The hotel and our room was welcoming and clean. The site team members were friendly and helpful. The only complaint was that there was no parking close to the hotel after 8:00pm as it’s located next to a bar & grill that had large amounts of guests that consumed all the parking spaces.

We had to move hotels from the one next door. They were basically the same room except the other hotel had dishes and supplies in the kitchen but My place did not have any of that,no dishes,utensils, pots and pans,cutting board,scrub brush. Also the laundry machines were free. At My place they are $2.00 a piece.

Overall not bad. Parking was very limited since it shared with the several restaurants and bars in the same block. Also the show had absolutely no pressure which making shower time not so good. Otherwise it was pretty clean.

It was a lovely visit. Comfy clean room with full fudge, microwave and cook top. This is my second visit and will be back. No fitness center or breakfast but there are great places like Shack nearby

The room itself was just OK. No soap in the shower pump. All parking spots were taken, many of which were being used by the restaurant next door. Spots opened up toward closing time of the restaurant. Price was extremely high for what you get.

The room was spotless and very comfortable. The location was fantastic in a very nice area. I recently stayed at a Hilton in St Louis and I liked this hotel much better. I felt much more at home. Fun fact - the shampoo/conditioner/body wash was the same used at the Hilton

We have stayed here a couple of times before and it was cleaner. This time we found items in the room that were from other guests. The bathroom shower curtain smelled really sour. The bathroom also smelled of urine. Probably won’t stay here again.

Just wasn’t clean enough. Found hairs in my blanket when first opened. Hairs in the bathroom around the sink, and in the towels as well. Very gross. I asked for more towels and most of them were dirty too. They also didn’t vacuum the floor

There is hair in the refrigerator door shelves. Quite a lot. Hair in the tub, and hair all over the toilet. Whoever says they cleaned room 100 needs to be let go. I took pictures tried to let guy at front desk know went up there twice and didn’t see him. Bed sheets look fresh and clean so I’m gonna deal with it. It’s late.

When I first checked in, someone had use the restroom and not flushed the toilet the trash was full and there was leftover Mexican food molded in the fridge. The floors were really dirty. I talked to the guy at the front desk and he did give us a different room.

My place was a great hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice and welcoming. The area was extremely nice and had so many options for shopping and dining. I felt very safe and would highly recommend.

The room was not very clean. The refrigerator was dirty inside. There was grape juice or something purple all over the inside. The microwave was dirty and greasy on the outside. The handles on the kitchen cabinets were dirty. The outside of the cabinets were dirty as well. The walls are very thin and you can here people coming and going all the time. Very hard to sleep in.

Disappointing Stay – Poor Cleanliness and No Follow-Up I had a very disappointing experience at this property. The room was dirty—there were hair strands on the toilet seat and around the sink, and one of the towels was discolored. All the shampoo and body wash containers were completely empty, which I only discovered once I was already in the shower. To make matters worse, the room had a very unpleasant smell. I arrived around 2 a.m. and ended up checking out by 4 p.m. the same day, even though I had booked the room for two nights. I just couldn’t tolerate the condition of the room. I spoke with a front desk representative and also with the housekeeping supervisor, who told me she would get back to me with an explanation and a possible resolution. It’s been over a week, and I still haven’t heard anything. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this property.

Place was clean and cheap but the walls are so thin. We could hear when everyone got to their rooms all night. Around 11:00 pm the people on the floor above us got to their room and someone ran our stomped around from one end of the room to the other and up and down the hallway until 1:30 am. Said something to the front desk about it around midnight but it kept going. They picked it back up around 7:00 am. Not the hotel’s fault, but we heard every little bit of it. Could hear the conversation of the people in the room next to us also. Seems to be geared more towards people working jobs out of town for extended periods. Was a clean, low priced room but will avoid when traveling with the family in the future.

