Motel 6 Louisville, Ky- Airport/ Fair Expo

holes in walls, bathtub in poor shape, wish there was microwave or coffee maker, no shampoo. neighbor rooms were loud parting smoking til 4 am of course noisy too from airport. lobby was not open even at 7 am, they did not have coffee available, good tho they have white castle across parking lot

When your first pull up the putter appearance needs a little tlc; looks older on the outside than what the inside does. Once you get inside it’s overall pretty clean. I wish they had microwave in the rooms ( just one in the vending area ) also it had 1 face towel per room. Clearly not enough for a double bedroom that can fit 4 ppl.

Parking lot was well lit, was able to keep an eye on my vehicle

Overall room was good, fridge never got cold, didnt worry for just one night. Location was not the best. Swore i was right under the planes warming up, wasnt expecting that. Staff was friendly

Room renovation ppeared incomplete. Reported non-working electric outlet.no effort to fix. Discovered refrigerator was plugged into a switched outlet. Appears a stobe was removed but exhaust hood remained. Laundry out of order. All this while banner outside claim motel was newly renovated

Staff was wonderful Hot zone for anything and everything food wise You would think that there would be a bunch of homeless people in the area with all the abandon buildings around, but shockingly enough seemed cleared Only Thing I would recommend is microwaves in the room or at least one in the building sucked, trying to heat up your food in the middle of the night and not being able to

The staff were very accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. It’s close to the airport so planes started flying early morning if you are a light sleeper. No frills. There was a small refrigerator but no microwave. Overall the stay was pleasant

Plenty of parking, friendly staff, clean and spacious room all for a very low price. My only complaint is the light on one side didn't work and a couple outlets didn't work but for a short stay you shouldn't need that many outlets anyways. Conveniently located near a ton of food options, both fast food and sit down restaurants. All in all, I'd stay here again no problem 😊

the first room they gave us smelled like a skunk had sprayed it but when I went back and told them, they did give us another room. the beds were comfortable and it was close to the Expo Center where we were attending the farm show. The bathtub was nasty, they had a mat down and pulled it up which pulled up the enamel which made it slick and dangerous on your feet, cut the bottom of mine. asked for a mat to put down, never got one. Shower did not work properly and no water pressure.Black out curtains had holes in them. Floor was uneven and popping up, floor was dirty. Refrigertor and TV did work. no coffee in lobby, microwave was with ice machine. Only allowed 2 towels and 1 washcloth for 3 adults and 2 children. Nasty black spots on ceiling,heater worked but was noisy. two of the clerks were friendly. booked thru Hotels.com and had to come home early due to weather. took 2 calls to them before I got a refund. walls are very thin, can hear neighbors and every car that comes in the driveway. asked for clear sheets after 3 days since my husband got some blood on the pillowcase and sheet but all they did was make the bed up with the same sheets.Very hard to understand with their accents.glad we had a smoke alarm but it is mounted over the bed and has a very bright constant flash every few seconds.

Room was clean enough. Beds were hard, I am use to a softer bed. No remote for TV and only 2 towels for a double queen room. When we asked for more towels, 3 adults, we were given one extra. Lighting was sparse. Security patrolled parking lot all night.

I reserved 2 rooms, Both rooms dirty , dirty showers. 1 room no toiletries, 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel, no hairdryer, no coffee pot. 2nd room exposed wires in bathroom ceiling, leak stains on ceiling over bed, light globe for bathroom laying under sink cabinet, 3 towels 2 washcloths,no hand towels no hairdryer. Dead bed bugs, probably live as well. Floor of shiwer disgusting. They advertise this was renovated 5 years ago. No way. Abandoned buildings right next to us. No elevators awful place to stay.took pictures but dont see where I can upload then.

The room was not the cleanest, particularly under the fitted sheet. The lobby smelled like a bathroom that had just been used. Loud, barking dog in room beneath me. Neighbor was sitting in doorway of his room with door open smoking cigarettes, despite being told ‘No smoking’ when I checked in. People in parking lot shouting at each other. They refused to refund my money for the first night despite checking out by 10pm for feeling unsafe as a solo female traveler.

The room looks clean at first then you notice the cigarette burns and stains on the bed, the roaches in the microwave and ice dispenser. They did not leave towels in my room when we first checked in and every night I stayed I got locked out by the doors card reading system and was forced to get a replacement key card multiple times. 3 out of the 4 nights I stayed the fire alarms went off waking me up and none of the hotel staff knew what was going on and told me to ignore the loud blaring alarm that might be alerting to a fire they just admitted they know nothing about.

