This house is amazing! From the moment you pull up, the energy this house gives is amazing. No detail was left out. It is such a warm and inviting space. The rooms are decorated beautifully. Music was playing downstairs. Refreshments upstairs. Plenty of places to cozy up with a book and relax. I chose a couch on the wraparound porch. It was a magical place and if I ever need to stay in Birmingham again… I will chose this place every time!! Thank you for the hospitality!

This is such a unique place! The whole place is friendly, calming, and welcoming. The shared spaces are bright, laid-back, and comfortable. The private room and bathroom are comfortable, clean, and homey. We’ll definitely be staying here again because it feels like a home away from home!

We loved the house as well as the other guests. It is hard to categorized the place. I'm leaning towards hostel/ airbnb. We were assigned to the earth room, which was wonderful and relaxing, and we loved the note and details. Our favorite area was outside on the veranda (front porch). We took a midday nap out there. We also met and had amazing conversations with other guests.This place should be 5 stars for walk ability in downtown, safety, cleanest of house, creativity of the spaces and areas. The suggested improvement is communication that the owner is there, notes to label your food in the fridge. My watermelon margarita was thrown out or missing but my food was left. It seems that most of guess had trouble opening the door but the owners attempted to fix it. I was looking forward to chia breakfast pudding. Also, I wished the offered a yoga session on the weekend or sound healing. We will be back and I hope to stay in the water room next time. This place attracts some fabulous guests.

It was not a bad place to stay. It was easy to use the door lock and the layout of the room was nice. There are some small things they could do to improve it, add multiple towel hooks near the shower, add a nightlight in the bathroom, add a USB charging port near the bed in the bedroom. We stayed in the Bird House room. Some bigger things they could do would be to renovate the kitchen area to include a sink. Update the toilet to a higher one and update the bathroom sink and sink fixture.

I loved the funky and historic vibe of the Tree House! It's certainly not your cookie-cutter hotel room. We needed a place to sleep after a show at a brewery, and this was perfect. We had an easy check-in, simple parking, a very comfortable bed in a spacious room (Water), and great snacks/to-go breakfast options. I'll definitely consider coming back when we return to Bham!

Place was very nice and right across from a police station so your car feels safe. Almost right underneath Vulcan statue and walking distance to UAB. Only knock was I thought it was a bed and breakfast and the only breakfast was some grocery store bought bagels and cream cheese and no TV. Any other time this would have been fine but it was draft night.

Enjoyed my stay but be aware this is an old home in where the rooms have been converted to guest rooms. You share living spaces, not your bathroom. You across from a police substation so it’s safe.

We had a great one- night stay. It's a fun and funky guest house, exceptionally clean, and has a great location in Five Points. I don't think we'll be staying anywhere else when in Birmingham.

This was my second visit in six weeks. We wanted on son to experience the house and Birmingham. As my previous experience, it was lovely and we enjoyed the bird house room more. The bird house truly suits a family and my husband and son enjoyed having a TV in the room. I'm also happy to see some of my previous suggestions were implemented in just a couple of weeks. My best experience is still the other guests as well as the house. I will be back but it will not be so soon 😭😂.

We had a fantastic time. The house is so adorable and our host was very accommodating.

Beautiful!! Perfectly clean, excellent hospitality and environment, unique decor and plenty of space. Internet, water, bathroom essentials all provided. The space was wonderfully comfortable. Would be overjoyed to stay here again!! Thanks Tree House :)

Wonderful stay! Love yoga with Renny and the hotel is just the best vibe. Easy to locate. Safe residential area just off main area for walkable dining and cocktails. Does not disappoint any time of year.

We really enjoyed our weekend at the Treehouse. It is in a great location and is as clean as it is funky. I highly recommend The Treehouse next time you go to Birmingham!

Place was very nice and right across from a police station so your car feels safe. Almost right underneath Vulcan statue and walking distance to UAB. Only knock was I thought it was a bed and breakfast and the only breakfast was some grocery store bought bagels and cream cheese and no TV. Any other time this would have been fine but it was draft night.

Very cool Victorian home. Clean comfortable and friendly, helpful staff. The home has been moderately updated and decorated in a quirky Yogi theme. Walking distance to 5 points, UAB, & VAMC. Enjoyed my stay but be aware this is an old home in where the rooms have been converted to guest rooms. You share living spaces, not your bathroom. You across from a police substation so it’s safe.

This house is amazing! From the moment you pull up, the energy this house gives is amazing. No detail was left out. It is such a warm and inviting space. The rooms are decorated beautifully. Music was playing downstairs. Refreshments upstairs. Plenty of places to cozy up with a book and relax. I chose a couch on the wraparound porch. It was a magical place and if I ever need to stay in Birmingham again… I will chose this place every time!! Thank you for the hospitality!

We loved the house as well as the other guests. It is hard to categorized the place. I'm leaning towards hostel/ airbnb. We were assigned to the earth room, which was wonderful and relaxing, and we loved the note and details. Our favorite area was outside on the veranda (front porch). We took a midday nap out there. We also met and had amazing conversations with other guests.This place should be 5 stars for walk ability in downtown, safety, cleanest of house, creativity of the spaces and areas. The suggested improvement is communication that the owner is there, notes to label your food in the fridge. My watermelon margarita was thrown out or missing but my food was left. It seems that most of guess had trouble opening the door but the owners attempted to fix it. I was looking forward to chia breakfast pudding. Also, I wished the offered a yoga session on the weekend or sound healing. We will be back and I hope to stay in the water room next time. This place attracts some fabulous guests.

I loved the funky and historic vibe of the Tree House! It's certainly not your cookie-cutter hotel room. We needed a place to sleep after a show at a brewery, and this was perfect. We had an easy check-in, simple parking, a very comfortable bed in a spacious room (Water), and great snacks/to-go breakfast options. I'll definitely consider coming back when we return to Bham!

Kind of hippy themed with lots of peaceful, positive vibes throughout and interesting decor with the same. The bed was very comfy and there was ample parking. Easy drive to coffee shops,and drive to art museum and botanical gardens. I would recommend if you want something a little different and fun.

Nice house, not what I expected but better. Really friendly atmosphere and quiet. Very easy to communicate.with the hosts. Free parking was also good for me and a short walk to all the restaurants and university. Great place if you don’t like the boring hotels.

The house is very cute and historical. We really did enjoy our stay. It was easy to get in/out of. We are on our way to FL from Oklahoma with two kids and this was cheaper than a hotel room and we had way more space. Unfortunately, the toilet clogs really bad even when just flushing water-so this wasn’t enjoyable. The internet also didn’t work well so we weren’t able to get the TV to connect to the internet. Everything felt as clean as you can expect a historic home to be. Once my husband had to continually unclog the toilet the bathroom felt gross. Overall my kids loved the space and we definitely preferred it over a hotel room!

Cute place near campus. Very clean, comfortable house with access to fridge, coffee, bagels and fruit. Quiet porch perfect for sitting out. Each room unique. -- our room had deep tub which was concerning when taking shower but safety strips made it non slip. Easy walk to restaurants but hilly streets.