Even though there is a kitchen they will give you no dishes as it is against the rules due to no dishwasher. This should be explicitly advertised. I’m not sure that’s a hotel issue or a Travelocity one. They did give us a package of paper plates/bowls and plastic utensils for free. Room size was fine. Everything worked. Bath products were fine. Bed was very comfortable. AC/heating unit was touchy - hard to get the right temp with it being by the window instead of central, but we made due. Property is bare minimum, but for the price it’s a good value. We found it quiet. The Wi-Fi wasn’t the fastest, but it certainly was not the worst we’ve had. We spent a lot eating out due to the lack of cookware, but heating up leftovers in the microwave saved a meal per day.

First stay at MyPlace. Room was spacious, clean, beds comfortable. Full size refrigerator, hot plate and microwave. You either have to bring your own plates, silverware, pots or rent them from the front desk which is an interesting concept. The only complaint was that the doors to the room were not very good at blocking out sound. You could hear people out in the hallway and next door.

Why bother putting in and advertising a stove/kitchen and not provide pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, utensils, etc? You would either have to bring your own items or buy them to use the stove or prepare and eat a meal in your room! Very disappointing to get to your room expecting to be able to cook and not be able to!

We got there at 3 the room.was not ready...check in was 3! We were to come back when they called asked about a discount for inconvenience..manager did look.at me said I am not giving a discount check in is at 3.. what time is it.. agent said its 3.. he said put them in 210.. the room stunk.. there was sand or rust came out of the bathroom tub faucet. It was very loud above us.. yes they cant control that.. truly would NEVER stay there again. Manager was a rude jerk.. never looked at me or said sorry.. just his nasty attitude.

Upon arrival to hotel room had trash in it and apparent food on counters, so I wiped down room area. When we took trash to front desk and told them about issue, they only said sorry, but did not offer another room. Did not have an option to go elsewhere as other hotels were already booked for the days we were staying, so we decided to just stay put. Then later in the week we requested a late checkout because we are rewards members of My Place hotels, which they adamantly declined, stating that they needed to get rooms cleaned before check in at 3pm, we stated that we checked in at 8:30pm and our room hadn't been cleaned, so why would requesting an hour later check out make a difference? The front desk clerk at the time stated that our name would be put on a list and we would not be allowed to stay there anymore. So due to these issues, do NOT recommend the My Place hotel at Overland Park, KS.

Arrived around 7:30p with no one at the desk. There was a sign stating they were away, helping a guest but it was not where one would check in.Another guest and I joked about taking snacks and sodas but of course we didn't. I walked behind the desk and no one. The other guest finally called the desk from the lobby phone and out pops the employee. Once in the room, I went out to the car 3 different times and again, no one at the desk, however, the sign was now where one would stand to check. in. I did like the full size frig. Room was clean and big enough for me, even with a king beg. Could not get on the internet.

I’ve stayed there a few times. It’s been my favorite for awhile now. No issues with room or parking. When I was there to check in. No one came to the desk. I went looking for a bathroom and heard someone in there in their phone. I used a cart and had my truck unloaded before anyone came to the desk. This was around 8:30pm

Second time my daughter and I have stayed here. Easy drive from the River Market, West Bottoms, Crown Center and Plaza. Less than 30 minutes. More affordable than the Plaza. On-site parking included. Lots of restaurants nearby. Microwave, stove stop and full-sized fridge with ice maker. Will definitely stay again.

Great place for an overnight stay. Tons of restaurants, stores, etc. Walking trail close by. Overland Park is a fantastic suburb. Top notch rating.

Comfortable well equipped room. Super friendly staff. Coffee on reception was welcome. Close to lots of stores and Coach’s Bar/Restaurant across the car park is great for food and drinks.

All pretty nice. Pros: friendly staff, clean, good price, faiy well appointed room with kitchenette Cons: room and bathroom could either be dark or way too bright, though there was an okay light by the beds. Typical terrible hotel coffee. I'll probably come back, though. Nice place.
