Hyatt House Nashville/Franklin/Cool Springs

The shower door in our room was incredibly difficult to open. My wife couldn’t do it and I had trouble. Fortunately, the day clerk Becky was very accommodating and allowed us to switch rooms to a kitchenette at no cost. The pool was clean and very refreshing. The bartender was incredibly friendly and the drinks were strong. The bar claimed to have a kitchen but it was closed all 3 nights we were there which was disappointing but there were plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was pretty good. The outside deck was VERY nice with several fireplaces and grills to cook on if you desired.

The happy hour music from the bar area was extremely loud when we entered lobby to check in. We were there to attend a concert & when we returned back to the hotel there was no parking space open. We had to park in the large parking area behind the hotel & walk. We loved the hotel otherwise & would book again if in the area.

This was a very well kept property overall central to multiple restaurants and a Wal-Mart within walking distance. The room was nice and spacious and had a home away from home feel to it. The beds were comfy and the linens were fresh. Amenities such as microwave, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and sink. The outside offered a relaxing terrace with bbq grills, tv and plenty of seating. The dining area was also nice. They also offer an evening cocktail, tho it was closed during my stay. Parking was free and seemed to be fairly safe. There was a guy just kind of hanging around the parking lot during my stay, but I'm not sure if he was another guest or a local. Additionally, be careful using side doors for a quicker exit. You may end up walking further to your car. A few other issues would be the surface cleaning in the bathroom. The shower could definitely use a deeper cleaning. On the surface, it appeared clean. However, there was scum starting to accumulate on the glass and the flooring of the shower was starting to become dingy. The walls were thin so you'll definitely be able to hear your neighbor if they're more of a loud talker. This property also has a policy that is posted of entering rooms within the first 24 hours of your stay so be mindful of that. Lastly, the breakfast was horrible. Not sure if it was just a bad day, but everything was either under cooked or overcooked. However, multiple places to grab breakfast near. All in all nice property and would stay again.

The elevators were kind of rocky and made a lot of noise when it stopped at your floor then on Sunday 2 patrons were stuck in the elevator

Everything was good my only 2 complaints was thay on our 2 day the pool was dirty and it took them a minute to get it cleaned and the housekeeping staff walked in on my son taking a shower with the do not disturb sogn on the door.

The hotel is very modern and nice. When you arrive, you’ll see the breakfast area and there is also a nice patio with a TV. Check in was very easy and quick. There is an indoor heated pool. There is no hot tub. There is also a fitness room next door to the pool. The breakfast area is nice and modern but the food itself is not great. It’s presented nice. Sausage, eggs and pancakes are the basics. The fruit was good. The rooms are modern and nicely arranged. The bathroom door is a barn door and the bathroom is very pretty. There are electronic blinds- blackout and sheer. One large TV, couch, large bar which doubles as a desk with plug outlets. The only draw backs for me was no hot tub and the food didn’t taste that great. Otherwise, I was very happy with the price, cleanliness and amenities. The location of the hotel is my favorite area to stay. Lots of restaurants and the mall is close by. Downtown Franklin is also close by.

Good overall; let me check in early; clean; great breakfast; good location; only one elevator working; housekeeping played loud music and talked loudly in halls; housekeeping knocked on doors before checkout time (use digital report to see empty rooms)

The hotel was clean and updated. We were very happy with our stay. The only issue was when we opened the hide-a-bed, there were chip crumbs. We were also given two flat sheets and no mattress sheet. Everything else was great!

I always stay at the Hyatt House when traveling for work. I've never had a bad moment at this location but it wasn't as clean as normally. I had to deep clean the bathroom myself and the elevators floors were sticky.

Clean and comfy rooms. Quiet night and got great sleep. It’s also in a wonderful place.

Very large rooms with good variety of amenities. Clean, quiet, safe and walkable to restaurants. Receptionist named Tree was wonderful, kind and proficient. I had six rooms for a long wedding weekend and all my guests were very impressed as well.

The room I was given had cracks in its ceiling and the room door was super hard to open because it rubbed on the metal frame. The bedding also looked like it had already been slept in. As if they had only changed the top layer.

Beautiful hotel! Clean, quiet and friendly staff. Great breakfast and bar. Loved the outdoor lounge area. Close to shopping mall, theater and restaurants. I definitely recommend the Hyatt House in Nashville/Cool Springs Franklin, TN.

Unfortunately the omelet bar was closed during our stay. Good breakfast otherwise. Room was beautiful- new, clean, tastefully decorated. Elevators were fast and immaculate. Very comfortable hotel!

I reserved a room with a king bed and a bathtub. The room I received had two queen beds and a shower. I reserved the room four months ahead, why didn't I receive the room I reserved and paid for? Seems like bait and switch, I will not use Hotels.com to reserve hotels again because I cannot trust that I will receive what I paid for. Also, the room was no cleaned properly. Long black hairs on the kitchen counter and toilet lid when I checked in. Human toenails and food on the floor around the bed, gross...

Such large, clean rooms with comfortable beds! We've stayed here a few times passing through the area and we have always been pleased.

