Room was ok didnt have coffee machine which it should have. And when i left friday was locked in

Nice little hotel in the centre of Rotherham. Lovely rooms with en suite toilet and shower. Nice bar and outside seating area, breakfast was nice. Friendly staff. Overall 9/10.

Boutique Hotel, Bar & Restaurant?????? Not.... Nothing Boutique my room was in the cellar with no windows, restaurant with no working kitchen of chef? I booked in and was told that my key was in the room door, i can only thin thats because it was in the cellar but didnt like the idea of that as everyone would have had access to my room before my arrival.. I expect some kind of compensation for this as not as described, had to order food in etc.. Very poor

Breakfast 8 until 10. No cooked breakfast until 9. Hotel abandoned at 11pm. Doors not locked overnight. Stale bread and sour milk for limited cereal breakfast. No restaurant available as indicated. RIP OFF.

Basic room, cold tap was producing hot and cold (?), one guy doing his best to run check-in (watching videos on his phone inbetween. which is fine but that’s the level of hotel to expect), one guy left becsuse of a mouse in his room, I didn’t drink or eat there. Check out - no one to be found. Gave my key to the “chef”. Weird experience, felt cheap (but wasn’t) and as the main entrance doors were unlocked with one staff member, I debate what would happen in any form of security incident. I really don’t recommend this place.

I expected the front entrance to be from the lovely front entrance but it was actually through the restaurant at the rear of the hotel. The hotel is quite soulless and we didn't see any other guests but that didn't matter for us. The room was clean and spacious. The manager was helpful and I'd recommend this hotel if you're looking for something convenient near the toen centre.

The owner is very nice and rooms are clean. Room was freezing even though rads and electric heaters on. Only pizzas served and the restaurant was as cold as outside temp. You can order things in and use thier plates etc. Could not get out of hotel till 0700 in the morning as front door locked. Car park is an aditional £5 a night

I was meeting a customer for a meal and asked directions, I was directed out a rear entrance and down a narrow alleyway to the Main Street, however, this was in complete darkness, with steps and a hill which I had to use my phones torch to stop me from stumbling! That area needs illuminated Breakfast was very good! This was my second stay on business and would highly recommend

The other double I was advised had a broken radiator. So I was moved to a ‘delux’. The bed wasn’t broken (yay). There were black spots on the bathroom and hallway walls (mould?). The curtains did not block out the constant light from the courtyard at all. The tv powered up, but would not connect any channels. Cheap poorly put together flat pack furniture. As a solo traveller though, my main concern was the lack of security. There was a door on the downstairs level, that led into a tiered courtyard down a lane way to a gate on the Main Street. Neither locked. There was no separation of the hotel rooms from an entrance. The land way on ground level - was litter strewn, I saw a couple of condoms and a used needle. There was no privacy lock on the door. I ended up using a door wedge and a chair against the door. It just felt dodgy. Food - lovely burger. Staff perfectly polite. But this is in no way (a) worth the money, or (b) a boutique hotel.

Room was small. It felt dirty because of how marked the walls are; the wallpaper coming away from the ceiling; spiders in the bathroom; fingernails and clumps of hair in the carpet. At breakfast I wasn’t given an option for hot food, they just made a fry up and gave it to me. The only drinks options at breakfast was orange juice or tea or coffee. The room only had Venetian blinds so even when fully closed it let through a lot of light meaning I could not sleep in past 6am.

We booked this room as it sounded special, The Presidential Suite and it was listed as having a hot tub. The room was basic with cheap fittings. There were 2 armchairs which were sat right in front on the entrance door looking at it. What was supposed to be a hot tub was just a roll top bath, totally different. There were quite a few cobwebs around and the blind slats hadn’t been dusted for a long time. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The full English breakfast was fairly bland as the cheapest ingredients were used. On check in when we asked about our complimentary drinks the guy said, no, you wouldn’t get them with the room at that price. I showed him the booking which stated them and he agreed for us to have them. Overall the hotel was ok for a one night stay but it was more like a bed and breakfast.

Hotel no secure. They leave a fire door open 24 hr for access and claim it’s safe because they have cameras. The room was filthy, not what I booked, complimentary water was unsealed. Under staffed, no management on site to make a complaint to and they didn’t answer their number when I called them. When I did speak to them I was called a liar and spoken over and blamed for not putting things right whilst still there. I didn’t want to spend another second in the dungeon I’d been allocated. If I could give a minus score I would.

I really enjoyed my stay eventhough at the beginning I had a room where my tv did not work but the member of staff was so helpful when I explained this . He said someone would come but they did not come so I went back to him and also told him how my towels were soiled. He changed my room . I had a great sleep and he cooked a great breakfast . He works really hard and was nice . Respect for the staff member who was the only one I saw there on my stay doing everything .

Hair on the bed very dark and dirty and noisy

The toom was nothing like wevhad booked,family room with terrace,given a room woth not evren a window that opened,apart from a lovely painting of one on the wall,also the cooked breskfast was just served on a plate didnt get to choose what we wanted so alot went to waste.

Delightful boutique hotel in the centre of Rotherham ticking all the bells and whistles. Friendly bespoke rooms, nicely furnished, all on-suite. Unfortunately the matress was lumpy but apart from that no more issues. The hotel is beautifully furnished, there's a bar upstairs with a selection of world beverages, the bar staff are friendly and professional. This was strange from the start! I had to provide ID at check in, so they photocopied my driving license. After checking with the manager, I was told I could take the copy with me the next day! Bed was really soft, which is not my preference, and in the morning the shower didnt work, so I had to go to a different room for a shower. The tea in the room was good (Yorkshire Tea) and the sausages at breakfast were good too, however!

It was in a grim area next to a lap club. Nice couple running it but nobody else there. That said, we were still stuck in a basement room where you could see through the window. Dining limited except for a Wetherspoons around the corner. We did get a fan when asked.

Probably one of the better places in central Rotherham. Wouldn’t stay again not due to the hotel, but due to dive Rotherham central is !!!
