They have an excellent breakfast, workout facility and wonderful pool/hot tub. We enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful staff, large property, nice pool

Check in was quick and friendly. Rooms are still in newer condition. Loved the lobby amenities of pool table and board games.

Great location. Easy walking distance to cafes and historic 25th. Liked the large eating area and there was a very good sized fitness center. I'd stay here or in another Tru (especially one that was a combo extended stay facility)

We stayed for one night and had a great experience overall. The facilities and room were very clean, and the shower was both clean and refreshing—although I do recall it flooding, which was a bit of a downside. We used the pool and the exercise room. The pool area was quite crowded, and seating was very limited, which made it less relaxing. The location is excellent—right downtown—and while we didn’t explore the surrounding area much, it looked very walkable.

We like it here. But pool is cold and hottub is dirty and not functioning. Breakfast is good but they have shorter time than other hotels and fill out food pretty slow. Not meeting the expectations we paid for the hotel.

The breakfast at this tru was incredible. Tons of options. The gym is also huge and had a lot of options.

Nice facility with good public spaces to include pool, hot tub, indoor sitting area, and fire pit. Had room with king bed which was small but well laid out so it did not feel cramped. Rooms well insulated so did not hear city noises or other rooms. Traveled with pet and they were quite supportive. Several great casual restaurants within a block.

It was great experience . To the staff greeting us and getting checked in to our departure. Breakfast had a great variety. Pool and weight room was great and clean.

This was a clean no frills place. Room was small, and air conditioner was very loud. Elevator was creaky, and there was loud street noise late at night. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable.

Wonderful stay always so clean . Love the soaps and amenities they offer that are so nice . Friendly service and good pricing deals . Pool was nice and clean .

Like dozens of other reviews mention, the hotel is very poorly constructed. It's right next to a busy road with no sound proofing. All night you hear loud vehicles and large trucks driving by. It's a cheap stay which is nice, but a bummer on the noise issues. The rooms are also extremely small. There is no room to even open a full size suitcase all the way. The room was clean.

Everything was wonderful. The only complaint I would have would be that the cushions on all the chairs, couches, etc. needed to be cleaned

It was the perfect location to enjoy downtown Ogden. My only complaint was that the shower in the bathroom was not cleaned well. Housekeeping was too hasty to turn the room over and overlooked hairs in the shower. But the rest of the room and the property was clean and well maintained.

Definitely not worth the price. No restaurant or bar. Rooms are very small - size of a NYC hotel room. The only thing in the room was one paper cup. Really disappointing for the price.

Minimal conviences...no water glasses in room, no coffee pot. Paper thin walls naking our next door neighbor conversstions easily heard. If youre interested in sleeping, bring ear plugs...or choose another location.

Rooms are smaller than typical hotels. There are no in room coffee makers, or microwave. This was a good location for the Ogden Marathon, it was close to the event and many restaurants within walking distance. Due to size and sparse amenities I will not stay in another Tru hotel if something else is available. Staff was very friendly.

This room was very load with street noise and could not sleep at all. Need to get our money back. The service person said you booked from a 3rd party and yon need to contact them.

Extremely noisy on 24th street. My watch said I got 1 hour and 14 minutes of sleep.

Had the smallest king bed room I’ve ever stayed in, and between the street noise and the room next door with the TV turned up really loud well past 10 pm, it wasn’t the best experience. If you stay there, definitely request a room that faces the parking lot, not the street.

New, clean and modern. With easy walks to food and drinks. The rooms are small and there aren’t any dressers, so a limiting factor if staying longer than 2 days. We could hear our neighbors chatting from5 am to 6 am.

Except for check in, everything was excellent. We got there just as shift changed. The person there was just leaving and did throw at us there would be someone out in a minute. But we stood there for a while before someone came out and she went straight to the computer and acted as if we weren’t there. She finally asked us if we had checked in, so the person before us didn’t let her know we were waiting.

Even after confirming with front desk check in staff room was away from elevators and in quiet area received room with front windows facing busy street. Street car and siren noice continued throughout nite. Sleep became sporadic. Room was very very overpriced and disappointing. If this is the type of room given to hotels.com then perhaps changes to website room booking info needs to be changed. Beware!! Lastly had to wait for front desk staff to show up upon check out at prime check out time. Never asked for feedback on overnight stay or cared! How disappointing!

