Staff was very kind, the stay was unpleasant. There was no hot water in our room, the pool we looked forward to using was having maintenance done, and the elevator stopped working while we were inside it. Overall, probably the worst hotel stay I have ever had.

Excellent stay… I have the overall stay a 4 instead of a 5 only because only one elevator was in service which made for a longer wait during high traffic times.

when we walked into the brand new Holiday Inn, it smelled like sewage and the lady at the front desk told us that there is a sewage plant nearby and that sometimes it smells like that. We were there for three nights and it reeked the entire time in the lobby. We had to run outside and inside to get away from the smell. It was awful. Pool was “broken” and would turn you orange according to staff. Booked third party so couldn’t leave. Do not book here.

The hotel was fine, but one of the elevators was out of service, the ice machine on our floor wasn't working, the whole place had a slight sewer smell, and it was very loud. We could hear every noise from the floor above us and people were walking/stomping around all evening and by 7am.

The room smelled like a swamp and most likely was mildew or mold since the air conditioner unit was leaking on the carpet. Carpet was stained in multiple places. The entrance looked unkempt with weeds growing all around. Not really any free amenities including water in the lobby.

Hotel is clean however an hour into our stay the cable service to the tv stopped. Service desk states it’s the service provider due to weather related in a different city with unknown time to be fixed. Nothing was provided or offered to compensate the inconvenience

Great staff here! 2 problems popped up though - paper thin walls, and a car in the parking lot had the alarm go off several times. Was able to sleep about 4 hours a night just due to noise. The location, staff, and restaurant/bar folks were all amazing - only issue was noise.

The room itself was fine and the restaurant area was nice. The staff gave my room to someone else before I arrived and it was a mess to get sorted out. The man working the front desk was very frustrating and clearly not focused on customer service. All of the women I encountered at the front desk were kind and at least apologetic for the mistake and tried to get it sorted out.

The staff was extremely friendly and was very attentive to our concerns. We checked in and had to rush out for our show but our room had an off putting odor and we mentioned it and without hesitation they switched our rooms while we were out and had everything ready when we returned.

The hotel itself was very nice. It was right next to worlds of fun and several places to eat. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. The only issue that I had was that they did not clean mine or my wife’s room while we were gone. I went up to the front desk and the worker had no idea why they skipped our room. We did not have a sign on our door to ask them to come back later; but even if we did, they should’ve came back. The front desk worker apologized several times and gave us a free breakfast. It would’ve been a great stay if they would’ve just cleaned our room

The hotel was fine for what we needed. The staff was honestly the best part about it. Everyone was super friendly and helpful especially after we had issues with our room. The toilet wasn’t fully attached and leaking water everywhere. We got moved to a new room that seemed to have the same issue, but at least the staff was sweet.

Good location near Worlds of Fun. Not a lot of eating options in the area except Fast Food. Easy drive to downtown if you need to go to Power & Light. Breakfast wasn't the "help yourself" style. If you pay the upcharge you basically have to order something from the "Cafe" that is on site. Very Limited menu.

Hotel was clean and service was good my only issues with this stay is the area. It gives you the unsafe feel, appeared to have several homeless people hanging out in front of the building. We was here the night they reported an active shooter at Worlds of Fun!! And had several younger people hanging out just down the street!! I just felt unsafe!!

We liked everything about the hotel except the breakfast! We got two adult breakfasts and got free breakfast for the kids, but the French toast was inedible- some kind of weird spice they used? The sausage was undercooked or just boiled but not browned. We left breakfast half hungry so had to spend more money elsewhere so we had energy for the busy day. The room itself was clean and appeared “fresh/new”, the pool was clean but older and it need of freshening up and more seating for non swimmers. Housekeeping was on the ball and tidied up our room when we were at breakfast. We came back and the kids asked “who made the bed??”

All the staff we interacted with were very accommodating and nice. The property itself was ok if not looking at anything too closely. Appears to be a poorly executed remodel job in some areas. Spa was still advertised and signage was still up even though it had been filled in with concrete. No breakfast available as they had no staff for the 3 days we were there.
