TRU by Hilton Ringgold

The staff were all nice. The ladies working the breakfast area were wonderful and kept everything neat and well-stocked. This hotel seems very focused on urging guests to use the common areas, which is fine for some, but I prefer more privacy. With that said, a microwave and coffee maker in the room would’ve been preferred to having to go down to the lobby areas for those. We were on the 5th floor and never had to wait for an elevator, so that was nice. We used the indoor pool and it was nice. Slightly chilly, especially compared to the very warm room, but usable. Overall, we had a nice stay, but this might not be the best chain for our travel needs. It might be perfect for yours, though.

Nice hotel! Great location off highway , near restaurants - walkable , friendly staff - Kathy 😉. Only negative comment is that Indoor swimming pool was eXTREMELY cold - felt like a polar dip than relaxing swim after a long drive . Most indoor pools other Hilton TRU locations w/ same are heated. Bkft was good variety but need to watch guests who bring pets around the food buffet MUCH closer .. ( Witnessed large black dog jumped on counter ) …no Bkft had as a result 😒

The property was well maintained and has security cameras everywhere.

Cute hotel and felt clean. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Loved the water bottle station in the lobby and available games to play. It was remarkably quiet in the room considering how busy the hotel appeared to be - probably one of the quietest hotels I've stayed at in a very long time. Only downside was an extremely cold inside pool.

Property very clean, staff friendly. Breakfast stayed well stocked but basic. The pool was entirely too cold to enjoy. This was a major disappointment to my young grandchildren who were looking forward to this trip. Room furnishings a bit too minimal for my taste. Bed comfortable and everything worked properly in the room. If it weren’t for the freezing pool and sad grandchildren would rate higher.

We only stayed one night but everything was great. Super clean. Staff was nice and friendly. Beds alittle stiff for my liking but thats personal preference not anything against the hotel. Pool was great and clean. They have snacks avaliable for purchase. Breakfast was ok. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The property and the staff are excellent. However the "temperature control pool" is VERY COLD :| NOT Child friendly.

Very clean but toilet rocked. Needed to be tightened down. I’ve is only on every other floor. Would’ve liked being given that info at check in. Check in and out I signed up for said 3pm and noon. After arriving, it was 4pm and 11am.

The construction is lacking any form of sound proofing. I heard conversations from one side and children running from the other side. Toilets flushing all night. Not relaxing. Exterior access doors from parking didn't work, creating unsafe travels in dark parking lots. I didn't feel safe. Staff weren't friendly... more robotic and disconnected.

Suggestions… Glad we got a King Bed. I would recommend new mattresses and a 4 inch topper for a plushy and better night sleep. Size of room was small and very basic. I slept fair. If this gets improved, I would stay here every weekend we visit the family. Liked having an actual shower (no tub) and shampoo and conditioner available in large squeeze pumps. Great for my long hair. Would have liked to see an exhaust fan in the bathroom to remove moisture. The hairdryer did not work in outlets I tried in the room except the bathroom. Enjoyed the indoor pool and gym. Liked the Peloton bike, Precor elliptical, treadmill and weights for use. Gym music very good. All were fine machines. Billiards table good also. Lounge area very pleasant. Breakfast was a variety. Pancakes were good. I am used to eggs with cheese at home and that would have been nice. I enjoyed the yogurt made from dairy cows in the area. Would like to see strawberries and grapes with yogurt and breakfast biscuits BEC from McDonalds available. The clock was not working in the gym and the soap pump was also not working in the bathroom beside the gym. The elevator and air conditioning were excellent. Staff got us extra towels right away. Fabulous help! Would like a lit up blue Tru sign posted at the street leading to the parking area. We passed it up a few times driving by. Suited my needs for visiting family in the area. Will stay again when these suggestions are improved.

Upon check-in I inspected my room for cleanliness only to find that my sheets were not changed from the prior customer. I notified the front desk and the clerk came up and took pictures. She offered to have the room cleaned at that time. I am just wondering how many people they do this to. Unsanitary!

There was hair all in the bathroom and I what looked like pee around the toilet. Made me wonder if the sheet were even clean… staff was amazing! Pool was beyond cold!

Room was dirty, floors sticky, hair from previous guests, stain on the bedding. Canceling our stay here for our trip back, rather find anything else. Staff (Jessica) was very friendly

Upon check in after a long day of driving the key card system was down. They couldn’t give us any keys and we had to be escorted to our rooms to be let in. Some hair along the bathroom shower base. Barely anything for food options other than some Doritos and snacks. My husband thought he was doing good buying the individual Mac n cheese and brought it up to the room for us. No microwave in the room. Prob one in lobby but too tired.All of a sudden I hear my kids screaming and there’s a cockroach in the bathroom. Called front desk and was put on hold for quite awhile. Hung up after 6-7 minutes or so and went down to front desk. They said it was probably from a guest and they’ve never had this problem before. We wanted to leave but it was already 12:30am and we have to be up at 6am. They said we could switch rooms or leave but since we booked thru hotels.com that they couldn’t refund our money and we’d have to go through them. So we ended up switching rooms at 1am. We were offered to switch to the only room left with a double queen but it didn’t have hot water. They asked if we wanted that. None of us can even take a shower in the morning now. I am so disappointed in this stay. My daughter came up with the idea to give us 2 king bed rooms so we could have hot water and all shower in the morning but they said they couldn’t do that because of the money not equaling out the same and they would get in trouble if they did. Do better HILTON. Ruined our night, sleep and next morning.

