Curt di Clement Eco Mobility Hotel

Our first night in Italy after traveling from Switzerland on the fantastic Bernina Express train. The hotel is tucked into a rustic area within walking distance from the train station, but the cobblestone streets make wheeed luggage a bit challenging. The hotel is in an ancient building that has been modernized and updated, making it decieveingly comfortable with a unique feel of antiquity with all modern amenities. It appears to cater to the cycling set with a dedicated bike room, but that seems to be a bonus overall.

Lovely little hotel, newly renovated and an ideal place to stay as we we’re catching the Bernina Express in the morning. Very comfortable. if you had any mobility concerns or needs the shower was large and had a bench built in. Very nice touch, along with an elevator for those of us with suitcases.

Obviously a lot of work to renovate the old old building into this hotel. Very well done. Rooms clean. Staff very helpful. Breakfast superior for this type of mid level hotel. Not an easy walk and hard to find (in spite of numerous signs) so I’d recommend a taxi from rail station.

Wir haben im Rahmen eines Kurztrips (Bernina-Express) eine Bleibe für eine Übernachtung in Tirano gesucht und sind zufällig auf das Curt di Clement-Ecohotel gestoßen. Die Bilder in der Beschreibung waren sehr vielversprechend und der Preis hat gestimmt - also haben wir gebucht. Was soll ich sagen: Das Hotel ist ein wahrer Traum! Es handelt sich um ein älteres Gebäude, das liebevoll modernisiert wurde. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und geräumig, zweckmäßig ausgestattet (mit guten Betten und Sitzgelegenheiten). Was einem sofort ins Auge sticht, ist die gekonnte Kombination aus wertigen, "warmen" Materialien (z. B. wunderschöne Dielenböden, teils freigelegte Deckenbalken) und modernen Elementen (Glas, Metall). Es wird angenehm unaufdringlich sehr viel Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. Die Atmosphäre im Gebäude ist einfach grandios - man fühlt sich sofort "daheim". Das Personal ist super-freundlich und aufmerksam, und sollte man einen Tipp benötigen (z. B. wo in der Umgebung man gut essen kann), wird einem sogleich geholfen. Die nächste schöne Überraschung war das reichhaltige, bis ins Detail liebevoll zubereitete Frühstücksbuffet. Von leckeren Brötchen jeglicher Art über Eier mit Speck und verschiedene Käse- und Wurstsorten, süße Stückchen für jeden Geschmack, Müsli etc. wartet das Hotel sogar mit einer Saftpresse und einer großen Auswahl an frischem Obst und Gemüse auf. Man kann sich also auch zum Frühstück einen Smoothie seiner Wahl mixen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Vielen Dank!

El diseño del hotel es espectacular. A un paso del centro histórico y a 600 mts de la estación del Bernina Express. Desayuno muy completo. El único punto es que solo hay 3 plazas de parking aunque tienen lugar para varios autos más a unos 400 mts. Pero se entiende por la zona donde está ubicado

Great hotel. Parking is tough but everything else about the hotel is great. Breakfast is really good.

Very well renovated buildings make up this hotel. A blend of old and modern that is really well thought out. Excellent lighting in the room (302) spacious bathroom with separate tub and shower. There is an elevator to aid getting bags to your room. Breakfast is a well stocked buffet. It’s easy to find if you use Google maps - probably trickier without. We walked from the train station pulling roller bags over some cobbled streets - about ten minutes. This is the most interesting hotel we have stayed at in the last three weeks. Recommended.

Alles war zur besten Zufriedenheit. Es war alles stimmig. Sogar ohne Aufforderung bekamen wir einen Stadtplan von Tirano mit Wegbeschreibungen der Sehenswürdigkeien. Hier hatte ich ebenfalls die Möglichkeit mein Auto elektrisch zu laden. Wunderbares Hotel!

Limpeza impecável, quarto super confortável, banheiro com chuveiro excelente, próximo a comércios, fizemos tudo a pé. Atendimento maravilhoso! Cafe da manhã magnífico! Voltaria com certeza!

No air conditioning, bathrooms had a strange smell. When we enquired for giving us atleast a table fan, they said they don’t have it. Too overrated to be a 4 star hotel. It’s a 15th century building, so I will it for what they have done with it, but they forgot to take care of guest comfort.

