It was ok although iceMachine was broken

Air conditioning was excellent. Pet friendly is why we stay at Motel 6.

The parking is safe and the air conditioning worked very well.

Staff was very helpful. The freeway traffic was a bit noisy but that doesn't really bother me. I couldn't find a working ice machine and that was bothersome.. Otherwise the property was in good shape and I would stay there again.

The property is in a kind of bad location lots of homeless people around. People speed through parking lot all day and night. Room was ok mostly clean. No fridge no microwave and only one chair to sit down. Double queen room has only 2 towels and one washcloth we booked for 3 nights. Lots of traffic noise right off the highway. One ice machine way on the other side of where we stayed.

Front desk staff was very nice and helpful when I checked in and when I needed to book for an extra night. House keeping was very nice and professional. Room was clean and the pool area and parking area were clean and well kept.

Pool was dirty

Room was located a good city block in a different building from the office where the only ice machine and drink vending machine were, had to drive to get these things. Had hard time finding room, no map given, told room facing the other hotel, had to ask cleaning crew who didn't know at first. Felt we were given a room way out of the way because we had two small dogs. Our pets are well behaved and kenneled. Seems like this hotel chain has issues repairing bathrooms when something is damaged or broken. This motel used a lot of drywall patch but inexpertly applied. Sad experience.

If you can’t find a place to sleep then go here it’s cheap, with free parking, free wifi, and somewhat clean. My only advice would be don’t keep anything valuable in your vehicle because there is a lot of people on drugs.

I enjoyed my stay at the Motel 6 Tuscon. The location of the hotel was convenient for the places that I visited. The WiFi worked well throughout the stay. The room was cleaned everyday, as well, which was nice. The hotel is located near a highway (I-10) so there is a lot of road noise. It didn't really bother me during the trip but it could be a problem for some people.

We weren't expecting much. It was a major crack all around the door and a smash cockroach on the wall. The bathroom had a couple of dried boogers stuck on the wall. Once we got past that we were okay. Staying there one night. The area is a little bit sketchy. It was $80 so we really weren't expecting luxury.

Lots of people loitering around the area looking to steal from your car and the room had bedbugs so we had to leave in the middle of the night. Woo!

The area was bad sheets where dirty, the bathroom was dirty poor water pressure. Overall bad there was 2 cockroaches

From the cockroaches in the room and bathroom. (and the fresh cockroaches in the morning), to the thread bare linen and towels, to the half hour wait to get the other two towels for our prebooked family of four (these towels were actually fine), to the complaining attitude of 2 staff at reception - both the checkin staff and morning staff clearly didn’t want to be there, to the unmaintained walls, doors, floor (oh, my feet went black walking from the bathroom to the bed due to lack of cleaning) - what an experience…

Roach I fridge. Huge deposit for area and prices. Stains on bath door damage to walls coffee sour and days old

This place is a scam and will charge an extra $15 for dirty towels at check out. Absolutely pathetic, especially seeming the towels were so dirty from the floors that THEY didn't clean before I checked in.

Cockroaches dead in fridge with some yellow stuff pooled up on bottom of fridge & doesn't seem to be cold enough & the amount of cockroaches running around room. Buckled wood flooring was bad enough to trip on, very uncomfortable experience for almost everything. Manager was nice & helpful on getting a room before check in for my cat sake, so I would say nice staff, Way over priced tho, should be a $10-$15 night stay at best. No onsite laundry ether avoid the Tucson freeway & stick to the marana one for a way better experience & the studio 6 side is even better then standard.

Checked in and went to the room. TV did not work at all. Had to move to another room. Took some time to figure out that the tv in the new room was not on the correct input. I finally got it to work. Found out later that the light switch for the light over the sink was also connected to the tv. So when you turn the light switch off the tv goes off also. Could not watch tv with the light off. And had to reset the tv input every time the light switch was turned back on. Bugs in the tub.

No microwave but decent priced and clean rooms

The hotel was clean and comfy maybe a little outdated but overall not bad for the price. Check in/out took a long time but the staff at the desk were nice.

I’m very upset when my room is without a good TV working. Again in Motel 6 tv is out of service. Can you do something? I dont know if this happen only in the room the office give me. What can I do? Can I ask for another room when this happened? My time to arrive to the hotel or motel is around midnight and I like to Watch some News before to sleep. Perhaps is not permited in this moteles Watch TV at this time. . Well why not communicate that when I do the reservation? I’m really upset. I would like to go to another place right now only that is late. Where can I call to do this claime?

