Unique, clean and quiet place. Located in an interesting part of town with a fantastic breakfast included. Service was first rate and Poters restaurant next door was first rate. All-round a great experience.

I had a lovely spacious room and great en-suite shower room. It had everything you could want, fluffy towels and nice toiletries. A fridge with chilled water and fresh milk. Also a comfortable guest lounge with extra refreshments available. The staff were very friendly helpful and efficient.

What an absolute jem. Tucked away on the high street. Lovey and quiet with beautiful quirky rooms. Fresh milk and water in the fridge on arrival. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of options. Although thete is no parking there ate a couple of options not too far away.

We stayed for two nights mid week. Moore House is in the old town high street and has no parking space so had to park in nearby public car park which is only a problem if you have much luggage. Our room, on the top floor was very clean and comfortable. Loved the decor in the breakfast/lounge. Breakfast was lovely. Good choice and well presented. Danielle made us very welcome and is an excellent host.

We were happy with everything except the lack of parking. The site said there was onsite parking and there was not. The whole holiday I was preoccupied by parking issues as my mother has walking difficulties. The pay and desplay caroark was 5 minutes walk away and I had to swing by the hotel each time to pick mum up or drop her off. We spent over 70 pounds on parking fees which were from 7 am to 9 pm. We found the hotel to be expensive but chose it due to location and having on site parking this was untrue and misleading and the hotel said this error was down to hotel.com. This on top of my reward points being canceled the week before means I am unhappy with hotels.com and feel I will not book with them in the future as my idea of being a solid trusting company is no longer unless you can put right this situation in some way. I hope to hear back from you on this disappointing situation. Regards Rachel nowell. Ps. I am unable to add photos which show screen shots of where it says there is on site parking. If you would like to see them I would be able to email them to you.

A lovely hotel, very clean and the decor is contemporary but tasteful. Close to all areas of old Hastings with a good choice of restaurants and pubs close by. Breakfast is excellent whatever you choose and all the staff we met were very helpful and friendly a true gem hidden away in the old town. The only down side is that there is no parking at the hotel, but there are public car parks close by, or use Park on My Drive.

Excellent location. Given a warm and informative welcome on arrival. Room clean, toiletries and drink making equipment in situ. A stunning little guest house, but with all the amenities you'd expect of a hotel, Moore House was a complete delight. Charlotte the owner had been amazing arranging a few things over email, and was on hand to greet us. She was warm, friendly and helpful. Most of all this truly felt lika small family business, which is always appreciated. The hotel, lounge and room itself are beautiful and well equipped. The decor is gorgeous and has character without feeling at all gimmicky or overly quirky. Everything was spotlessly clean, and there was nothing more we could have asked for in terms of facilities. Genuinely a faultless stay, will absolutely be back.

Great staff, good location and affiliated to next door Pub/Restaurant - Porters so really easy. Super breakfast too. A word of caution if you are more than 6feet tall and have room 7 on the top floor……you can’t stand up in there !

This hotel is an Oasis. The surrounding area does not look great and entry is simply through a gate between two shops. What a surprise on entry. The whole experience of friendliness cleanliness and comfort was fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel. The food in the wine bar is also good

It’s a remote check in/check out but we were sent clear instructions ahead of the booking with a contact host to call when we arrived. Breakfast is also really good with full, vegetarian, and non vegan options. Can’t fault our stay at all, we really enjoyed it and hope to come back…

A wonderful experience! The room was absolutely spotless with everything in there that one needs.Fresh milk,fruit,yoghurts,water,tea and coffee bags and even pain eu chocolate! The en-suite was amazing,a huge walk in shower that had really good water pressure.I will definitely be staying there again …

Lovely, boutique B&B. check in process very simple. Room was clean and nicely decorated (RX2). Great location close to many good bars and places to eat. Breakfast was good and the staff member we saw on our stay was very friendly and smiley. Only negatives for us: no hooks or rails in the bathroom so nowhere to hang towels. Only one coat hanger provided in the wardrobe.