The hotel is always clean. We have stayed a few times while in Franklin. They have a pretty extensive breakfast and plenty of seating space in the lobby. The only issue we had was the room never cooled off. We set the thermostat to 67 and it never got cool. The temperature outside was in the low 50s so it really shouldn’t have been that hot in the room. Overall we would stay again.

Spacious, clean rooms. with a kitchenette. Nice bathroom. Small living area, comfortable bed. Large screen tv. Windows that open for fresh air. There were a few down falls. The air conditioning did not cool down the room. Thank goodness for the windows that opened. Would have been miserable in the summer time. Indoor heated pool was cold as ice water. And the continental breakfast was subpar for the quilt of the hotel.

Room was clean and nice. Problem was the shower. Hotel has poor water pressure and shower water just trickles out. Worst shower I have ever used in all my years of traveling. I will not stay there again.

We had a corner suite that was bigger than my apartment, with windows in all three rooms and plenty of space for three people to do separate things and not be criwded

We liked the convenience of having a spacious room with sofa and kitchen.

Came back to this place after staying here a couple years ago. The room was fine. My husband and I shared the pull out couch while my kids and the dog slept on the king size bed. Would have been perfect if the pull out sofa had a comfortable mattress or even if they offered a futon style bed. Our joints and backs were destroyed. Drove back home six hours to head straight to a chiropractor. Also my husband had to close our air vent as it was blowing super cold air even after we tried adjusting the temp. They also had an abnoxious 40th birthday with loud music blasting but we were so tired that we just went to bed. Would stay again but please please get better pull out beds

The hotel was very nice, the rooms were nice. the breakfast was great. a lot of options for breakfast.the parking was not great and the beds were very hard.

Loved the large room that included a living room

The room layout was perfect for that “at home” kind of stay. Felt private and roomy. Bathroom door was solid wood so potty time was a solo event (literally and sound wise). Great couch, great beds, get bathroom and vanity, awesome kitchen area, tons of places to put luggage and such. Awesome place!

Upon arrival, our window shades (operated electrically) did not work. So the front desk person upgraded us to a much bigger accommodation across the hallway. It was great for our 2-day stay.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times in the last three years and it was always great. This time was a nightmare. They gave our 2 queen bed room away and assigned us a king bed suite on the LL with no cell service and broken lock. Then they moved us to a regular king size room when what we needed was 2 beds. They tried to say it was an upgrade to have some members of our party sleep on the couch unless they expected all of us to sleep in the king bed. They claimed they were going to move us to right room the second night but manager was not there in the morning and we were told our room would be moved when he arrived but we had a 10am appt so had to leave. I guess they wanted us to cancel all our plans waiting on manager then clerk at check out tried to claim we refused to move to try and not reimburse us for first night. When we finally got back to hotel at end of night our keys didn’t work and they couldn’t make us new keys until clerk figured out someone had checked us out of the room without moving our room? This hotel was horribly managed. I want the previous manager back, she was a treasure. I have several booked for May and am thinking whether it’s worth the headaches the incompetence caused. To boot housekeeping knocked on our door sometime after 8am so if you are planning to sleep in you better put up the do not disturb sign. They also don’t clean the rooms which is something hotels everywhere are getting away with post Covid. More profits for them.

I left items in my room when I checked out. The staff at the hotel have refused to return the items, or even address the situation. Lacey the lost and found manager seemed to give me a “too bad” attitude, and refuses to return my calls.

Paul at the front desk was STELLAR! People like him deserve to be paid way more than they typically as re in the service industry. Overall, the place was clean and the staff was amazing. Even Beth at the front desk the following day was helpful. If you're looking for a clean hotel with wonderful staff and a great location, stay here.

NEVER booking here again. Canceled my reservation 30 minutes before check in and had to spend 2 additional hours looking for a nearby hotel to sleep at. AWFUL SERVICE!!!!

Check in was easy. Person who checked us in (I think his name was Josh) was very kind. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Check out was also super quick and easy. Area around hotel was nice. Dining, shopping and highway access were all close. Would stay again.

Stayed here a couple of years ago. This time the service, cleanliness, breakfast have declined. Property looks a bit run down, minor things are not getting fixed/painted. Breakfast is not as good, oatmeal looks like concrete, orange juice tastes like water, etc. Half the employees seem like you are disturbing their game/phone call, barely a smile. Still a nice place but if they keep this up it won't take long to be below average.

Convenient property for Franklin Cool Springs area. Hotel room was very clean and new. Only issues were housekeeping kept waking me up and no do not disturb. Food at bar was not good.

Typically a great hotel. The breakfast was marginal this last visit - it appeared that no one was in charge of the area / food. No plates, Coffee slow to be refilled, etc. I will be back.

Staff are very friendly and the hotel was clean and in good condition. The only reason I marked it good instead of excellent was because the breakfast was lacking. They had a container for scrambled eggs, but no scrambled eggs were put out. The selection was not as extensive as other people had noted.

The hotel was in a fantastic location and extremely clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the walk-in shower was wonderful. My only complaint was the breakfast. The food selection was limited. The food that was available was soggy and/or cold. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to stay there again.
