Neither the website or hotel mentioned hotel was under renovation. Bar and sports theater were closed. Pool is not a pool, it’s a hot tub/spa- it was nice but keep that in mind if you have small kids. Floor in bedroom was filthy, our socks were black within minutes. Bedroom and bathroom are in same space with open door on toilet so zero privacy when going to the bathroom.

It was clean but we were misled, we were aware of renovations but were told there would be a full menu, bar would remain open till at least 10 PM , neither one was true. Extremely limited menu with just a handful of tables and chairs in middle of lobby since drapes were around the main area supposedly under construction , even though we were there 3 days and never saw anything happening. Bar closed down at 8 PM. So needles to say all 4 of us was very disappointed.

We had an option to book a couple of places and we chose this one because of the pictures that were on the website. It was mentioned that there would be some slight construction, but what we saw was a joke. By the time we got there, all the other hotels were full or we would have canceled our stay. It looked like a makeshift bingo hall downstairs in the lobby, and the area set up for food and dining was laughable. There was no weight room, and the outside bar was completely shut down. Not to mention, zero privacy in the rooms. Shawty design and craftsmanship. Made it very uncomfortable because we had other guests with us and there was no privacy in the way the bathroom was designed. We had to ask us to leave the room or turn around while we try to shower or dress. The room smelled horrible. The pictures online were glossed up and Photoshop to make this place seem like it was nice. Highly disappointed. Definitely not worth the price. Felt like an upgraded Motel 6. Trying to get small compensation and management would not meet us halfway.

Way overpriced. Construction is one thing but it’s super 8 quality in location, cleanliness, amenities. Staff was great despite. Called to make sure airport transfer available and was told til 2am. Our flight arrived at 130, called for transfer and was told the guy went home. 30 dollar cab, would’ve stayed anywhere else if no transfer. 2stars

It was dirty (1 example brown marks on walls in bathroom) it was next to the highway in a sketch location, heard traffic all night, the bathroom has no door. Curtains had holes in them, the floor was nasty

The property was very nice and clean. Staff was helpful and it was quick to check in. However, the corners of the bathroom shower were moldy. This is unsafe and not a good look for the company has there been previously medical issues or sensitivities to mold.

I am very disappointed in the quality of this hotel. I had to have my room moved three times due to each room smelling of marijuanna - even though the hotel claimed to be smoke free. The second room I was moved to only had a made bed - other than that, it looked unclean. Appeared to be very run down in comparison to the pictures on website. Staff members were friendly, but it appeared that the one member was high. I would not recommend staying at this hotel and am disappointed that I have not received a refund especially since I had to book another hotel.

I booked a one night stay here for an unexpected layover. The neighborhood didn’t seem great and immediately when I walked into the lobby it smelled strongly of weed. I checked in, my room key didn’t work. The front desk said to try again…still didn’t work. Maintenance had to come change the battery in the door lock. I went into the room and could immediately tell it wasn’t clean. The couch had multiple stains on it, cabinets in the sitting room area were dirty with stains on them. The bathroom sink had hair in it. The room stunk of weed and bleach. The lock on my door was also broken. I didn’t feel safe staying here, even just for 10 hours. The front desk manager was nice and agreed to refund me. He seemed very overwhelmed and not surprised that the room wasn’t clean.

For the most part, it was decent and filled the needs that we had. However…. There was mold in our room the entire length of the wall behind the beds. I have pics but can’t see how to upload them. The floor area in front of our ac unit, the floor was saturated with water under the flooring so that when you stepped on it water seeped up through the floorboards. For the most part front desk was great, but the one guy who was there when we commented about the mold said at first housekeeping had gone home and cleaning supplies were locked up… eventually maintenance came

It was so filthy that it was hard to to deal with. Jason at front desk took me to see another room but warned before we went that it would not be much better. I will be posting photos as every single bit of the room fro the walls to the floor to the ceiling sink and shower were filthy. Also shade was broken and stuck at top of window so there was no relief from the sun either.

The room was clean and tidy, however a bit stange layout. The shower/toilet door slid between the two. There was a frosted window between the shower and room. Several items were broken. The coffee maker, faucet and shower/toilet door.

Weird bathroom. I usually don't complain, but the water pressure was very, very poor. There was 1 door for the shower and toilet. A sliding door to just close 1 area. And the door was hard to pull. Just kinda weird. And the balcony was small enough for 1 chair. One dirty chair. The hotel was ok for what we needed it for, but I wouldn't stay there for an extended period of time.

The room size was good. The windows blind/curtain need to cover the sun better. It was too bright for me. The swimming pool more look like a hot tub water temperature was warm. Not for a hot day to use. The front desk and restaurant area was under construction. If you want to stay one night before your cruises or near airport it will be fine. If you want to stay more nights. This hotel nothing close by, it next to a highway. We can't walk to anything. We needed to call a car everytime we want to go out.

Toilet ran all night in 816. Lobby looks like construction in progress. “Fixed” partial glass panel next to sliding glass shower/toilet door was unsecured. It didn’t fall out and smash for me — but it will for the next guest. Window shade looks temporary.

The ‘balcony’ was literally in the closet and the bathroom did not have a full wall between the bedroom. I had a great view of the toilet laying down in bed with the bathroom door closed.

