Willow House in Knodishall, Sleeps 7 - Only a short drive from Aldeburgh, Thorpeness & Snape Maltings - Managed by Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages

House was warm, comfortable and had all the basics. Just needed a few extra table knives as not enough for a party of 7 and the main bedroom table lights flickered. Also, a small dog could get out under the gate so just needed to put something in front of that for reassurance. Great comfortable beds, great showers and plenty of crockery. Cooking facilities good and WiFi was ok. Good location for getting out and about. Definitely Southwold, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness worthy of visiting. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Although house is on a B road the road is very busy therefore traffic woke us up early in the morning as house is very close to road. A couple of floors in the upstairs bathrooms felt very gritty as though they had not been swept. Downstairs bedroom had nowhere hang any clothes so they had to go upstairs. Although there was clothes hanging spaces upstairs in 2 bedrooms but not very good if you had longish clothes. TV had very limited channels. When we had a problem with a shower leaking staff did come out to look but did not notify us when they came out on subsequent visits. Knodishall area is greatas way to get to Southwold or Aldeburgh