I have stayed at Tru and Home2 Suites several times. Each time, the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast offered a great variety of food. I truly enjoyed my stay on each occasion and always looked forward to returning and seeing the staff.

Stopped in Ogden for one night with my wife on our drive to Jackson Wy. The property was nice and a short walk to all the restaurants and stores. The room is on the smaller side but was ok for a night. The lobby has a pool table and games which is a nice touch. My only complaint is that we arrived 1 hour early and when we asked if they had early check in they said it would be $50 for that 1 hour. We travel often and we've never had a hotel with an availability charge us for it. I would rather you tell me you have nothing available yet than to insult me with a ridiculous charge.

We were only here for one night…passing through. Front desk person was very friendly and cheerful when we arrived at 9:30 PM:)

This hotel has a brand new feel and I really wanted to rate excellent. There were a few things if fixed which would make this hotel amazing! It doesn’t have coffee available in the rooms. For someone who likes coffee right when they wake up, this is an inconvenience and if I have to go downstairs in the am then the coffee pot should always be ready and coffee cups readily available. On Saturday, 1/13 this was not the case. Also, the breakfast service which is part of your reservation was lacking. There were multiple times when there was nothing available. I got eggs and potatoes, both cold. I made a waffle and there was no syrup. An inquiry revealed the resupply truck was running late. It happens but then you should have a note letting guests know and everything else should be on point. Sadly, it was lacking. These things can be fixed easily and I hope they are. Also, cleaning of the rooms is supposed to be every other day. We checked in on Thursday. Housekeeping should have cleaned on Saturday but did not. We did have the do not disturb sign on until 11am but then we left for the remainder of the day. Housekeeping saw us leave and should have gone back to check. We were disappointed to come back and room was not cleaned. Once these issues are addressed, it would easily be an excellent rating. It’s also a prime location and has plenty of parking!

We want to acknowledge your staff member Brayden. We checked in late with a very special vehicle. We felt a little uncomfortable with the parking for our Corvette. He made a special effort to find us a spot near the door and in view from the desk so we could feel safer. He went above and beyond for us and we are grateful! By the way, we learned later he is a new employee. Keep him!

Base of operations for skiing at Snowbasin. Bus stop for resort is across the street. Would stay again.

A nice hotel in downtown Ogden. It's a great location, right next to the Slackwater pizza, which is some of the best pizza in Utah.

The hotel and amenities were great. What wasn’t so great was the location. It was located next to a major road onto the interstate, and the windows weren’t sound proofed for that side of the hotel. Also the area around the hotel we encountered homeless people, and there were vacant lots and buildings possibly undergoing renovations.

Clean, well kept accommodation with the option of using your cell phone as a key. Within walking distance of many great restaurants and places to shop. Great complimentary breakfast and a 24/7 convenience store on the first floor

the free breakfast was offered but there was very limited food and most of the food trays were empty. They offered cereal but dud not have milk. They did not even have cutlery or plates and people had to wait for them

Beautiful newer hotel in downtown Ogden. Easy parking, well kept hotel, lovely people at check-in. The breakfast has some of the most appealing choices: breakfast sandwiches, pancakes as well as the common waffle area, and better sausages than most. But appealing doesn’t mean edible! We were disappointed to find that most of our food was cold in the center. Even the breakfast potatoes. It isn’t because it was sitting around, either (breakfast opened at 7 and we were there at 7:10). It’s because everything was previously frozen and reheated but not well enough. I got a beautiful breakfast sandwich and bit into an icy-cold breakfast patty! Yuck! If we had more time maybe we could have done something about it, but we had to quickly choose a bagel and be on our way by then. The first serving went into the trash for three of us. What a waste! Younger members of our group loved the waffle fixings though.

We were very frustrated that the website says breakfast at 6:00 but on the weekend it was 7:00… this really was frustrating for an early morning appt

We are always well taken care of when we stay at this hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. My only complaint this time was breakfast was not so good. My husband nice day there on a Friday night and returned and stayed there on a Sunday night. The Friday to Saturday stay was great but the breakfast on the Sunday to Monday day was not so good. I noticed when I had breakfast on Saturday morning they had no pepper on Monday morning. I asked for pepper and I was told that they had none. Also, there was some items that were not working and they served turkey sausage, no bacon and the sausage was not good. The breakfast was not as good as it usually is.