Want to let anyone booking this hotel know that you must leave a $100 cash deposit or they won’t let you into your room. The next morning upon checkout they made me wait while they inspected my room. The young male desk clerk told me I had dirtied a wash cloth and they were deducting $20 from my deposit. When I told them I refused to pay $20 for a washcloth (not a full sized towel, a washcloth) he told me if I did not agree he had the right to “confiscate “ my entire deposit. He used the word confiscate. I realize this story sounds too extreme to be true but I swear it’s true. This actually happened.

Staff is usually pretty nice but this stay one girl had absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever! Probably the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had at any place ever!

The first shift employee is rude. She doesn't try to listen and will cut you off while talking. She doesn't seem very knowledgeable about the policy. I had to speak to 2 other employees to get an answer to a question. It was just a mess. The room was clean, and the location was convenient. Only thing that was concerning was the amount of homeless or drug addicts roaming the area.

Formal Complaint – Motel 6 Tucson (1010 S Freeway) To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting a formal complaint regarding my stay at Motel 6, located at 1010 S Freeway, Tucson, AZ 85714, from July 12 through July 21, 2025, in Room 106. Despite notifying staff that I would be paying late on July 21, I was treated aggressively. The manager banged on my door while I was in the restroom, threatened police action, and forced me out into the rain—even after I had paid $57.45 via Apple Pay. She promised a refund but later refused. I have still not been reimbursed. The room was also unsanitary, with visible mold, roaches, spiders, and other insects. Staff throughout my stay were rude, untrained, and uninterested in helping guests. Most sat at the front desk on their phones, unable to provide accurate information. Night time staff very kind and morning.worked with me during a very unexpected hard time in my life

I liked everything about property and didn't like a host/clerk who could barely speak English, was very obnoxious, arrogant and just outright unpleasant tha whole week we stayed there. She claimed to be a manager on numerous encounters but we're told she was not. I will never forget that she kept referring to us as "GRINGOS" and when my wife confronted her. Her attitude was like too bad I say what I want and doesn't matter who you complain too. We did complain, more than once but she continued her nasty unpleasantries. Oh well, right. Other than that we had a great stay 😄

As the saying goes “you get what you pay for”. Checking in was smooth, clerk was nice. Had to leave $100 deposit. In cash! It was returned in the morning by Alejandra who was the rudest person ever. She was busy talking to a coworker and I had to bring it to her attention that I was there to check out. I told her I have a deposit in an envelope and she rudely replies “I KNOW!” Then decides to tell me I need my id. So had to go to my car. She enjoyed pushing my buttons all that time she kept talking to her coworker!! She needs a course in customer service!

I was going for my birthday and my mom came with me. We brought our two cats. The staff were very helpful when we had questions and when we decided to stay an extra night, they assisted us in how to add an extra night. The hotel mains were very on point and always made sure we had what we needed. All and all, it was a good stay

I reserved a room for four nights online and paid for the room with a credit card but when I got there I was told that I need to pay $100 deposit in cash which I did. When I got into my room I noticed that things were broken such as the AC unit and the back to the TV remote was missing. It was a non-smoking room, but they were cigarette burns all over the place and the room smelled of like mold or mothballs or something so I went and told the office that and the lady told me that almost all of the rooms are like that so not to worry that I still get my deposit back in the morning. Well when I checked out and asked for my deposit back the lady told me that they were things missing out of my room and she tried to say that my room smelled like drugs. Me nor my boyfriend do drugs? If you stood outside our front door you could smell drugs coming from multiple rooms so I feel like it transferred over to our room and we were blamed for something we did not do at all. We also had somebody knock on our door asking if we wanted to “Have a good time” and He meant sexually and with drugs. When we told him no and that he needed leave before we called, but we noticed that he sat in his car facing our hotel room for a while before he actually leave. So when we were trying to check out the the front desk lady was extremely rude and would not give us her(z name or phone number for corporate so that we could reach out and dispute getting our deposit back.

Terrible location. Next to the highway. It’s noisy with many strangers walking around. The place has a new floors but otherwise is beat up. We didn’t really feel save there.

very good location

the motel itself was awesome no problems but the company that does the roomservice or food was no good they gave me coupons for more food that wouldnt work and out of the three times i ordered not once did i get my complete order

The food from room service was inedible because it was terrible. It was a $50 waste of money.

The motel is very old. They put new flooring down but it is coming up, paint job terrible. Basically no amenities. The area is loud and the doors hold back no noise. Guys yelling at each other in the middle of the night. The one plus was the kettle restaurant byvthe motel, great food.
