Quaint, but clean rooms! Super friendly staff. Make sure you bring your own snacks and drinks or change, as the vending machine is older.

The staff was so nice this is an older motel and rooms are very small but they are comfortable and room for two is what you have . There’s no door to the bathroom which is weird no privacy there but it is clean and quiet. They don’t have an ice machine or snack machines nor a pool just rooms. So if your alone traveling for a night in that area it’s worth a hot shower and clean place to stay!

Very small dated bathroom, needs repair work done. Was quiet enough but, no coffee pot, no ice machine so the refrigerator should have at least an ice tray. We had to freeze water in the provided plastic cups. Will not return.

I loved my stay and I will come back again. Quiet! Clean! VERY Easy Parking.

It was small but convient for what i needed. Only lacked an iron and iron board.

Pleasantly surprised. Everything was very nicely updated and clean. The room was small but fit our needs perfectly. Only thing I wish it had was a coffee maker, other than that no complaints

AC unit so loud. Does not have security lock on doors. Outlets are old with extension cords and surge protectors on them. Hope i dont have bed bugs! No coffee. I guess you get what you pay for but paid way too much for this.

My stay was just okay. The floors were really dirty, especially in the bathroom, like they haven’t seen a mop for a while and all the remotes in the room (for the TV and A/C) were out of battery. Also, one of the desk lamps also did not have a bulb inside and the bathroom was a bit cramped. Apart from the cleanliness of the place, it was quiet and there were no disturbances during my stay.

We ended up not staying. The walls and floors were so dirty and there were knats flying around the room.

For the Price I got this stay close to where I wanted to be. I was more than surprised by the room. Clean, smelled Fresh. I will be going down in a few weeks and I will stay her again.

You have the manager on site who also cleans the rooms. The toilet was not cleaned, the ground was sticky, fingerprints on the frig, the door and wall are dirty and a crack under the door so bugs can crawl in. The bed is uncomfortable and needs new mattress. Very small, no coffee in the room.

The room had a terrible smoke smell that caused both me and my wife to get a headache. The bed had pubic hair in it. The TV didn’t even work. There were loiterers everywhere outside. The staff was very rude to my wife when she asked some questions.

It was a good stay! It was safe, peaceful and very clean. Updated room, I loved the modern look and feel. Just what I needed for goodnight's rest after a long drive.

The room was nice. We had trouble with them finding our reservations when checking in. Check in is at an outside window, so an uncomfortable wait while they straightened it out. Room looks newly remodeled. No toilet paper upon check in, but they did bring us some. Towels were not changed and garbages were not emptied during our three day stay, which is ok for us, but might bother some people. I bruised my shin on the metal bed frame. Room is small and there is no closet or dresser for clothes. No towel racks in the bathroom or by the sink for the hand towel. Area felt safe. We would stay here again if in the area.

The facility is a good one for the price paid. The building is old (built 1940s-1950s) but the room had been remodeled recently in a contemporary style with a modern bathroom, shower, and furniture. It was small by today’s standards (the double-size bed takes up most of the space) but fine for traveling solo. The one thing I didn’t like was the lighting: the ceiling light was way too bright for evening relaxation and the nightstand light was not bright enough for reading comfortably. I had brought a print book to read but gave up and read web pages on my phone.

Too small, too old. Definitely needs work and updating. Couldn’t lock the deadbolt on the door, have to sit sideways on the toilet because bathroom is so tiny. Needs a deep cleaning and paint. Check in was easy

Horrible! Based on pictures it looks nice and renovated but… it is overpriced motel. I would start with 24h front desk. I was waiting 30 min until person came from shopping. The room - yeah, it is sort of renovated but it smelt like toxic glue or other construction chemicals. Dust, sand and dead bugs everywhere. Stained towels with someone’s hairs.Wobbly toilet. Zero or insignificant WiFi signal, I was not able to use it.

The room was OK, but the bathroom was a 0 on a scale to 10. It is not designed for normal use and some aspects like the light switch were outright disgusting. WiFi is spotty at best and lots of time not working. The high up in the wall A/C unit has no accessible control in the room and upon arrival was set at 66 deg and kept loudly blasting continuously. I had to clime onto a chair to set it to a normal temperature and regulated mode. I will clearly never go back to this Motel.

It’s a really small place very noisy. I grew up in the neiborhood and I went out of my way to try and support the property hoping something would be successful. But the manager seems to try and go out of his way to be a sob! I’ve stayed there at least a dozen times and never complained. But I had enough the manager is very disrespectful. He acts like he is doing you a favor to rent you a room. I’ve never payed over $60 a night any more and I would never had stayed there. The batteries are always dead in the remotes. The last two times there was food left in the refrigerator from the people before me or maybe before them. I have no idea. I stood back and watch the man go from unit to unit to see if he actually changes the linen or if he just like remake them and I’ve never seen him walk out with linen so I think he just remake them and use the same line over again. I’m sorry I hate to give a bad review for somebody but the way he treated me the last time I was there was just wrong. He refused me service because he said I didn’t turn the key in, which is a lie. He never has his office open. He always has the blinds closed yet to ring the doorbell and wait for him to come he has a little box there where you can drop the key off and I’ve always dropped the key off and never never stayed late always left earlybut yeah, he decided to refuse me service after I had already paid in full so it took me a while to get my money back. I still have not got it back yet. It’s just wrong

There was no one at the check in counter, I had to call the property to get someone to check me in.

The check in process is pretty unprofessional. They need a system update so they can see your online booking. I don’t like that they ask for your phone to check the booking. That’s not my responsibility. Other than that irritating process I absolutely love the rooms and area. Very quiet and clean

It is a motel. But all things considered, it reminded me of the old days. It's clean, the owners are accommodating, and the location gave me easy access to anywhere i wanted to go in Pensacola. I would stay again. It was simple to check in. I love old school with a safe feeling, and that is exactly what I got. A diamond in the rough motel.

So, I loved the owners and my room was clean and very cute. This is mostly my fault, but when I booked I did not realize that the motel is WAY out there. Like in Belleview FL basically. Also, there were some people staying on the other side of the property that made me feel seriously unsafe. I came back to the motel after having breakfast on the second day of my 3 day stay, and a woman was standing in the parking lot looking at people very threateningly. She stared me down, walked to the gutter at the entrance of the property, poured a mysterious substance down the drain while looking at me like she was going to attack me, then walked to back to her room where a man was standing outside, also staring me down. I pretty much packed up and left immediately and booked a room in Gulf Breeze. I just ate the cost of my last night at the American Inn. It was a seriously sketch situation. They were up to something crazy. Some of these issues are not the owners fault. I would just not stay here as a woman traveling alone!

Just like the photos, had everything we needed. Only downside was we opened the fridge to someone’s left over food, however the place looked and smelled clean. Would stay again the location is convenient !

Great lil spot to stay! Newly renovated rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. Conveniently located to downtown, the beach, and shopping! Would definitely recommend!

Good condition for a 1950s motor Lodge. All the linens were clean, Hot water was quick and plentiful. Felt safe, loved the proximity to the Produce Market!
