Stayed here instead of the usual airport hotel, its just a short drive to Heathrow T5 bit doesn't have the feel of an airport hotel, more a gastropub with rooms. Room was pretty plush, bed comfy, good shower. Had dinner and a beer in their restaurant, which is really quite good. Staff were nice, friendly and attentive

Had a great overnight stay very close to Heathrow airport -less than 15 min to our car rental return. Room was spacious and clean and well decorated. We loved the bar area and the dining rooms were very nice. Al in all a great stay and would recommend this property!

Great spot for a one nighter after flying into Gatwick on a Thursday evening and flying out the next night from Heathrow. We had a fabulous dinner and the package included the breakfast which was extensive and scrumptious.

Cute boutique hotel but bathroom very small. No air conditioning. Staff was extremely friendly and made the stay pleasant. Great restaurant downstairs.

We arrived with the warmest of welcomes and a beautiful venue. Our room was fully stocked with teas and coffees and the offer to restock from the pantry if we so needed. The coffee was delicious and so was the sloe gin in the room. The food was incredible, well priced for the area and the service was spot on. We look forward to traveling back to the area and rebooking.

Some of the lights in the room did not work making the room very dowdy. The extractor fan in the bathroom ran permanently which was noisy.

The property was very good and every thing had a touch of class about it. The amenities were very good, shower pressure in the room was great, the environment was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and staff were very friendly. The only negative at this property is the boiler constantly making noise every hour which meant we did not have a good sleep in the room (Mowbray)

The Kings Arm was a great place to stay. The staff were excellent, always smiling. We needed a place to stay convenient to Windsor Great Park - the journey took about 15mins. The bedroom was not large but had everything in it we needed. The bed was super comfy. The bathroom was very clean and the towels were changed every day. The only thing I would say - there were planters outside the property in the car park with dead plants - wouldn’t be difficult to replant and would look so much better. The restaurant provided a good choice and the food was excellent. We stayed for 3 nights and the rate was excellent Would definitely recommend

Upon check in we was not made to feel welcome, was made to pay upfront for room, before we had seen it. During our stay, we found various problems. Didn’t complain at time because we didn’t want to ruin our stay.we only get one night away each year.! We have stayed in the same room a few years ago, and was very nice. Wife loves the rolled top copper bath. Room now looking tired. Needs freshing up. Toilet seat loose, tap dripping. Extract fan covered in dust. Walls in bathroom, chiped paintwork ,and dirty around sink area. Sash windows dirty and cob webs and need painting. Lots of dust on skirting boards around entrance to bathroom . Hot water could do with temperature raising.

This is a property with a pub and restaurant on the first floor, and 6(??) rooms above the pub and restaurant. The good: the restaurant has a well-varied menu, the food was tasty and the service prompt and friendly. The pub is well stocked. The room prices are reasonable. The not-so-good: they assigned us the "Lacy" room, which is basically what would have been the attic in this house. It was clean and tidy. There were 2 sets of stairs to climb to get to the room, the 2nd set was narrow and steep. The "room" was tiny with extremely limited counter top space. The bathroom was large, but no place to set your toiletries. There was no living room space, only the short and narrow space connecting the bathroom with the bedroom, which had a large bean-bag as the sitting space. There was a small table and a chair, with the coffee pot, amenities, and complimentary water. The room had a king-size bed, but the bed took up the entire width of the room and you had to climb over the bed to get to the other side. There were 2 small bed-side tables. The building is also on the corner of a very busy intersection, so vehicle noise is on going. Unfortunately, we wouldn't stay again ... sorry.

The food has improved since my last stay here (a year of two back). The bed was very comfortable and the standard of the bed linen also impressed. Good value for money. Outside noise is the only issue. Busy roads, overhead aircraft issues due to proximity to Heathrow. No a/c means you have to leave the window open…. Enough said

Lovely pub situated just off the main road in Egham. Very easy to check in and we were shown to the room. Very quirky decor which was fine and a large bed and spacious bathroom. Only negatives were that the room got very hot so the fan had to be deployed and the extractor fan from the kitchen must run close by as we could hear it for a while and some of the smell escaped into the room.

My only negative comment is to make sure what you you book. I booked a deluxe king room and was given the suite which was actually a loft. My boyfriend is 6’3 so he was hitting his head on the ceiling often. Unfortunately the inn was not able to accommodate us to another room. I don’t blame the hotel I think it was Expedia fault. But if you have any physical disabilities this room would not work for you.