Very clean room, good amenities (soap, shampoo, mini-fridge, hairdryer). Breakfast was filling, several options to choose from, good coffee.

Easy check-in. Friendly staff. The room was cleanish. Lots of dirt in the corners and in the corners of the ceiling. A few black specs in the bed that kind of freaked me out but it was determined it was just dirt.

I stayed in room 518 which was next to the freeway and I heard loud freeway traffic all night long. I love the vibe of the hotel. It’s a really neat place. The bed was comfy. I just had the wrong room.

Noise from the interstate was loud while attempting to sleep. Needed better sound proofing. No coffee pots in rooms. Other than that it was good.

Easy access off of the interstate. Rooms were minimalist with a modern look. It was nice enough for a quick overnight stay.

Hotel was fine. No frills but clean and inviting. Interstate noise was very loud though.

Room was small, but clean, thoughtfully furnished. Breakfast was fine. Lost a star because the heater/thermostat didn't work and had to run AC to keep the unit from clunking all night. We didn't call the desk, so maybe they would have moved us or fixed it if we'd have asked

Lots of lounge areas on the first floor. Ice & water bottle fill station conveniently located by elevators. I didn't like the pillows & I could hear the cars on the interstate all night.

The staff was kind, informative and helped whenever we had a question. Thank you. Because of them, our sad circumstances was made easier. My family stayed here because my mother passed away. So thank you very much for the kindness shown over those rough few days

Everything about our stay was nice except the fact the fact that check out time is 11am not noon like it states online and no one tells you- you just find out on your own!

Accommodations were clean and we slept well. I particularly liked the soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. I wish all hotels had them, less waste and easy to squeeze the dispenser. Check-in staff was very kind and helpful.

People at the front desk were awesome

Overpriced for very basic ammenities. My night was interrupted by a call to see if I was still coming an hour and a half after I checked in and was going to sleep. Disorganized and unprofessional. At least the room seemed clean. But I would not stay here again.

Once we got checked in the stay was good and staff was incredibly friendly. The hotel cancelled our reservation before we arrived stating they tried to call and email me to which I had no record of either. Fortunately rooms were still available otherwise we would be out of a room. A few friends who have stayed at Hiltons before shared this is a new trend with the company except they did not have any more rooms and were out a hotel for the night. Be sure to arrive early I guess! We checked in around 9 pm.

Very clean, staff very friendly. Ate and had a few drinks at Jefferson’s in town and it was very good and cute area. This hotel is right off the highway so maybe request a room facing the parking lot.

Great hotel, close to Chattanooga. Brand new and big size swimming pool.

Next to the highway, so be prepared for a little bit of noise and the area around the hotel is a bit baren, but all in all in was a good night stay while traveling to and fro.

Plenty of food nearby. Great spot for people with dogs. Very safe!

Checking in was pleasant and was a welcoming staff member. Easy to get to as it is right off the highway with restaurants within walking distance and vert short drive. Hotel was pleasantly clean.

Pretty good location with very comfortable room that accommodates people very well. It’s nearby multiple fast food locations, restaurants and a Walmart too.

The property itself was nice. Our shower door seal was broken allowing water to leak all over the bathroom floor. The other major issue we had was breakfast. Breakfast is a very loose term for what was served. The coffee was ice cold, and no it was not intended to be ice coffee, and the choices were very limited. It was more of a modest continental breakfast. Otherwise it was a newly renovated hotel with solid surface floors in the room, which I really appreciate.

Road noise was bad on the interstate side. Would request a room on the opposite side if I stayed again. Sausage didn’t look like it had been cooked properly at breakfast. Eggs and pancakes were good. Air conditioner in room was loud. Otherwise very clean and comfortable place to stay while traveling.

One night stay on our way back from FL to IN. Check in was easy after hours, room was clean, & the hot breakfast buffet was excellent with choices.

This is our second stay here and the hotel is clean and quiet. Only had 1 working elevator. The breakfast was not nearly as nice as it was last year.

After a very long cross country trip, this was by far our favorite hotel. Beautiful, everything makes sense (nightlight in the bathroom) best free breakfast of my life. Slept GREAT. Pillow didn't kill my neck. I might never stay at a different rand a again.