The bathrooms are strange. There is no door only a sliding glass door to the shower or toilet so when you step out of the shower anyone can walk in. Cheaper to order uber than pay $20 person for shuttle to Cruise port but shuttle to airport was free and pretty quick. No included breakfast

Overall this experience was poor. 1) The property was under construction. This is one of those things that you don’t find out until after you book the room and arrive at the hotel. Then, there’s nothing you can do. There was no noise associated with the construction. However it was unsightly. 2) The rooms are not well insulated from noise and therefore you can hear loud cars drag racing on the highway that runs near the hotel. The constant roar of commercial airplanes taking off lulled me right awake at 6:00am. 3) The room was dirty with hairs in the shower, cigarette burns on the furniture, and other stains here and there. The roller shade had tattered and frayed edges and was very difficult to open and close. The sliding shower glass door was also very difficult to open/close. The room #806 needed to be rehabbed. For $335/night I expected a lot nicer room.

The good Large room Balcony was nice Wine fridge Good bed Easy parking Black out blinds were effective but worn out. Fast internet The less than good: No coffee downstairs at 9:45AM King size bed with small pillows? They need to match pillow size the bed size. Overall tired in appearance. Needs a refresh. No electric plug near bed. In fairness, they send someone up to install and extension cord. Low water pressure and bathroom showerhead appeared to be partly blocked. No wine bottle opener in room. They made us go to the limited time open bar to pull the cork on a wine bottle. Black out blinds are in poor shape and need to be replaced. We ran out of shower gel so had to wash with shampoo.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, even let us have late check out to catch our cruise in the early afternoon. Only complaint was the pillows which were thin and hard. Great seafood restaurant Redezvous at the marina down the road from the hotel. Had dinner and breakfast there.

A GOOD CHOICE before your cruise. The hotel is probably 3 miles or a less from port Everglades and the airport. Everyone's talking about Alysssa. She's the young lady who asssited us with booking complimentary airport to hotel shuttle, and also storing our luggage to checking us in early. Every step of the way she was awesome. We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale before 10 am. We shuttled to the hotel. Walked down to a restaurant called rendezvous and had lunch. Alyssa called us around noon to let us know our room was ready. This was perfect as we were traveling with our disabled daughter who needed to unwind. The rooms are nice, clean for the most part, just a few minor things could be attended to. The hotel is going through renovations, however it smells amazing. There's a restaurant on in the lobby. We didn't get a chance to try it but it's something on the menu for MOSTLY everybody. We booked our port shuttle with the same company for the next day, it's not complimentary, it's currently $15pp which is fair. The drivers are familiar with the area and crew so they get you right in. I definitely recommend this property for your pre/post cruise visit. There's not much else around the property. We did catch an Uber to Winn Dixie which is about 2 miles away for $5 both ways. I hope this helps 🙂

Great for a one night stay. Hotel staff were excellent, very friendly and kind. Rooms were nice, our only issue was the blinds for your room were completely see through so it let all of the outside light in at night. Breakfast at the hotel was quite good! Shuttle service was a bit more complicated than it needed to be. We were unaware we had to pre-book a time so trying to get picked up on arrival at FLL was a bit of a mess. It eventually worked out but we were extremely disappointed with the customer service of the shuttle company when trying to arrange pickup. I'm not sure who we spoke to but he was quite rude during all interactions. The hotel staff mentioned this was an ongoing issue, it might be time to look into another shuttle service.

Hotels.com did not tell us this hotel was under construction. It was a complete mess. When you walk in this gross curtain was hung up. The elevator was old and run down and gross. Our room was run down and did not look anything like the pictures. Our shower was dirty. Our bed was super uncomfortable! I called down for a blanket and the lady said I don’t have time to get you a blanket if you want one come and get it (was rude) So I come downstairs. She goes behind the curtain and finally comes out with a blanket that looked used and not clean or fresh! We will not be coming back here again. We paid $225 a night for this hotel - not worth that at all!

The receptionist was rude lazy, when I walk up to the front was on his phone - very unpleasant seem like her wasn’t really interested in doing his job - overall just seem lackadaisical- I ask a few questions and he was just not polite after giving me my room keys he also handed me a receipt for parking without asking or knowing if I had a car to park or not , won’t be going back/booking that hotel ever again

This hotel is a safe bet for a good stay. I traveled for business and selected as it was close to the FLL airport and hit the right price point. My room had a balcony and the 8th floor has a terrace that looks out over the airport and skyline. The biggest negative is that you'll have to pay $3-$4 for a bad cup of coffee down in the lobby as there aren't available carafes for guests OR a worse cup of coffee in the Keurig in your room. That's a let down.

Hidden gem - booked for overnight stay before cruise out of Miami. Staff incredible, very warm, generous, superb customer service. Phenomenal burger at the bar / restaurant- recommended by the bar tender . Did not disappoint.

We arrived at 8 pm and found out that the restaurant was closed because of staffing issues. The buffet breakfast that we paid 17$ for was underwhelming, it should have been included in the room rate.

What food they provided in the Restaurant was very good Monday to Saturday, but the same food was terrible on Sunday. The Sunday cook was not good. There was no where else to get food except to have grubhub every time. They had snacks at the desk for lunch because there was no lunch menu. We flew in to join a cruise so we had no way to go further afield.

I was here for 2 nights. Yes it is under renovation, but still has everything available. The check in lady was great and explained everything to me, and the bar service was fantastic (Shoutout to Steve!!!) despite being under Reno. I had the spring rolls, key lime pie.. and a few expertly made cocktails. It was quiet and I felt very safe as a solo female. Walkable to a great seafood restaurant and I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