The staff were very friendly. The hotel is in a good location only a short distance from the centre of Tirano. The rooms were clean and warm and we're a good size.

Walked to this hotel from the train, unfortunately Google Maps took us through dark scary alleyways. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff is great.

Great location, historic building. However, breakfast was sad. No more pastries with an hour of breakfast service left. I didn’t see anything being restocked. Beds were hard, and so were pillows. Room was dusty. Bathroom door would not close. We asked for an hour later check out and were told it would be 50 euros!!!

Love the hotel embedded within older buildings within Tirano, yet still fully contemporary. Great location. Very spacious room, and enormous bathroom. Superb brrakfast, especially all of the local cheeses, fruit juices, yogurts, etc. The only reason for 4 atars rather than 5 was just how hard the bed was. For a side sleeper that us unbelievably uncomfortable and making for a more restless night. For mu stomach sleeping husband, it was perfect.

This hotel is stunning, it's an old building which has been done up to a very high standard. We had a double bedroom which was very large, it had plenty of room if you needed to store luggage and was easy walking distance from the station. It was equipped with a kettle and supplies for hot drinks, and also a fridge. The shower worked great and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good with loads of choice. The area was nice although not alot about, we walked down to the church basilica della madonna which is stunning inside, and also walked all round the small town centre. We also ate at a small restaurant called parravicini where the food was amazing and very reasonable price. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. And recommend it either for a stopover when doing the Bernina express or for a longer trip if you want somewhere comfortable with lots of room.

Really quiet rooms with plenty of room. The staff was helpful and friendly. Some of the breakfast items were depleted and not being restocked for later breakfasts.

Staff were friendly and helpful, room was nicely furnished and modern but bed was hard and pillows thin and lumpy. Good powerful shower. Would have liked more vegan/veggie options at breakfast, maybe beans, spinach, mushrooms. Good location for station and exploring Tirano.

This hotel is one a kind, one that you will remember for a long time and for all good reasons. We had room 302 with a gorgeous vaulted timber ceiling in the room and bathroom. Room extremely spacious and the most gorgeous bathroom with huge tub and beautiful shower and decor. Even the hallways are beautiful. And room where breakfast is served is also very beautiful. Breakfast itself was top with great variety and unparalleled quality. The only negative is the hotel is a 750m walk ( a bit long with luggage on pavers) but it was so worth the extra steps. The morning we left we had a taxi back to the train station and it was worth it.

Awful stay. We had two rooms and didn’t sleep a wink. The air conditioning unit was awful and the room must have been 80 degrees the whole time. I asked for a fan but there didn’t have one. No one there after 9 pm to help out. If you are planning on traveling in the summer you should stay away from this place.

The air conditioning does not flow in the rooms correctly it is simply a fan running and is extremely stuffy inside the room when advised the front desks they said they would check it out and their resolution was to open the bathroom window which let in damp air entering the room causing both myself and husband to wake up with stuffy nose and soar throat. The air in the hall was much more refreshing than inside the rooms. The mattress lacked luxury or comfort and the biggest disappointment was the the modern bright green decor in the room when the balance of the hotel had a rustic mid evil vibe On The positive side the hotel building and grounds are beautiful and would recommend spreading this theme through out the balance of the hotel

Front desk was always super friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful, the room was beautiful, everything was wonderful. The beds were comfortable.

We arrived late and the lady who was giving instructions for directions and where to get the keys etc was so responsive and easy to talk with. Even after giving clear instructions , they tasked somebody to wait for us,an Italian speaking adorable senior man, who was, very much willing to assist us with our questions and needs. We had to leave early to catch the train and they opened the breakfast area early to accommodate us—and the spread, a lot of quality food and freshly squeezed fruit juices aside from aromatic espressos. Highly recommendable.

Had panoramic room with absolutely no panoramic view at all. There is nothing about panorama from this room. Check in went well until we asked for extra bed sheet for our toddler. No one said anything until “boss” told receptionist to charge us extra 30€ because “toddler needs bedsheets”. Not so friendly as they claim. In friendly hotels children until certain age (up to 16 somewhere) are welcome. Bear in mind “panoramic room” has extra bed included. Heating was turned off. We had to call at 22:00 to turn it all, same thing at the breakfast, you need to wear a jacket to eat comfortably, and yes it was middle of April, outside temperature during our stay was below 0°c. So much about ECO friendliness. Obviously owners knows that travellers are staying only one night in Tirano due to train ride from Switzerland (Bernina express) so they don’t care about your wellbeing.