Wonderful place in the middle of the old town. Beautiful rooms, nice and quiet with the exception of the late evening festivities on occasion - but that’s the old town. Nothing too bad! Breakfast is always a delight and the woman the hosts it all is super friendly and accommodating.

Really nice bedroom and bathroom. Really good location in the centre of Old Town but very quiet. Real milk in the fridge for our tea! The staff were very friendly and helpful, even providing us with an early breakfast so that would have plenty of time to get to a funeral following our stay. Thank you so much, we will drfinitely be back.

The Moore House gets all the big stuff and as well as the details. A beautiful room with a luxurious shower in a cute building right in the heart of Hastings. We didn’t have a rental car and just walked everywhere, which worked out great. The staff were all top-notch and the breakfast was something we looked forward to every day. We love this place and will stay here on our next trip to Hastings.

Lovely location in the old town of Hastings, just a couple of minutes walk from the net houses, the East hill lift (although this was closed when we visited) and on a street with multiple nice pubs and shops. Really comfortable bed with top quality linens, and a very nice breakfast

A lovely hotel, very clean and the decor is contemporary but tasteful. Close to all areas of old Hastings with a good choice of restaurants and pubs close by. Breakfast is excellent whatever you choose and all the staff we met were very helpful and friendly a true gem hidden away in the old town. The only down side is that there is no parking at the hotel, but there are public car parks close by, or use Park on My Drive.

We stayed in at Moore House for two nights and it was lovely. The room was beautiful, breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly. It is in a good location, with the old High St and George St nearby with nice little shops and places to eat and drink.

The hotel is in a great location in Hastings Old Town close to shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, v. comfortable and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful, including Porters next door (good wine bar/restaurant associated with the hotel). It’s a remote check in/check out but we were sent clear instructions ahead of the booking with a contact host to call when we arrived. Breakfast is also really good with full, vegetarian, and non vegan options. Can’t fault our stay at all, we really enjoyed it and hope to come back…

The Moore House gets all the big stuff and as well as the details. A beautiful room with a luxurious shower in a cute building right in the heart of Hastings. We didn’t have a rental car and just walked everywhere, which worked out great. The staff were all top-notch and the breakfast was something we looked forward to every day. We love this place and will stay here on our next trip to Hastings.

Wonderful place in the middle of the old town. Beautiful rooms, nice and quiet with the exception of the late evening festivities on occasion - but that’s the old town. Nothing too bad! Breakfast is always a delight and the woman the hosts it all is super friendly and accommodating.

Location: perfect, in the heart of the old town and seconds walk from fabulous George Street and many great restaurants. Staff: absolutely incredible. Warm, welcoming, helpful (the housekeeper Meg - I think that was her name - took time to find info in live music for us) and the owners also kept in contact before our arrival. Breakfast: again it was superb. Had two different things from the menu in each day and the quality, taste and way it was all cooked was exceptional. Best I’ve had in years. Amenities: Huge fantastic room (RX4). Big chaise longue, plenty of seating, great en-suite, well stocked tea tray which you can replenish from supplies in the lounge area. Lounge/breakfast room incredible. Decor is fabulous. Sleep: bed was really comfy, but we didn’t sleep too well on the first night. This was not the fault of the hotel, it was blowing a 40mph wind outside and it made the sash windows rattle which was fixed with a strategically placed tea bag. It’s a grade 2 listed building, you can’t knock the owners for this. Overall 10/10

Great staff, good location and affiliated to next door Pub/Restaurant - Porters so really easy. Super breakfast too. A word of caution if you are more than 6feet tall and have room 7 on the top floor……you can’t stand up in there !

We absolutely adored our stay at Moore House! George was so helpful and welcoming and our room was very clean and comfortable. It was in a great location in old town, close to the beach and a lot of good pubs, restaurants and cute shops. The breakfast was really delicious and the entire building is beautifully decorated. We highly recommend staying here!
