge are nice, but bring your own teabags/milk etc Owners didn’t respond to email or text sent ahead of time to ask about keycode. They also didn’t pick up when we rang on arrival. Fortunately someone else arrived about 5 min after us and he contacted them on another number and got us inside. When we did briefly meet the owners, they were lovely Stairs are very steep and narrow, with a top step that’s deeper than the rest. It’s is in the middle of an industrial estate. It felt weird to walk to the pub in the evening and see literally no-one I think it’s reasonable to expect two locked doors between me and the outside Here, the front door is unlocked 24/7. The only barrier is the bedroom door, which had a flimsy deadlock that was taped over to discourage use. I assume there’s a security camera somewhere Like much of Boston, there are lots of St George/Union flags in the area. Might make you feel right at home, or a bit uncomfortable Bed was very comfy and the place was ok just for sleeping. Fine for contractors working on the estate; not great for leisure

Arrived at the end of a long days work with the family in tow. Pulled up to a house on a industrial estate and groaned. What had we let ourselves in for? Well, as the old saying goes, dont judge a book by its cover. Phoned the number to get entry instructions, instead, Lee the manager personally saw to our check in and made sure everything was ok for us. Once in, everything was as youd expect, modern, clean, functional. With the added bonus of a fridge and a microwave. We were given a fan as it was a boiling hot day and Lee delivered a second one to help keep the room cool. We had a slight issie with the shower temperature being too hot and not cooling, again, a quick text and Lee was back to sort it out. If youre expecting room service and 24 hour reception facilities in a town centre location then this is not for you. If you want a good clean room and a friendly service when needed, then I'd highly recommended this place. The only thing I can see might be an issue but wasnt for us is limited parking. But a small price to kay for a nice room at a great price.