A truly wonderful hotel located about 10 minutes walk from the station and set in a lovely area within a stone's throw to the historic centre. I throughly recommend booking now because by the time you come back to book the room may not be there - we were very lucky to get the last room. What makes this place special is that the building has been restored to it's former glory so much of the charm and 'feel' has been retained whilst also providing luxury accommodation. I also have to mention the wonderful Michaela & Betty who were really fantastic - they were extremely helpful and provided a wealth of information and a super recommendation for a restaurant that's just around the corner. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Air conditioning temperature is controlled by the hotel to 24°(75° F) or above, and the outside temperature was 27-32° (80-90° F), so it was impossible to cool off or sleep comfortably. The breakfast buffet was ran out of eggs 75 minutes before breakfast ended and asking for more was treated as a major inconvenience.

Great hotel conveniently located to the train station. I have stayed in many hotel rooms and this was one of the nicest with the beautiful wood paneling and doors. Service was impeccable as my daughter forgot her wallet and hat and they arranged for them to be shipped to our next location. Thanks again!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this unique hotel. Matteo was warm and friendly and helped us with a little transportation snafu. We walked everywhere in this beautiful town. The historic area is quite beautiful. Highly recommend staying here!

We arrived by train and the location is not too far from the station. Fortunately we were able to walk there. It’s an incredibly beautiful, eco friendly hotel. Very clean, quiet & modern room and bathroom. Staff are so kind, and breakfast was perfect. There are several very nice restaurants you can walk to in the evening as well. Kudos to Michela & Betty as they were so helpful. They also work with a taxi company, Giordano & Sara, which were a joy. Definitely recommend! Thank you

The location is about 15 mins if you are hauling a luggage from Tirano train station with no luggage maybe 10 mins. This is a nice hotel, renovated and nicely decorated. The breakfast was excellent, there's a variety more than just an american breakfast. The staff are nice too.

This is a beautiful modern hotel that has preserved stunning architectural details. It is just a short walk from the train station and a perfect place to stay to enjoy the historic town before riding the Bernina Express.

Lugar com cara de Itália !!! Quartos grandes e confortável. Gostei do café da manhã ! Indicaram um restaurante muito bom bem próximo. Bem perto pra fazer tudo a pé .

Quarto e banheiros muito limpos, café da manhã maravilhoso. Só não é walking distance, se vc estiver com mala média e grande. Achar a entrada tb é meio difícil

The hotel was very convenient although finding it was a bit difficult. It is a bit off putting as the hotel is surrounded by derelict buildings. The staff were very helpful and attentive and really good. However, some of the hotel guests are not that great as they stay chatting in the breakfast room which was quite small. We had our breakfast and they were still there, very inconsiderate.

Overall, everything was really nice I think the hotel is pretty new hotel and everything seems to be all working properly. I would just put a little minus point for the TV not being connected to TV where you can AirPlay from your devices so the choice is quite limited. Breakfast was nice & included and staff as well was great and looked after us - fresh cakes, yogurt, cereals, hot options.

An absolutely fantastic stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is done so nicely! The eay it has been designed is tasteful and shows the heritage of the place! The rooms were clean, spacious and for the price a real bargain! The view of the mountains from the balcony was stunning. Shower was amazing! Breakfast was included and fantastic. They have their own juicer with fresh fruit and veg to make your own! A small allergy option if you ask for it, gluten free people are covered! And a big selection of meats and pastries aswell as hot food. Such an awesome hidden gem in Tirano, highly recommended. I hope to come back some point soon!

Really nice, spacious room and shower room. Full breakfast offerings. Lovely staff and great location for hiking and Bernina Express.

Property was super charming. An amazing hotel in an old historic building totally renovated to be lovely. The rooms were clean and charming with a wonderful shower. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was so delicious I’d recommend staying at the hotel just for the breakfast alone. Great variety, make your own juice, etc. Thank you for a great stay on a quick trip through Tirano.