The property it’s self was nice. Room was clean and bed comfy

The motel was rundown looking on the outside. Even the lobby was hard to find. We arrived to town and hour and a half early so we stopped to see if we could get in and were told we could for an extra $25. Thought that was a little ridiculous, so we left and got food and came back at 3pm. The room was ok and clean-ish. The towels were stained, the sheets had stains on them and the bathroom floor was dirty. It was the cheapest hotel we could find in the area but at over $70 a night I was hoping for something a little better. But I guess you get what you pay for.

I am not sure if the room was cleaned prior to our arrival as there were small black hairs in the corner of the shower before my husband or myself used it The walls looked filthy as did the floor There was a bug at one point in our room The property itself was also disgusting as there was trash everywhere, and Im not sure that this place should be able to call itself pet friendly when there is no place to be ablr to walk your dog that is not covered in trash or glass This will definitely be a place we do not come back to

The room was not clean. They made the beds but there was blood spots on covers along with cigg holes. Bathroom still has last persons dirty linens. Fridge also had old food in it . Hair everywhere. Needles in the parking lot and lots of activity felt unsafe.

The floors had something sticky all over them. I didn’t take my shoes off the entire night. It sounded like the people in the room next to us were talking in our bathroom. They sounded so close we could hear their phone ding every time they received a text message.

The hotel itself is better than expected. The bed was very comfortable The room clean and the staff friendly. Well worth the money with plenty of places walkable to eat or to get any toiletries or things you needed they also have a washer and dryer you can use and it was a quiet pleasant day. Recommend

It was your basic motel room. 2 beds a small fridge and a tv. Suitable for slèeping which is all we needed it for.

Room was big n spacious love the location close to restaurant n expressway n gas could be cleaner I cleaned my room went to dollar tree bought cleaning supplies,,sheets were a lil dingy,and no microwave, online said it did but other than that I enjoyed the stay and will stay again

It was ok the walls are so thin you hear the tv from the room next to you all night so close to the airport you hear planes all night and then the fire alarm went off at 3 in the morning for no reason

The room was very clean and suprisingly modern "inside" the room itself. The area surrounding it felt very unsafe as it was next to an abandoned bldg with windows busted out. There were also a few questionable guests staying at the hotel.

Noisy, no indoor steps. The rooms were nice and bed was comfy

the room and staff were amazing. the noise was a little bad but what do you expect from a hotel next to an airport. the landscape need extreme updating but parking lot was clean. all in all it was a good stay. will definitely return.

Took over an hour to check in. Manager left an inexperienced new employee by herself on a busy night. All kinds of chaos. Super annoying even for a budget hotel

Hotel was fairly price and room was nice but outside was not very clean. I also found it rude that the desk clerk was asking for a tip, ask 2 times before even being fully checked in.

They gave us a welcome bag and helped us find a ride to the Derby. Very helpful.

The front staff is rude . On a video call the whole time and turned the screen to allow the person on his video call to see my card information . Then asked everyone in the lobby if they would like to tip him!!!

The front desk employees were so incredibly nice! I chatted with both people for a while and really enjoyed both of them! The room was clean, the area was quiet. There's lots of restaurants around so that was nice too.

The staff was extremely unfriendly. And when I pointed out, there was mold and one of the rooms, they said we don’t have another room for you and we can’t give you a refund.

They overbooked so my reservation was cancelled. I was left to sleep in my car and then drive the 5 hours home. I had a 5 night reservation. So that was disappointing.

The picture listed doesn't show the wall in front of the building and the run down area it's in. We did not feel safe the whole weekend.

I did not get any sleep because planes where taking off and landing at all hours and it was very loud. Terrible location!

Close to airport ok for easy end and out stay.

Pros: Location was close to where we were going. The room looked nice and newly remodeled. Cons: There is a big rundown building behind the motel with busted windows. There are a lot of people sitting around outside of their rooms at night talking to eachother and you can hear every word they say, and also every word the neighboring rooms say. The bathtub was very old and didn’t match the newly remodeled rest of the room. Someone outside was smoking pot outside their room.

Not in a good neighborhood big glass pieces everywhere in parking lot and grass. Not safe at night groups of people coming out of the vacant building next door. And people were running down the balcony and yelling.

Quick check, near airport and hwy

Beds were clean, furniture was up-to-date, nice vanity mirror. The shower was pretty gross. There was hair all over the place and the tub was a bit dirty like it had barely been cleaned. The toilet barely had any water in it. The worst part was the noise. There were people yelling outside and horns honking at 1 am. The other guests seemed a bit shady and the two abandoned hotels on either side of the building gave off a creepy vibe. I definitely won’t go back but I guess you get what you pay for.