Bedroom was in the loft. Only able to stand in the centre. Bed is a mattress on the floor which you have to walk across as you cannot get around it. Very small windows. None open on arrival. Room temperature 32.7 at 10pm. Fan on all night. Awoke to temperature of 28. Food excellent.

What a beautiful little hotel this is. Such a friendly welcome, and the room (including a small 'sitting room') was really lovely, including lots of little details such as some sloe gin and 'lavender sleep spray'. I was very sorry that I was on a business trip and only staying one night. The only downside to be aware of is that the hotel is next to a busy road, and so if you're a light sleeper it might not suit you. The room, helpfully, had ear plugs but I couldn't use them because I needed to hear my alarm in the morning.

Good location and price. Really liked the aesthetic - lots of nice touches throughout the place. Thanks to Ali for the warm welcome and showing us to the room. Would consider staying again but there are some things to improve:- Sensor activated bathroom light kept coming on even with the door shut. Bathroom door is effectively see through meaning the bedroom lit up at intervals during the night and there is effectively no privacy. Extractor fan was on permanently and noisy. Bathroom is a wet room, but the tiny shower screen does nothing. Bed was a good firmness but strangely short and pillows were hard.

An amazing stay at The Kings Arms, a hidden gem. The manager and staff were so kind and helpful, we arrived late after a long drive and the kitchen had just closed but they kept it open so we could order some food and it was greatly appreciated. The room was beautiful, would recommend highly and hope to come back in the future.

The service in the dining room was very poor. We had to wait for nearly one hour for our evening meal. The bathroom had limited privacy as it had glass door and window. This will look all right in a showroom, but not practical. Overall the stay was pleasant.

This is a very difficult review to have to leave to be very honest! The Kings Arms is a very nice place, and there is a lot to like. The food is very good and the staff were, by and large, excellent! But this was a rare night away from the kids for me and my wife. And unfortunately we encountered a number of problems with our room which ultimately meant a not so enjoyable and restful nights sleep! Things happen, I get that. But how we deal with them and try to resolve them, is how we are remembered. Disappointly, the problem resolution was unsatisfactory, as was the case afterwards too! Admittedly, they apologised, and offered us a discount on our next meal there. But this was meant to be a special night away, and as such, with the issues we encountered, I would have expected more. They wanted to show us what they can do to make it right, then a refund or replament night away would have been the least they should do. But what do we know. We're just the customers, the customers who spent on a night away, drinks and a meal. Can't help but feel disappointed with the outcome. It's left a sour taste, when there was a great opportunity to put it right! As I say, a lot to like. Just not when it comes to problem management! Such a shame!!

The Kings Arm was a great place to stay. The staff were excellent, always smiling. We needed a place to stay convenient to Windsor Great Park - the journey took about 15mins. The bedroom was not large but had everything in it we needed. The bed was super comfy. The bathroom was very clean and the towels were changed every day. The only thing I would say - there were planters outside the property in the car park with dead plants - wouldn’t be difficult to replant and would look so much better. The restaurant provided a good choice and the food was excellent. We stayed for 3 nights and the rate was excellent Would definitely recommend

Stayed here instead of the usual airport hotel, its just a short drive to Heathrow T5 bit doesn't have the feel of an airport hotel, more a gastropub with rooms. Room was pretty plush, bed comfy, good shower. Had dinner and a beer in their restaurant, which is really quite good. Staff were nice, friendly and attentive

This hotel was really great value for money. The evening meal in the bar was excellent and the full breakfast was amazing. The hotel is conveniently located within 7 miles of LHR and it was easy to get an Uber to and from the hotel. The manager (I forgot her name but she was originally from France) was a truly amazing host. Thank you!

Great spot for a one nighter after flying into Gatwick on a Thursday evening and flying out the next night from Heathrow. We had a fabulous dinner and the package included the breakfast which was extensive and scrumptious.

Overnight stay before flight from Heathrow. This pub/hotel beats the faceless airport chain hotels hands down. Only 25 mins to terminal Public areas and rooms done in a very lovely style and comfortable. Only niggle is that our room was at the front facing a busy road and as summer heatwave 2 had hit we needed to keep windows open so it was quite noisy.

The food has improved since my last stay here (a year of two back). The bed was very comfortable and the standard of the bed linen also impressed. Good value for money. We booked 1 night at The King's Arms on our way from the western countryside to London Heathrow for departure. The staff were friendly, the food in the restaurant was exceptionally good - Lamb Chops in the evening with a fine bottle of French red, lovely English breakfast in the morning. The room was comfortable, with upscale furnishings, a fantastic shower, and a hand-held bidet! Highly recommend!
